Perhaps The worst Tex-Mex I’ve ever eaten. Clueless service. Wrong order delivered, picked up and sent to other table. Sent food back, and we were still charged for it. Avoid. AVOID.

The food is good depending on what you order the customer service needs work I explained to the waiter that me and my husband would be sharing a steak fajita dinner and I would like an extra plate of rice, refried beans etc he didn’t understand that we wanted to share the meal, when the food arrived he had to bring the rice and beans etc for me and I had already tried to explain it is him and he asked if we were going to pay for the extra plate of rice and beans etc. Customer service skills needs improvement!

It’s just been very hit or miss, I’m not Latino so I cannot speak based on the perspective of one no matter how often I get confused as one. I’ve been here twice, once three years ago and the tacos were fantastic however after enjoying the local Deni Deli, Chicos, and various taco stands, those smaller establishments were far better in taste on my recent trip. I ordered Nachos with beans and I’ve tasted the driest cheese and beans in my life. It was worse then the similar priced nacho dish from Denni’s which included beef at the same price point. I had to drink two dos equis to get the taste out my mouth. The dish was piping hot but never was I ever confused as I was that day! The spices were mild, the salsa was watery. Just wasn’t impressed with cheaper, better options. Mexican food and tex mex is a dime a dozen.

No stars for this restaurant I just moved to this area and and was really wondering how it was ;trust me this is a bad choice. I work all around Houston tx from la Porte all the way to Freeport and everything in between so I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. And never have I been so grossed out of the food. Not to mention the prices so expensive and not worth it !!!

LOVE Las Ramadas! I come here once a week and enjoy the food and friendly service. They’ve catered several events for local schools and swim teams and have been very hospitable when we have scheduled large groups of family for lunch parties.

I’ve been here MANY times over the years and I’m sad to say that the food quality is going downhill. The prices are great, super-cheap even, but maybe it’s time to raise the price a bit and get better quality ingredients? No longer my bar stop on Friday nights!

We’ve just about given up on this place. Uneven service and they cannot manage to get the Chili Con Queso more than lukewarm and act affronted when you ask them to heat it.

My favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant. We go there at least once a week. Food is good and the place is cozy. Get #6 combo! So much food for so little money!

I was at a workshop nearby and pressured into eating here with my coworkers. Lunch specials start at $ 5.50 and the wide variety of menu items offers a little something for everyone. Service was excellent. Chips and warm salsa were served immediately. The food was okay. The tampiquena steak was a little chewy and overdone. The rice and beans were meh. The caldo de res, however was really good. Nice beefy broth with tender meat and vegetables. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but it’s an option if I’m in the area.

We usually go here when we want Mexican food. Very good food and we have always had great service. Probably one of the best locations in the area.

Good food, attentive staff and very strong tasty margaritas. The price is more than fair and the portions are big, sometimes big enough to split!

Great, hidden away place in the neighborhood. Great food, always excellent service and clean. Can’t comment on the margaritas as I’m not a drinker, but others certainly seem to enjoy. Little criticism I could give is: get some new booth seating. Very worn and lumpy. Also, ditch the smoking section. Beyond that — keep it up!

This is our go-to Mexican restaurant. Great happy hour prices on jumbo margaritas and the food is great. They have karaōke every week which I thought was strange at first but it is actually quite entertaining. Love the chicken fajitas and margaritas here!

Wife and I have been coming here for about 7 years. I think I literally have tried everything on the menu. My wife likes the king fajitas the most, I’m torn between the fajita beef chili rellanos and the Pollo con crema. Its food is consistent, service has had a lot of turn around but is always decent. Interior hasn’t changed for a while but what ever. The jumbo margaritas will MESSYOUUP. Dos margaritas de ciudado

When the boyfriend and I first moved to the area, we were elated to find tex-mex within walking distance. But we were not impressed with our 1st meal. Chips were stale and they use American cheese on the enchiladas; it lacked flavor. We hadn’t intended on going back, but we noticed they sell Caldo de Res which is not always available at tex-mex places and I definitely vouch for it! It has the authentic flavor and has plenty of meat, squash, and all those other caldo veggies.

I went here with my family when I was at home for Christmas. I’ve come here before and I thought it was in the 2 – 3 star range, but didn’t write a review then. When waiting for our drinks, a roach crawled out from under the table and was scurrying around on top of the table. My mom slammed her menu down on top of it and killed it. Super nasty! We got two salsas, a red one and a green one. The red one was pretty abysmal, the green one was decent. Not looking good. Our food came out(I got an enchilada combo) and it was very ‘meh’. not bad but definitely average or below average for the area. The final nail in the coffin was that they forgot my brother’s food forever and we finally had to ask for it and then they brought it out, saying they hadn’t made it yet, but the plate was not hot. it had been forgotten. I won’t come back here. Thankfully it’s easy to avoid since I live 1500 miles away!
