I bought a 2007 K1200s from them in March of 2015 with 22K miles for approx. $ 8250.
I would never consider buying another bike from them — here’s why:
Although the owner John assured me that the bike had been serviced and gone over before the sale, he and his ad on
did not mention the fact that:
1. The bike needed several recall service repairs including a major one (rear wheel flange).
2. A Power Commander 3 had been installed
3. The kickstand was bent
4. An aftermarket exhaust had been installed
5. The right mirror was loose
6. The final drive unit was failing
7. The starter was having trouble
8. The license plate holder was broken and had been McGivered together.
9. The wiring for the rear turn signals was loose and taped together.
After riding the bike less than 500 miles I found out that the final drive unit was shot and would cost $ 2000 to repair.
I emailed John with the list of problems and the cost and he suggested I have my bike towed from Northern California back to San Diego and he would give me a discount on the labor.
He also suggested finding a used rear drive unit rather than new to reduce the cost of the repair for that.
When I told him that wasn’t probably worth the effort and asked for a partial refund to cover all these expenese ($ 3500 probably so far including all the towing not to mention being stranded twice this summer), he just blew me off and never wrote back.
Now the bike, with 23K miles on it, has starter and engine issues (excessive unwanted revs on some starts, engine miss firing — could be injectors, valves, fouled spark plug, who knows).
I wish the CA Lemon Law applied here because this bike SUCKS and Robinson doesn’t give a crap.

I had been called by a friend of mine who was interested in a HARLEY DAVIDSON GOLD WING.
He lives about 70 miles from the shop and wanted me to check it out for him, because I live a lot closer.
I spoke with the owner John via telephone who answered all of my questions and I set up an appointment for the next day.
I drove to the shop and John’s wife was there and gave me a hassle free environment and I had free excess to the bike. I took over 60 photos and and checked out the bike really good. No issues what so ever.
I forwarded the pictures and info to my friend and over the course of the next few days my friend had a hassle free experience and purchased the bike.
The store had a lot of quality bikes and it was a positive experience all the way around. Really nice pre-​owned bikes…
