My sister introduced me to Taqueria Las Pena a few years ago. They’ve moved around a couple of times between then. Now they’re located near a car wash and daycare. I usually get the beef quesadilla. The green salsa is awesome. The red sauce is super spicy. My sister loves their horchata, which comes in a huge styrofoam cup for $ 2.00 and tastes like iced chai soymilk.

I have been eating at this place for the past 6 – 7 years, but they recently moved. I found them again two weeks ago on the corner of Rhodes Rd. and 2920, since they moved from there original location about three weeks ago. I ate the fajita torta and it was delicious. It was made with perfectly seasoned, very juicy, and tender meat. Try their breakfast tacos, fajita tacos, and their fresh homemade green salsa is right on point. It is a bit spicey for those that aren’t used to the heat, but the flavor is very authentic and savory. These are the best tortas and tacos I have tasted in Spring, TX in the last decade.

for being a taco stand this place is amazing!!! The lengua tacos are a little spicy but good and fresh. They lack choices as you wouldon a taco stand but what makes up for that is the fact that they cook small batches so the food is always fresh.
