What can I say… Hot servers and cold beer! No better stop to start the weekend…

Another spot I usually hit up late night. I really don’t like it here but I go in hope of bumping into some of my «friends» that go here. I have never eaten food here. Once time I think they roofied my friends drink… and he is a dude… Yikes!

If you want mediocre service and a death metal migraine this is your bar! Went here with a group of people for a birthday. First thing we noticed was that it was dead for a Saturday night. There was one table with about 7 people who appeared to be friends with the bartender. The birthday girl put about $ 20 in the jukebox to play some pretty mainstream music(sublime, Michael Jackson, etc) after three songs came a wave of Satanic screamer metal music. The few people in there were interesting for sure, but the bartender and doorman were obviously playing a lot of the music for the customers. We asked what was up with the music and the charming bartender told us that if we wanted to hear specific music we were free to put money in. Which we did. But whatever. The rest of the night was spent playing a jukebox war. Now, I understand that the bartender doesn’t control what customers play, but half her clientele was complaining and she was one of the ones playing half of it. Then we witnessed one of the other patrons dancing on a table, lifting her shirt and exposing her breasts… And it was nothing anyone wanted to see. I take no joy in leaving bad tips. I have lots of family and friends who have worked in the service industry. But, they know that if they want to make good money they have to provide good service and keep their customers happy. We’re young professionals who generally tip well. I wouldn’t be surprised if half of her little friends didn’t even pay for their drinks, much less tip. We only stayed because the birthday girl lives near by and it was too late to go anywhere else. It’s a good thing we didn’t want a drink at last call, because we stood by the bar for at least 10 minutes waiting for her to look at us. Bottom line, if you enjoy loud metal bands screaming«lucifer» over and over, bad servive with a smirk, and a motley crew of young 20-somethings who are obviously upset that wearing flannel and crop tops and being angsty went out of style in the 90s… this may be your little piece of heaven. However, if you’re looking for a night out with good music, a fun crowd, and friendly attentive bartenders go elsewhere. This used to be that place, but those days are apparently long gone. I’m not even sure how they keep the doors open. * This was a Saturday night. Was there recently on a Thursday and there were different bartenders and a different crowd.

Stopped by on St Pattys day with a group of friends. I’ve been here several times and it usually a good place that is close to home to get strong drinks. Usually not very busy when I go, which is a plus for me. Bartenders are normally good but sometimes you do have to flag em down for service. Never ate here, but the food doesn’t look half bad. Smoking is in the back which is a plus! Overall not bad for the suburbs of your looking for mid 20s to 30s crowd.

Clean. Fun. Friendly service. Food was very good. The overall vibe was warm and relaxed. Not a bad place. I’ll stop back in sometime.

Stopped by on Sunday 10⁄12 to watch the games but it was shuttered. Not sure if closed for good or management just cannot be bothered. Honestly, it has been going downhill for months with the loss of good bartenders — seems the manager of the multitude of brewskis is throwing up his hands on this location

We stopped by Brewskis after a late check in at the hotel next door. We figured we could watch Sunday PM football have a couple of beers and plan for our upcoming business meetings. This is a locals bar that has a pool table, video games, and a patio where you can become overcome with second hand smoke ;^). Servcie is friendly and fine and it’s a good place to walk to if you wish a beer or two. Food was forgettable but filled the void. They did have some interesting local beers on tap and a few good bottled ones as well. What was interesting was that they would happily over serve their patrons. Hey we have all been there but watching obviously drunk patrons ordering multiple rounds of shots then tearing out of the parking lot in their cars made me happy that we could just walk across the parking lot to our hotel. Sure I would stop by when if my travels take me back to this section of Houston.

We had a great time until we left and the rude brunette bartender, who wasn’t even our bartender, yelled that our tip wasn’t enough. Mind you our drinks were disgusting. Whiskey and water was basically water and a touch of whiskey and cost us a fortune. Rude people work here and crappy drinks. Not worth the time or money ATALL!

OK for a semi-dive’ish place. Mostly young kids hang there. Prices are pretty low and it is never too busy. Service is always very good. I like they have a separate, and large, smoking area with several large, and not ancient, TVs. We go there since the hotel we stay at is next to it. If there where other simular place near by we’d likely go there instead.

I was staying at a hotel next to this place. I decided to walk to the KFC to grab a bite and walked by this place. Went in to grab a beer and check out the menu. Thursday night was«steak night» so I thought I’d give it a try. I was VERY surprised at the quality of the steak… it was fantastic. They have a good beer selection and the bartenders were beer enthusiasts… encouraging me to try a couple of brews I was unfamiliar with(like the St. Arnold Santos which was delish). The staff and patrons at the bar were fun and I had some great conversations. I travel a lot for work and this was a refreshingly friendly place for a beer! Thank you Brad, Grace and Karen for a fun evening.

Brewski’s is hit or miss. As other reviewers have pointed out, its usual a sausagefest. When it i packed, its hard to get a drink at the bar due to the layout and generally small interior space. Almost everytime ive been during peak hours, there had been a fight. The saving grace is the patio, when its packed and the back bar is open the patio can be a good place to chill with a large party.

Dirty, small, and not that great of drinks. A bunch of old men and young girls. Smells like a locker room. Extremely Lame. Wont be back. I am sure all the under age people and the sugar daddy’s will keep this place open.

It’s close to home which is the only reason I go there, it is full of «bros» a lot of the time, but the drinks are made well and the patio is awesome. I love when Potbelly comes and plays! I have many memories here. The juke box is decent and has a pretty good selection. The most irritating issue in the Winter is that on the patio, the heaters don’t work. I don’t really think the owners are doing anything about that. Hopefully they will soon!
