The worst place I have ever lived. I was suckered in by the manager Georgette when I needed a new home as she acted very nice and kind during the tour of the apartment. Shortly after I moved in everything turned to hell. She didn’t honor my wife’s emotional support animal paperwork from our doctor in LA (which is illegal) so I had to make an appointment with my local doctor and get one which was a hassle. She tells all dog owner that they will be fined 50 dollars if found not picking up after there dog OUTSIDE the property when she herself never picks up after he own ankle biter. She is beyond terrible. You will never get your security deposit back! The other reviews do not lie!!! DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE!!!

PROS: Good supermarket across the street and church a block away. Ceasar’s pizza a block away as well as nail place and other stores. They pay for your gas. They allow animals for a fee and pet rent. If something breaks they do come and fix it.
CONS: Georgette is rude to vendors (such as cable people) and she is greedy. The complex units are very close together so even if you window is closed, you can still hear people outside and also next door. There is a lot of noisy children that always play outside. The neighborhood outside the complex is not the best. The pool is dirty. The parking street is terrible, it has caused a lot of damage to my tires to the point that i had to change them. Georgette will charge for stupid things when you move out. VERY slow internet.
Lived there for about a year. If you work at night it’s impossible to sleep during the day with such loud children outside when the weather is hot and the window needs to be open. At the time we lived there, there was also a very strong weed smell every night and my husband is in the military, so if by accident he was to inhale any illegal substance he would be thrown out.
A lot of dirt comes in from the window due to the parking street because there is no real road, it’s all dusty and broken– terrible for the tires.
If you’re a gamer, or if you like fast internet in general, this place is the worst. We tried to change companies and Georgette shut us down in the attempt. She claimed that COX is the only company that the complex could use because other companies would drill holes and the water would cause damage the property. She was extremely rude to the cable guy, and so was the other lady that works with her (not the young one, she barely has any idea of what’s going on).
Two times I went inside the pool, both times i got a UTI.
When it was time to check out, Georgette came and meticulously looked for little things to charge us. We took great care of the paint and the floors… yet she still charged us for paint because there were TWO holes on the wall. So for TWO holes she claimed the whole apartment had to be painted. She bent over and looked at the floors from every angle and claimed they were damaged.
I would suggest you keep looking around, unless you are broke and desperate to move like we were. Good luck.

I would not rent here. They don’t want to tell you before hand whether or not you will qualify to rent a unit. They just want the fee money. Charged me the fee for co tenant application even after I told her they had zero credit. And that georgette is pushy woman. Insisted I fill out the app right then (so she could collect the fee I’m sure) then called me twice in the next two hours to get my co tenants app done on line claiming there were others who would get the apt. Funny the apt is still available. Don’t rent here. Try next door or down the block where they are honest.

I’ve been living here about a month now and I really love it. The manager Georgette has been so accommodating to me! When we did the walk through there were a bunch of things that needed to be fixed and they were done the next day. I’ve had a couple small problems and again fixed within 24 hours! I wanted to use a fridge I already had and I was able to do that, they removed the one that was already in here. The complex is so quiet and everyone is really nice. It’s beautiful here too it’s like living in a garden! Especially the pool. My only problem is the parking. But there’s nothing that can be done about that now and I knew about it before signing. I needed to move in asap and I was able to without a problem.

worst place to live EVER! the manager Georgetta is nothing but a lying B****. we had nothing but issues since we moved out here from Nebraska. My husband is in the military so we have lived in quite a few different apartments so I am quite familiar on how things «typically» go. In December of 2013 my husband and I took a trip to Nebraska for our wedding ceremony and we ended up buying a puppy. When we came back my husband told one of employees working there that we had gotten another dog when he turned in our rent check and she said ok. That was it. A few months later Georgetta then stated that our dog was too big for our apartment and we needed to get rid of him. I asked her what the weight limit was and she said 25lbs and I told her he is 26 lbs and we can weigh him to prove it (which we did). She then said we needed to pay another pet deposit of $ 400 and we should have told her. I explained to her that we did tell the short gal working in the office when we paid our rent and she never told us that.
The other issue we had with her is in April of 2014. My husband got off work around 5:30 pm april 3^rd and went to the office to pay the rent. No one was in the office and it was locked so he put the rent check in the rent box. Georgetta said we needed to pay a $ 25 late fee because they did not get it until April 4^th. I explained to her that it was in the office by april 3^rd like it was supposed to be so it was not late. She still charged us the fee.
The other issue we had with her was when we were moving out. She said if we cleaned the apartment and she checked it over and it was fine would wouldnt get charged for cleaning. Well i cleaned everything and scrubbed everything. She looked through the apartment and said «you actually did a good job.» She signed a paper saying the only thing we were going to get charged for for was painting for $ 120. When we got the deposit in the mail she took out money for cleaning for the floor and a bunch of other little things adding up to $ 500. When i called her about the issue she stated that i never came back and cleaned the floor. Which i did and she even looked at it. She said she wasnt going to argue with me and that i was not getting the money back.
The other issue we had was when we broke our lease. In January 2014 we wanted to get out of our lease she told us we would have to pay $ 2000 to not get penalized for it. So we decided to wait. Well after a few other little issues we decided we could not live there anymore. So in May I called her and told her we wanted to brake our lease and pay the $ 2000. She said that since we lived at our apartments for more than 7 months we only had to pay $ 1000 now. so in may we had to pay for the month of june and the lease break fee of $ 1000. When we got the deposit back she had took out $ 85 saying we had to pay $ 1085 for breaking the lease not just $ 1000. If that was the case and amount all along we wouldnt have broke the lease, because we only had until july 31 until our lease was up. So another words she made us pay for another month of rent on our last month so we got screwed out of that rent.

I’ve been here for 4 months and it’s the WORST mistake my boyfriend and I have made. The landlord is beyond terrible. When she showed us around she failed to mention the dumpster gets picked up at least 3 times a week!!! And those lovely dumpsters are right outside our apartment so we get woken up constantly at 6am. Also, the landlord, Georgette, promised us a new fridge before move in… we still don’t have a new fridge. The one we’ve been dealing with is now leaking. When we mentioned it again to her she sent someone to «fix» it and by fix all he did was put a tray underneath to catch the leak. I am tired of this place and my next step is to speak to her main manager.
If you’re thinking of moving in here, don’t. Or if you do you better make sure that your apartment isn’t on the dumpster side.

Been Living her for 5 months now and I must say aside from the scarce guest parking I have no complaints. The community is safe and quiet. The manager Georgette is very accommodating. There is alot of space in the apartments. I wish the washer and dryer was in the unit but hey I knew that from the beginning. As far as location is concerned there are alot of good restaurants, groceries stores and liqueur stores within walking distance. You do have to travel 10 minutes for target and costco in la mesa. I recommend it
