We are so pleased with the experience we had at Carpetland. John is a wonderful salesperson to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us many different options to choose from for a runner for our stairs, explained many different things to consider, and did not try and upsell us.
The outside of the business is in an interesting location (and not correct when you search for it on Google maps through your GPS), but I’m glad that we didn’t let that steer us away. The customer service here is top notch! We have not had the carpet installed yet as we just ordered it yesterday, but based on our experience yesterday, I’m sure it will be done extremely well. We will definitely be returning here when we re-​do the flooring in our basement (the estimated price of which was MUCH less than having a company like Home Depot do it!)

Update: carpet was installed beautifully! The guys were punctual and timely with the installation. We couldn’t be happier!

Our initial experience was good. We went to the Woodbridge store. Umberto was very knowledgeable. We scheduled an appointment for 5:30pm. My wife called to make verify the appointment He said he was tied up and didn’t know if he would make it. I called 30 minutes after he was suppose t o be here and he said he had customers in the store and he couldn’t just close up the store. Well we are customers but we don’t rate high enough for Carpetland to keep their appointments. If they can’t bother to call and ask to reschedule and then tell us they are busy with other customers what does that say about their business practices.

I highly recommend this local, family run business. Ben and John are fantastic to work with. They are both very knowledgable and helpful when faced with trying to choose from their enormous selection of hardwood and carpeting. I worked mainly with Ben who couldn’t have been nicer and on point with communication. The installation of both hardwood and carpet went smoothly and without any hiccups. Again, I would recommend this business for all flooring needs.

I was in search of an area rug and decided to stop in. Their selection was great and the service was incredible. It took me 3 rugs before I was actually happy with the one I purchased. The owner Mr. Mehrdad was very patient and helpful. I highly recommend this business.

Two thumbs up!!! from walking in the door to the install, everything was a breeze and employees were all helpful.
Ben took his personal time on a Sunday afternoon to come down to my house (I live way out in the sticks), he measured everything and had a few quotes ready to go Monday afternoon. My wife and I weren’t very sure as to what we wanted in which rooms as far as carpeting or wood flooring. Ben made sure to give us the quotes depending on which way we wanted things to be. He was super friendly, had no problems working around our dogs and made the decision on who we would use for our business that much easier.
That Tuesday we picked out the styles and colors of what we wanted. Ben had everything ordered and it was ready to go that following week. The day that we had scheduled for install we got a surprise with our daughter coming into the world a little earlier than expected. Ben had no issue reworking around our schedule and his guys came out the following day, let our dogs in and out, way above and beyond their job description.
All I can say with confidence is that we would not of got this kind of service with anyone else. Carpetland will continue to get our business and we are extremely happy with the service we received throughout the process.
