Are you serious right now… No drive thru, dine in only. Been coming here every Saturday for the par 18 months. What do you mean no drive thru. There are a total of 3 people waiting for food. Why is there a wait… Either get more employee or a better manager.

Spent 45 minutes waiting for food just to get home to some stale ass chips and two tacos missing. Drove BACK up there to have an asshole manager say the chips couldn’t have been stale because everything is made fresh to order!!! Is that why it took 45 minutes to get my order and only 5 minutes to get fresh chips and two tacos? By the way the tacos were WRONG!!! This time they were soft beef tacos not beef fajita!!! Rather than going back to deal with a dumbass once again I just cut my losses and left. I will NEVER go back to this Taco Cabana!!!

Horrible service experience I had yesterday not only waiting for 20 min but when ordering a stake fajita burrito they might as well call it a «rice burrito«I must have counted 6 or 7 small ¾» pieces of meat and the rest was nothing but rice for $ 5… Hope upper management looks into this location before it falls apart whit many bad reviews.

If you read my reviews, you know I’m not a huge fan of chains. This Taco Cabana is an exception for me. I also say this from my perspective of eating on their patio. Service: The turnover rate at this type of place is insane so there’s always a new confused face working the counter. But the food usually come out correct. Management: The manager guy is really helpful and actually quite a hoot. He always makes sure that everything works out nicely. Happy Hour: Really, this is the only time you should be caught in a taco cabana. 1.50 margaritas made with tequila and triple sec? Why not??? The food and beer is also cheaper at this time.

WORSTTACOCABANAEVER!!! Bad service and the ice smells. The tacos had very little meat. Couldn’t go through drive through because some one was broken down in the drive through lane for like 20min and they did nothing to remedy it like push her old broke car out of the way. Food was cold

This place always seems to be training new people so they must have quite a bit of turnover. However if you’re patient, the food is always on point. The restrooms are usually very clean too.

We went tonight through the drive thru, they said cash only. I had no cash & could not back out or go forward. I had to wait for 20 – 25 minutes just to get to the window. While waiting I realized I did have cash. When I got to the window, I told her this & she told me I would have to go through the drive thru again. I told her I only needed 1 cheese enchilada meal & she said no, I would have to go through again because there was a long line(I knew this because I just waited on 2 cars for @ least 20 minutes). I could understand if I had a huge order, but it was just one meal. I think that is totally ridiculous! There always seem to be soothing going on at this restaurant.

Went in the other day horrible service apparently the mod was more interested in his cell phone and talking to another employee than getting me service I stood at the counter for about 15 minutes no joke. The customer behind me actually left. And finally when the lady came from the back she was acting as if she didn’t even want to be there to take my order. The food was alright except for the way they kinda threw the veggies and sour cream in the fajita tacos. If it wasn’t for my kids wanting to hurry and eat I would have gone to another restaurant. I would recommend going to the location on 1960 better. Also the salsa bar was empty and kinda freaked me out so I didn’t even bother getting any salsa. They need better service before I go back to this location

I don’t frequent TC too much, mostly because the location isn’t that convenient, and lets be honest little Mexican restaurants are more prolific than Starbucks. If I’m over in that area shopping I will sometimes stop in for a quick bite. The food is decent, the vegetables are always very fresh, and they make their own tortillas which are great. Sometimes I just like to order some tortillas & queso. They also have a salsa bar, so you can top your meal with whatever salsa, pico, etc you heart desires. I figure it’s healthier than a burger or something fried. It’s also better than Taco Bell.

I am a taco cabana lover for over 20 years. Just love the flavor of the cheese and the creamy green sauce. I would eat that on my dog it is so good. I also like the taquito’s and yes folk it is even better with creamy green sauce. I have never eaten at this location only had to go. Or drive thru.

Stopped in here with the girlfriend and company, I gotta say that this place and experience was a big mistake for me, but the girls loved it. Perhaps its because I’ve been trying to ween myself off of fast food places, but everything just didn’t sit right with me. The men’s restroom was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. This Taco Cabana is cheap and fast so you get what you pay for. The food was affordable, but I didn’t enjoy it. Oh and there is a territorial Grackle or Mocking bird living right near the front door in one of the trees. That was the exciting part of the visit.

We were visiting from out of state and remembered that we had enjoyed Taco Cabana on our last visit a few years back. We did enjoy the food, especially considering it is fast food. The quality is much better than Taco Bell, but is still fast food quality. I did enjoy the salsa bar. My rating would have been much, much higher if we had had better service, but both our cashier and the person handing us our food were quite rude. I have pretty low expectations for fast food service, but I was made to feel as if I was disturbing them in their day. They were not terribly rude, but certainly did not make me feel welcome, and even felt as though the cashier was trying to belittle me for asking questions about the menu. Food = 4 – 5 stars(for fast food) Service = 1 star

I’m giving this place 3 stars but this place is really hit or miss — you leave sometimes with a 1 star experience and sometimes everything comes together and you get a 5 star experience. So I’ll settle for a 3. When they get it right they take your order quickly, make it right and it’s delicious. This place(like all TC resturants) are very reasonably priced. Their breakfast tacos are really good(we like chorizo and bacon) and I LOVE, LOVE their Cabana Bowls — delicious! What has gone wrong? Gosh… well once I was told they couldn’t make any food because their grills didn’t work. Another time I was told they weren’t open because their cash registers weren’t working. Sometimes if you go in the morning the tortillas are hard and very crunchy on the outside so you know they’re from yesterday. Go in with low expectations and you’ll either not be disappointed or pleasantly surprised.

I was told by someone that this place was going to be some great Mexican food. I was lied to. Seriously. Firstly, the person taking my order was very nice, don’t get me wrong. Though I wasn’t sure if he was trying to hit on my cousin and I or not. He hooked it up, don’t get me wrong, so thanks for that I suppose. But he forgot my nephew’s soda, rude. Secondly, the food? Oh gosh, this was such a joke. The tortilla was so grainy and rough. It was disgusting. I’ve never had an enchilada so small and no sauce at all. The street tacos were terrible, the meat was soo dry. The nachos got soggy quicker than I could even scoop any of the meat onto the chips. What a disappointment. If I knew it was gonna be like this I’d rather eat at Whataburger. –_–

The Taco Cabana on I-45 and Holzworth is Dirty. Floors, establishment and drive thru. Don’t eat there. I love Taco Cabana but I drive to the Woodlands for cleaniness!

$ 3 dollar happy hour everyday 4−7pm includes personal bean & cheese nachos and a 10 oz margarita/domestic beer. Sorry but the above made me chuckle, Happy Hour at what to me seems like a fast food restaurant, but its pivotal information to pass along, cheap booze and a snack, score! I never encountered one of these until I moved out here to Texas, open 24 hours for all your late night munchies needs due to natural human hunger or any other form of consumption of such that would induce a not so natural need to feed. Huge fan of their fully customizable bowls under $ 5 bucks(pretty sure the burritos have the same means to be individualized to your picky tastes). My only suggestion when your being complicated is make sure they know exactly everything you want and repeat, repeat, and repeat again. I’ve gotten bowls missing many things I specifically wanted, le sigh.

Went here strictly for breakfast tacos. They are reasonably priced and come on homemade tortillas. The fresh salsa and pico de gallo they come with are pretty good. Service here can be a bit slow, but it was not terrible. For 10 tacos the total bill was like $ 15. Not a bad deal. It’s good they are open 24 hours.

Late night snack-A-TTACK! I guarrannnnttteeee you will be sleeping like a baby because you will catch the Bowl of «itis» from the tasty build– your– own bowl or the enchiladas dinner. The location doesn’t suck, it’s the slow service! Me and the crew went in since it was a fairly good amount of us and we needed to do seperate orders. THINKAGAIN! Should’ve stayed in the car! Maybe I wouldn’t have aged a year standing in line at the register… How long does it take to throw some rice in the microwave and drizzle some tasty refried beans in a packaged-to-go crispy shell! The point of fast-food is that it is fast… DUH! 20 min. later I receive my food after having to repeat my order about about 3 times and then they rung my up at the drive-thru register. I guess to eliminate counting more than one down at the close of the shift. so I had to wait for her to walk back and forward. I guess they were hiring!
