2920 Carwash

This place deserves every bad review given. I’ve been going here for years but since they changed ownership/​management, it has gone down hill fast. After my last oil change, I had to take my vehicle into the dealership and spend $ 400+ correcting their mistakes.

New pricing for carwashes is a joke. Boycott this place for a new wash. No wheel shine or inside shine for $ 27.99.

Extremely disappointing. As a first time customer I was taken advantage of. I have pulled in to this place 4 times in the past 8 months, each time not knowing where to go or what to do. With no instruction on my 3^rd visit I drove right up to the car wash, and was instructed to back up and go through one of the ports to get set up. I originally wanted a wash and oil change, but was overly frustrated and left after the car wash. The car wash was disappointing on its own having only wash about 75 percent of my mid size truck.
Needless to say I got an oil change at another place. After being 2 months past my oil change date, I grew desperate on a Saturday afternoon and decided to go in and give them one last try. I pulled up to the port but not directly into one and waited for about 3 minutes. After watching employees work and walk around for those 3 minutes I pulled around to the caraway ports thinking I could get setup for the oil change and wash there, but there was no mention of an oil change there. So I parked my car off to the side and walked in. They said to pull directly up to the port and they would take me. I did as I was told.
Upon pulling up I was greeted by a pleasant woman that asked me questions I didn’t understand. Having moved to far from my oil change guys of over 5 years I had no idea what she was asking. I told her I just needed an oil change and car wash. She said to pull up closer and she would take care of the rest.
The oil change only took about 10 minutes. Not bad at all. After the oil change I was confronted by the clerk and went to pay for the job. She said the oil change was $ 68.72. That seems high to me having only payed $ 35 for the past 5 years. So I asked what kind of car was they got me. She said it was the complimentary car wash that came with every oil change. To which I asked why was the oil change so expensive. She pointed out it was synthetic oil. I don’t remember ever needing that so I asked to speak with the tech that serviced my vehicle. She said that all Mitsubishi’s required synthetic oil. I’ve never been so blatantly lied to by a mechanic that I decided to not say anything. I wasn’t about to argue with a mechanic AFTER they upsold me without asking. Had they asked me, I would have never agreed to a synthetic oil change. Conventional oil has never done me wrong and my last car lasted almost 24 years until the transmission gave out and I decided to upgrade.
I do not appreciate someone taking the liberty to do what ever they want with my property. As I’m sure they wouldn’t. Needless to say I will have 2 vehicles for the next 60+ years of my life somewhere else and give them my $ 20,000 business.
Do not come here. They are not organized and do not communicate the necessary info to allow you the opportunity to not be swindled.

I have never experienced such bad customer service! This place is now under new management, and gift cards purchased before new management are no longer accepted — even if you purchased a $ 115 gift card for detailing. While trying to figure out how I can be reimbursed or contact old management, the new manager was so unhelpful and hung up on me (I was firm on the phone, but did not cuss). When I called back, I was hung up on twice more. If I could give no star I would! «Horrible» is an understatement for this place. I hope you take your business elsewhere. I am filing a complaint with the BBB even though they already have an F rating.

Saw a lot of bad reviews but this has been the place I always come to get my oil changed. Being a creature of habit I decided to come anyway. Delighted to find out there are new owners and all new staff. They were prompt, very friendly and did a great job! Love that I can continue to come to the same place and get great service.

Decent prices, but don’t be on a schedule to get somewhere thinking this is a quick in and out even just getting the basic wash package. I came on a Sunday morning around 10:30, and there are maybe a dozen cars here total. Could just be short staffed, but not seen one car pull out yet. Never did think getting your car washed would take half a day.

I road with the express this time and I would have gotten a better wash at a gas station

I hate this place with a passion. A couple years ago they locked my keys in my car and broke my car alarm trying to get them out. Had they just told me what they did I could have used my car door code to open my car. Their also beyond slow with their car washes and oil changes. The inside of this place is disgusting and the bathrooms are horrible.

Went in Valentines week and had the wife’s vehicle get the full treatment…150 buck with carpets shampooed etc… Walked the vehicle and of course there were areas that I pointed out that weren’t clean and I could wipe with my hand and or fingernail… not very impressed. Went in for a «works» deal they had on a coupon and didn’t print out the coupon… and asked that they go ahead and honor the $ 2 off and they would get my business, nope no way not gonna happen…“We have to have the coupon!” Wow, REALLY… I know it’s a policy thing… but hey, here’s an idea… how about getting the $ 25 bucks instead of losing a customer… I backed up and left… it’s not the 2 dollars, it’s the principle of the idea… in today’s technology, you should allow a customer to just show you the email on their phone, or better yet, just mention the deal… as a business owner myself I would NEVER let a customer leave when I have a chance to gain them for longevity… you make a customer happy and make them feel like they are getting a deal, they WILL come back… just sayin… I will go elsewhere from here on out… Good luck staying in business by turning away customers.

Every negative review for this place is true. There is no quality control. They recruit temp labor in the mornings and no one behind them to check the quality of work. If someone opens a car wash on the land next to their facility, he will make millions by providing quality work.

I took my wife’s Expedition in for oil change, state inspection and car wash. I got it back missing the driver’s side mirror. They did not bother to bring up the damage. I had to ask where my mirror was. I filled out a phony incident report, contacted their «headquarters» through the website. Still no reply. I will never go back. Go at your own risk!

Do NOT go to this Carwash or SADDLEBROOK Carwash!!! The Carwash damaged my car and the Owners don’t want to take responsibility for it! I understand accidents happen but a good business owner should stand behind it. The same owners own Saddle Brook Carwash on Kuykendahl so don’t waste your time going to either place cause they don’t care about their customers!

2 hours! Horrible! All this for a quick wash, wipe down and vacuuming of a van, which we were told would take 45 min, at MOST. Why, you ask. Employees jaw jacking, walking away from one vehicle to focus on another! Ridiculous, in addition, they did a crummy job! PLEASE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.

Not great! I had to call them to get someone to come outside and take care of me and others in line. I wash first in line and the third taken. Had to find someone to pay inside. Had to ask them to go back and clean bugs off the front. Lint from towels all over my windows. Rear window not cleaned. Not worth the expense.

Just to remind people do not use this car wash. They have the worst manager ever. They will destroy your wheels and they wash their hands saying it was like that. Not even apologize, just kick you out of the office and tell you he don’t need your business here. Every time I pass by them and there is no customers and all the employees just looking at their faces I am the happiest man in the world. That teach me a lesson why you pay someone to destroy your property if you can do it The proper way at home.

I sent a email to there customer service the same day I posted the original review. Still no response. 6−13−14

If you like to be cussed at by the manager, John, for asking why your car is not ready after 45 min of only an interior cleaning, if you like to be screamed at and told to «Get the F*CK outta my store», if you like to be put down and harassed in front of other customers… Then by all means go to 2920 Car Wash! After this happened I tried to talk to an owner and was told the only thing I could do was send an email. I did that and have not heard back at all. Plus, the exterior car wash was broken (that’s why I was only getting the interior done) and there were only 2 employees there– John the manager and one other guy doing oil changes, etc. Still can’t believe it was treated like that. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I come to this place all the time and usually have no problems. After today I will never come back. I had a coupon for an oil change+free car wash at $ 28.99. I pull up and tell the maintenance guy that I have a coupon for the oil change and car wash, he says ok and promptly takes my keys. He comes back in like 10 minutes later and tells me I need my air filter changed, I told him to go ahead and do it. This is where my experience goes sour. The cashier comes over and tells me I owe her 80 dollars! I only had $ 40 cash, so I asked her if I could pay half in cash and the rest on my card. She stared at me like I was an idiot and said «No, we don’t do that here.» So I give her my card already angry and she runs it. I then look at my receipt and ask if they had applied my coupon. She said that it was my fault I didn’t tell her about the coupon, she didn’t know what to tell me because she couldn’t refund me, and next time I needed to tell her. As I stated before, I come here all the time and I’ve never had such a problem with applying a coupon. She was just rude and shouldn’t work in customer service if she doesn’t know how to talk to people. If you like to wait for a long time and have the cashier treat you horribly then stop on in. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!

Horrible car wash, horrible customer service, the inside waiting area is dirty, BEWARE! They will take your $ 20 & give you back a hosed off still dirty car. Think management is going to help? Nope! The tall Asian has attitude in plenty. Pretty sure we saw an employee walk off the job while we were there (and I don’t blame him). Spare yourself & keep driving down 2920 towards Kuykendahl & visit the car wash by Starbucks.

Decent job vacuuming my car out and the wash is automatic so I guess I can’t complain there. The bathrooms are disgusting and there’s no handsoap. I told the cashier about the lack of soap and she said «it’s a soap and water mixture.» No. It’s water in a soap bottle. Really? I’m paying $ 40 for an oil change and you can’t have soap in the bathroom? Very bare and basic waiting area. Frankly you’re waiting eternity for your car in a miserable place. Make sure you bring hand sanitizer.

This is a pretty decent car wash place. They do a good job, but it does take a long time. The oil change people always find something extra that needs to be done on your car, but I think that’s standard practice for this industry. The inside the store workers are always helpful and pleasant. It’s always clean and there’s lots of indoor and outdoor seating while you wait. Plus they have a small children’s play area, so it keeps the little ones busy.
The two times I’ve had my car «super cleaned» (wax, shampoo carpets, etc.) they’ve done a great job, but I think the $ 120+ price tag is high, especially for a mid size or compact car

I bought a card loaded for 5 washes. The cashier rings me up for the current carwash including the card so for 6. I said no. Charge me for the card first and we’ll use one of the 5 from card. She didn’t get it. I kind of felt ripped off. But it’s not terribly a big deal.
They vacuum before it goes into the wet tunnel of soft clothed tentacles. It’s a pretty long tunnel. You can follow it throughout the course and watch through glass windows or sit in a depressing sitting area and watch tv. Option 3, Lounge outside watch the guys who wipe down the remaining beads of water. Because, I could have sworn left a few bills for the toll in a compartment and it’s no longer there. Sad.
Other than that. They did a decent job. Not the best but decent.
