Very limited menu. Very overpriced. Seriously, $ 22 for a spinach and strawberry salad? there are few other options in Springdale on a holiday, so they can justify it, I guess. The steaks were well cooked and well seasoned. Hubby enjoyed his prime-rib. My Kansas City cut New York steak was cooked well and had a nice char. It had a topping of fried onions and mushrooms. A sauce to tie it all together would’ve been nice. They had some local beers on tap, but the wine selections were lacking. Overall, service was fine. The high prices and the small menu is what would keep up from recommending Arkansas Al’s to anyone.

We stayed during the slow week and it was amazing because we had Zion to ourselves. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated by Desiree. She wasn’t personable but very friendly and tended to all our request. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the best views of Zion. Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop and the museum which was a plus for us at this lodge.

Absolutely amazing steak! Best I’ve had in a long time. I pulled over into this place not expecting much, but wound up ordering a rather competitively priced filet mignon. The(huge) plate came out and it was a good sized filet(7 – 8 oz) that had a massive amount of fries and an additional huge order of onion rings for good measure that were just offered up as a surprise and not mentioned on the menu. The onion rings were made from scratch, in-house. I was completely blown away by the quality of the food here. The one thing I would change is that they have a fake great white shark head on the wall and that was kind of cheesy given the rest of the décor was ‘hunter’s cabin’ with buffalo, elk, and other items of a western motif.

We stayed at the majestic view lodge and it was very convenient to just walk on over before heading out to hike through Zion. Although the food was average, it was just perfect to start a long day — and frankly, we were all pretty ravenous from the day before and almost anything tastes good. While I would not suggest the food snob come here, it is a good family restaurant. Tyler, our server was particularly pleasant, and very helpful suggesting hikes and was very attentive. We really enjoyed starting the morning with his cheerful attitude. All of the waitstaff seemed equally pleasant and attentive, which was awesome!

Very disappointing, especially for the money. I had the rotisserie chicken and it tasted like grocery store chicken with some mediocre BBQ sauce on it. Garlic mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. The wait staff seemed to try to do a good job, but didn’t even have enough plates available to give us any with our bread. Save your money and go to Oscars or another place in town.

The main attraction here is the view; arguably the best of any restaurant in the area. The breakfast and service were good. French toast made with cinnamon bread was very tasty and portions generous. Buttermilk pancakes and eggs were standard. Prices were in line with other area restaurants.

We’re just few hours away to home(california) from Springdale but I can’t wait to post a review about this awesome restaurant. The waitress(amy) was very accommodating and friiendly. I had the dryaged ribeye that was sooo delicious!!! Their homemade bread and mashed potatoes are also great! They are not pricey at all. Our meal at Arkansas was the best of all the meals we had during our stay in Springdale.

Overpriced food. Ravioli was good. Everything else was very mediocre. I can look up online recipes and make a better dish than this. The servers were nice though. But still doesn’t make up for the over priced food.

This is the same as the Majestic View Steakhouse & Saloon. My wife and I ate supper here after hiking Angel’s Landing hoping for a great steak. We were not disappointed. At 6:30 we were the only ones there. By 7:00 the dining room was half full. The waitress attentive and very personable. The local brews were cold and flavorful. And the filet, and rib eye were as good as any we have ever had. There was a change in management and chefs a while ago so disregard the previous complaints and enjoy.

Um apparently this used to be under different owners and since the change things have gone downill, I wish I would have run into the local who warned me about this place a day before so I could have saved my money. This is located inside the Majestic View Lodge, the décor of the restaurant reminded me of, now don’t judge, Disney’s Country Bear Jamboree with the all the animals playing instruments. It was old and outdated, the walls tried to resemble a log cabin. There were only a couple people in the place, so that right there should have given us a clue. Against my better judgment, we stayed, my friend was craving a a filet, and I saw they had halibut on the menu, so 3 of us ordered halibut and one had the steak. My friend said her steak was great, but the 3 of us that had the fish, could have went without. The fish was so overcooked it was chewy and tough. My two other friends said they agreed, so we each tried each others, and they were all inconsistent. I should have sent it back I only was able to stomach half of it, and at $ 20 something dollars, it wasn’t cheap. Avoid this place at all cost.
