Meet the Business Owner
Hue and Marla P.
Business Owner
Most artists find themselves on a never ending and always learning journey. Hue seeks to follow the basic idea that working with clay is actually a creative conversation with the entire process. The majority of Hue’s work is aesthetic altered forms and functional wares. Marla has completed well over 400 portraits for families across the U.S. She remains passionate about and committed to the concept that each painting is a visual interpretation of people and/or their pets. For both of us the act of creating involves tremendous thought and hard work, yet is ultimately an immensely rewarding experience.
Both Parnells earned BFA degrees from Missouri State University. They are juried members of The Best of Missouri Hands and members of Springfield Regional Arts Council and Studio 55 of Springfield.
We sell our pottery and artwork throughout the U.S. through Parnell Studios, and we also own Faith Vessels Pottery For Worship and KilnDoc kiln repair.
