I consider 1 star to be very generous for this restaurant. My wife and I dined here this evening and we were both very disappointed considering the mostly positive reviews. First of all our server may have said 5 words to us the entire time. We both ordered an entrée and somehow I was the only one who got to eat. They completely forgot about my wife’s food. This may be understandable if we weren’t the only table in the restaurant; which we were. The golden bowl fried rice was very mediocre. It was not terrible so I will at least give them that. The best part was that as our check was presented, our server offered us a coupon for our next visit. This may have been redeeming if it wasn’t all crumpled up and basically just a coupon you would find in your junk mail. We may give them another shot sometime but overall very disappointing.

Decent food but expect an upcharge for everything. Better off eating elsewhere. You can get a much better meal for half the price

This place is very good. Always seated quickly and the wait staff is attentive but not overwhelming. I absolutely love the sesame chicken is delicious. It always has wonderful flavor and plenty of food. Only thing I could say negatively would be that I wish they gave more rice. That’s my opinion. Definitely suggest stopping in to eat at this place.

Loud music is very off putting. Wait staff cleaned silverware and tossed it into a pile in the dining area; overall the food is mediocre and the noise is inappropriate for a pleasant dining experience. Also, too many menu items, this may be why the food is just so-so; no focus on making anything really good. 5÷8÷16 update My husband and I have been here several times hoping for an improved experience. I just tried to order to go because eating at the restaurant is not pleasant. Their staff is beyond rude. I will stop eating sushi before I ever step foot in this horrible place again.

Very clean, nice atmosphere. The server was very polite and the food was delicious. Our miso soup was fantastic and there was a 20% discount on the bill. No idea why but it was a nice surprise!

My family and I really enjoyed eating here. The complimentary Wonton soup was very good. We got bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken and sushi, and it was all delicious. Very fast service and the waitress was very nice. Will be back.

3 visits in and still a great place. Decent pricing with above average Chinese food. Great sushi that is always discounted 20% once the bill comes, generous portions, and great customer service is what makes me keep coming back here. Sushi is made fresh to order and has been very delicious. The shaggy dog and chicken tempura roll are some of my favorites. The place is not very big but seating feels intimate and not crowded. Interior is nicely decorated and doesn’t feel like a cheap Chinese takeout place, although they do offer takeout. Overall, worth a try if you want Chinese at a fair price but don’t want the typical delivery service food.

Very good lunch option with extremely friendly staff. A little strange combining Chinese and Japanese but who cares. I had very good escolar sushi along with am egg roll and free hot and sour soup. Enjoyable experience.

I had been passing by this place for many years. I decided to stop in today and I will be back! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was very prompt. I like the décor of the place as well. I order a bento box because I wanted a variety and it was great!

Because this place is down the street from where I work, my coworker and I come here for lunch pretty often. The waitresses are nice & attentive. Free initial soup of either won ton soup, egg drop or hot & spicy! — Sesame Tofu(4⁄5): One of their lunch specials. Surprisingly, this was delicious. The tofu are fried to perfection, sprinkled with sesame seeds & greatly drowned in brown sauce. The brown rice seem to always be undercooked so I’m probably going to opt out for fried rice next time. — Gyoza(4⁄5): These babies are fat. I love it! Crispy golden bottom & generously FILLED. Flavor was good & it comes with shredded lettuce & carrots. — Pad Thai(3⁄5): A lunch special?! Heck yeah. Besides the undercooked noodles, the flavor & meat were amazingggg. — Shaggy Dog(4⁄5): One of the best I’ve ever had. Simply because the tempura shrimp is SO crunchy. — Volcano Roll(3⁄5): This roll was okay. A bit on the dry side. It’s the classic California roll, topped with crawfish & drizzled with spicy mayo. It is one of our go-to spots & I always look forward into coming here!

This place is small and quaint. Very friendly and efficient service and the food is great! Very fresh fish for sushi and good portion sizes. Prices are very reasonable. Love how they have anything you want: sushi, Thai, Chinese. You want it? They have it! Also very good happy hour as well as a good lunch spot! I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed! Even take out is quick and delicious! This spot is my go to and I highly recommend!

This is a great choice for lunch. Lots of combos to choose from at reasonable prices plus free soup. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The tangerine chicken has large chunks of chicken in a thick tangy sauce. The spicy Thai green curry has great flavor, but was not very spicy. Combos come with an Eggroll and your choice of white, brown, or fried rice.

This neighborhood Chinese restaurant is in a very tight corner of a strip mall. I decided to try them for an early dinner while on business in Houston after reading the Unilocal reviews. I was greed right away by a waitress who was polite with a nice smile on her face. Refreshing to see that. I ordered a crispy chicken egg roll and sesame shrimp with white rice. The egg roll came out quickly and was nice and crisp with great flavor. My sesame shrimp followed soon there after and was equally good. Portions were huge(i.e., Texas sized). More than a dozen jumbo shrimp battered and fried with a tangy sweet and sour like flavor. I gave up on the rice since I was getting full and still struggled to finish the shrimp. Good food at a fair price with Texas sized portions. What’s not to like.
