This is one of my usual Friday night spots. I’ve found the staff to be attentive. The evening crowd usually rolls in around 8 pm– which consists of regulars who like to listen to classic rock and an early– to mid-twenties crowd whose music preference ranges from hip-hop to metal with some country thrown in. There is an enclosed area outside the back door with several picnic tables and a grill. In general a lot of people do not congregate there, so I have found it the ideal location to speak on the phone. There are 3 pool tables, although more room would be nice to avoid having to request someone move aside when trying to make a shot. In all fairness, the crowd here has always been very polite and this is a very minor inconvenience. There is also a shuffleboard table, several dart boards, and various arcade games. There is also a kitchen(separate from the bar) that serves your typical bar fare. Since they are separate from the bar, they currently accept only cash. The food is pretty good, but if you have an aversion to fried food, then the pickings are slim. They also serve steaks which are pretty good.
