R & S Towing

I called this tow company because the Chevy dealer uses them. I called and explained I had a truck and a boat that needed towing. I was quoted $ 120.00 show up fee and $ 6.00 a mile. I verified it was for both. This would have come out to $ 240.00.
My insurance would pay for the truck to be towed, but not the boat. They were both towed at the same time to the same place. So instead of paying an additional $ 60.00 for the boat «show up fee», they gouged me for $ 186.00! I basically paid $ 12.00 a mile, plus the $ 60.00 show up fee. They ripped me off. I would think twice. I guess they figure they can rip off out of towners and no one will be the wiser. Some day they will figure out we have something called the internet!
All that being said… they showed relatively quickly, with the right equipment and the driver knew what he was doing. He turned too tight and scuffed up the trailer tires and broke off my wide load flag, but other than that nothing else was damaged.

Great service and Randy was professional and a nice friendly face when he showed up to tow my car within a ½ hour!!! The whole process took about an hour from when I called my Roadside Service through my insurance to my car towed and handing me back the keys.
Having car trouble can be stressful and this company was a great experience compared to the week before when I used ASAP Towing and they took nearly two hours to just find our car on the side of the highway.
If I break down again (knock on wood) I will request R&S Towing and recommended that GIECO use them as a first priority too!

Horrible service!!! They are RUDE and over charge. They round up and charged us 1.5 hours for a 10 mile tow. Unbelievable… Do not use!!!

If I could click ZERO STARS as a rating, I would. They will fraudulently overcharge your credit card, their employees and management are the most awful human beings you’ll ever deal with, and their service is horrendous. The five-​star rating on this page from «Jason H.» is from a friend, not a customer. Don’t believe it. Trust me, and go elsewhere. These are not folks that you want to be doing business with.

We have used them quite a bit through AAA over the last few years and have have excellent service. Their drivers have always arrived in a timely manner, very helpful (our truck had to be pushed fro backyard to the tow truck) and also friendly. However our last tow just a couple weeks ago our driver was not having such a great time it seemed as he was a bit rude and seemed in a hurry. Still the job got done quickly and I feel he was an exception, not the rule.
