Island Dancers of San Diego

Entertaining.
I hired Amber and her dance group for my daughter’s after wedding luau. She was very professional and kept in touch until our event.
She offered to bring 2 other dancers but she brought more than promised and it made for a great variety of dances. I requested only upbeat, fast tempo dances and she delivered. In addition, she gave some background on the dances. The costumes were vibrant, colorful and appropriate for each dance. Her group performed as a group, as a duet and there was even a solo performance.
My family and I just returned from Hawaii and we watched professional hula dancers at a luau. Although this group was not up to that level (very hard to beat/​match unless you do this 8-​hours a day, 5 days a week), it was fine for the price and our event.

Amber and her two dancers were great! We hired them for our daughter’s 11^th luau-​themed birthday party. There were several different styles of dances that they performed, all with different costumes, plus a few words about the background of these dances. After the performance, they taught the girls several dances, so we all learned something, too! The price was excellent, and Amber and her team were professional. Couldn’t be happier!
