Rayford Express Valero & Deli

Ok its a sure thing now everytime I get gas here my Toyota Tacoma runs like crap stay away if you want good gas.

It’s like they parked a taco truck inside the store! Okay, it’s a counter, but that’s what the experience reminded me of — same food quality and taste. This is not gourmet food. This is «I’m in the neighborhood and I’m really hungry» food. For that, it definitely fits the bill. This is more «Tex» than «Mex». For example, the rice has veggies in it, and it’s white (not yellow). Very tasty, by the way. And I don’t usually notice pico, but this was super fresh. The refried beans were creamy (and not thick and heavy like so many places serve). I was surprised when I realized that I’d finished the beans (which I can’t ever remember having done before). The servings are generous, and the server was very pleasant. Don’t expect fine cuts of meat (think taco truck chop). DO expect to receive a nice, filling serving of tacos or a mixed plate.

This place has a great deli inside everyone seems to be happy. worth the visit.
