OMG! Nails & Spa

What a clusterf**k…2 of us did a walk in yesterday afternoon for a pedicure, and were assured they could accommodate us, sat us next to each other and I proceeded to wait for almost an hour while they did my friends pedicure. About 5 minutes before they were done on his feet, they finally started mine. What pissed me off was they kept coming by every few minutes and saying, «one more minute… sorry, sorry». hAving never been there before, I guarantee you we will never be going back. The lady running around like an idiot needs to learn to say no to customers, she kept taking more in, and telling everyone «yes, we can get you in»…and I felt terrible for the girls who are doing the nails. In the 2 hours we were there, none of them got any sort of break, they literally have chairs with wheels on them and roll from one customer to the next. Sad to witness. They were overpriced for what we got. Two thumbs down…

I went to omg a couple of days ago and let’s just say I won’t be going there anymore. The guy who did my nails did a really crappy job. My nails are not the same length, they are crooked, they looked deformed and to top it off they look like I need a refill. I had told the guy to fix it and he insisted my nails looked fine. Not worth the money at all, and they’re supposedly the best… this isn’t it, I had gone before to get a pedi and they ended up cutting me. My mother and hubby went for a pedi and they got cut badly on the bottom of their feet with a cuticle cuter. This place is just bad. If I could put a picture on here to proof my nails I would.

I had my eyebrows done and mine are very thin so there’s not much to do but I am pleased with how they turned out. I’m am very, very pleased with my eyelash extensions, this was a new experience for me as I’ve never worn lashes and I love the way they turned out. The technician who assisted me was Cindy and I asked a lot of questions and she graciously took her time and answered and made me very comfortable during the entire process. My husband also got a mani/​pedi and he said his service was okay however he had a different technician. I would recommend this place it was clean and in a convenient location.

I have been going to OMG Nails & Spa for about 3 years. Nancy, owner, is Awesome! I got my eyebrows done Saturday and man they look fabulous! Nancy does a great job! I love the new location, 2 doors down from previous spot. It’s bright, staff are great and service is very pleasant. If you want great service with a smile, a pedicure while sitting in a very comfy massage chair, a manicure, or eyebrows done, then you must go by and check out my friend Nancy and her staff at OMG Nails & Spa!

I’ve been to OMG Nails over 50 times in the past three years. It has consistently become worse and worse over the past year. I had a gel manicure last week that looked like my 9 year old niece could have done a better job. I came back a week later to «step my game up» and didn’t complain regardless of the $ 25 I just spent at the store 6 days prior. I asked for acrylic and was told $ 35. That is a steep price, but I agreed. I then asked for French manicure instead and was told that would be $ 45. That’s a crock! I went back to the original decision of just acrylic and they didn’t even give me tips. Just plain acrylic on top of my original length of nails (short as hell I might add). I went there to make myself feel better and try to look better. I left more angry than ever with $ 39 dollars lost. I aim to emphasis pride in my work. There isn’t a person in the nail industry that would be proud of what my nails look like. I get to walk around with «bubble nails» for the next 48 hours before I can get an appointment with a different business too fix this mess. I couldn’t bring myself to complain at the store, but I’m over this subpar, inconsistency priced BS that is a constant issue at this location. They will continue to lose business until they hire well trained, capable and willing employees to offer quality service. What a joke! I then called the store to ask their prices and was told a COMPLETELY different list of prices for the same services I had just inquired about while at the store. This is simply unethical. Have a conscious. Train your staff with applicable pricing.

I’ve been coming here for a few years. They are very professional, the shop is very clean, reasonably priced. They are usually pretty efficient and get me in and out in an hour for mani/​pedi.

Absolutely great. My manicure was done the right way using gel and is flawless in my opinion, and I love how they have been keeping my brows waxed just right and looking good for months. Anywhere else I go people don’t always know what to do with my brows, but here its different and I love it.

Been coming here for several years. I like that the staff are consistent, for the most part the same workers over the years. I never have to wait long, but I suspect it’s cause I’m a really good tipper, don’t want anything fancy and ready going. I just get the regular pedicure and gel nails all natural. Nancy is great with nails and eyebrows. Hannah is great at eyebrows and pedicures.
Be prepared to pay cash or they will get you on card charges. I always bring my headphones and watch a movie on my phone (no free WiFi) because they talk really loud and usually only to each other. Contrary to what many believe, they aren’t talking about the customers. They are usually taking about men, casinos and food.
Occasionally they go on an loosely designed marketing campaign, like a survey or offer a punchcard for visits. But don’t expect these to last. They act like you are crazy if you walk in expecting your 12^th service to be free. One day they had a computer checkout system to track services and supposedly to email coupons. But the next month it was gone and no one seemed to know anything about it. That’s just weird!

Clean cute chic and classy! That’s how I would describe OMG nails. I’ve been going here for a little over a year if it’s New Years Eve and I want to be dazzled up or if I have a Corporate conservative event OMG Nails and all of their staff have always been able to accommodate my various looks. They recently updated and moved to a larger area in the same shopping center it’s ‘s a good change. I always feel relaxed when I come for my service and the girls are respectful and speak English around the customers.

Everytime I come here I get the best service nancy is is the best she always knows what I want always give me the best ideas does the cutest toes this side of the Mississippi I recommend this place very highly anytime any of my family and friends are here I bring them here to get her toes done before we go to the beach

Walked in & didn’t even realize the karate place was gone & they took over! Their salon looks really nice & clean. All their tools were new. I gave this place 3 stars because they’re really pricey for the service they give you. They have different pedicures to choose from and they’re all from $ 23 – 40 & all you get is a basic pedicure. Nothing special. I chose #1 which was the skin exfoliate. She just massaged me with sea salt. The ladies here are really sweet but she didn’t cut my cuticles all the way. And she kept cutting the sides of my nails like she was cutting off an ingrown? I didn’t like that. She focused so much on the sides she didn’t cut off my cuticles. The lady doing my toes asked me if I wanted her to cut them shorter & I said yes. She didn’t even cut them… She filed them down but they were still long. I’m really observant when it comes to nails and my French manicure was really thick and a bit off, on top of that my TOE NAILS WERE LONG. So I didn’t like it at all. I went home and cut my toe nails. Would have definitely been worth $ 25 – 30 but I paid $ 43…
On the other hand my friend got a fill and they did her nails long, square with a pretty nude color. A man did her nails, but he cut her with the nail file.

Came in on Sunday, not very busy. Got my manicure done with Tony the one w/​the mustache. He was very gentle and took his time. I had 3 broken nails, he suggested acrilic w/​gel on top. At the end I love them. Will be there every 2 to 3 wks.

I went in on Sunday and they were so rude, worst customer service, I came in asked for a nail to be fixed and they pretty much laughed in my face and said they couldn’t take in because they where busy and there was only 3 customers in. They where really rude take your money and time elsewhere, not to mention it’s overpriced … Visit crystal nails they are super friendly and not expensive

Hello Everyone!
I really tried to like this place. It’s very close to my house and with lil ones that’s convenient not to waste any time including traveling time. The first time I went to OMG I had a Gel mani and regular spa pedi. The gel mani was horrible the nail tech didn’t apply enough coats of color it was not opaque and missed the sides of my nails. I was very unhappy but I do not like confrontation. I just thought to myself it’s better than what I came in with… kind of lol. Then on the 3^rd day of freshly manicured nails 3 nails chipped. This is gel people they shouldn’t chip so quickly. I waited two weeks decided to go back to give them a second. I made sure to tell them about my previous experience. I had my services I felt better about everything then in the middle of being pampered this woman starts shouting at a nail tech that she is doing everything wrong not cleaning her feet right talking to her coworker not paying attention. If that wasn’t a sign for me to get up and leave I don’t know what is haha. I paid, left happy with my nails then the 4 th day arrives and my thumb nails start chipping. I guess I have to go back to Chula Vista pay half the amount of money, drive longer. I used to pay $ 15 lasted up to 3 weeks drive 30 mins and here its $ 25 and doesn’t last.

Hello everyone, I gave OMG a second chance and boy I don’t regret it. Service was great and I was very pleased with ending result and the friendly service.
I will be coming here next time :)

Chairs are very uncomfortable. The backs have zero support and The massage function is weak.
Prices are way too high. They have different prices I. the board than the sheet they handed me.
Polish is old. The color i chose was thick and sticky. They had to put polish remover in the bottle to thin it out.
English is horrible… i asked to adjust the chair 3 times and the guy just stood there and staired at me.
The leg and foot massage was bad and left much to be desired.
I definitely won’t be coming back here again.

Very nice and professional place. I’m pleased with the service. The spa is very clean and workers make sure to do just what you like. Plus it’s close to my house.

This was rough.
The first time I came here, I asked for a gel manicure and instead was convinced to get a full set. It turned out nice but I wasn’t a huge fan of someone trying to persuade me to get something I didn’t come in for.
I tried it again today. Maybe they were just having a rough day, but I’m probably never going back. The technician I had didn’t clean my cuticles and didn’t file my nails to an even length. Then she asked me to change my color twice. After putting on and taking off bottom coats, John finally came over (the tech I requested but never got) he ended up fixing everything and tried to make my experience pleasant which was nice. When I was done, I got up to pay and decided to pay with my card because I wasn’t in the mood for tipping. The lady at the front says to me «well if you’re not gonna tip, can you at least write the total» I was done at that point. I feel bad because the tech was very apologetic. But this is the last time I’ll come here.

I came in on a Friday 5÷8÷15
I have seen this place for a while but never gone in. Recently I tried a different «cheaper» place in the area and it was NOT A good experience.
Anyways today I walked in about 530 and they were full I anticipated a wait but was sat in a pedicure chair immediately.
The service was great
The attention to detail (my toes were LONG over due) was excellent!
Manicure and pedicure were great! A lil more than I wanted to pay but worth every penny!
