This place has excellent food! Great sandwiches and soup. Only setback is the area of location — right off the 94, is very busy road and sometimes parking sucks. But, if you’re hungry for a sandwich, it’s much better than Subway or Submarina.

This place is very friendly. Above par sandwiches that are one of the best in all of east county. Family owned and operated and you really feel it when you are there. Definitely recommend stopping by Bravos.

I’ve been coming to this place since i attended Steele canyon back in 2006, and it hasn’t changed a bit, because it doesn’t have too. Their sandwiches and soup combos are the bomb, smoothies and shakes are epic, and the owner greets me by name and shakes my hand every time I walk in. Family run business that provides a great sandwich shop for the locals. Keep being awesome.

In a world of foot longs that come up an inch short(I’m looking at you subway) this place delivers great food for an exceptional value. The breakfast sandwiches are loaded with eggs and piles of bacon or sausage and can easily feed two people. No precooked eggs(*cough… Starbucks… cough*) microwaved just for you, or the ones folded over themselves into a perfect square(seriously fast food places, how much science does it take for you to do that?) the eggs are cracked fresh and cooked to order. You’re not going to get smoked pulled pork hash with artisan Gouda cheese on ciabatta bread here, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but this is just not that kind of joint. You will get honest food prepared by honest people. Pick any sandwich on the menu and stand by for a heavy roll. You will have two choices, save half for later or bring a friend because these things are no joke. They remind me of something I’d make at home only they’re bigger and better. The deli meats taste fresh and of high quality, the vegetables were clearly cut in house and not poured out of a bag, and the bread is always fresh. If you’re not a local you’re probably never going to find it, but if you find yourself in the area, look across from the 7 – 11 and you’ll see it. If you’re from here, it’s convenient as you head in to town, grab breakfast and lunch in one quick stop and you won’t be disappointed, except for maybe by the coffee. It’s the best coffee shop in Jamul, but that’s because it’s the only coffee shop in Jamul. It’s still better than 7 – 11 coffee, but it’s just not great, but I confess to being a coffee snob, so I don’t hold it against them… The food is good and family that runs the place make it great. So next time you’re out for a ride on your crotch rocket, hog, or peddler stop in and support a local business instead of just riding through!

Such a nice little café here in Jamul. I go here everytime I want a sandwich. It can be a bit pricey, in my opinion, but it is worth all your money. The sandwiches are always filling. Shakes are also filling and its just very smooth, unlike some which can be very thick that you have to wait to suck its contents up through a straw. They have a nice assortment of tea bags to go with the breakfast croissant sandwiches, and a nice assortment of chips to go with the sandwiches, but personally, I go to 7 – 11 across the street to get chips since Bravos doesn’t have the flavor of chips I like. Service is nice and genuine, like a home. Recommend going here at least once to try out if you’re in the area. Some local high school kids, including myself, go here whenever there is an event happening. Its completely worth it!

What can I say that hasn’t been said already. The café is off Campo road and the dine in is quaint. I took this order to go and didnt have to wait too long for my meal. This place is fantastic, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. I had the brisket and my wife had the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The brisket was tender and full of flavor. It was served on a fresh French roll with onions, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. The vegetables were very fresh. The Caesar salad was huge and didn’t look like the typical run of the mill salads you get at other restaurants, but instead it looked very unique. It had huge slices of chicken with cucumbers, and tomato slices. The onions were sliced thin and ad gourmet, flavorful croutons. It was topped with a light parmesean. It was served with 2 Newman’s Own creamy Caesar dressing packets to go. It was served with 3 slices of soft French bread. The potato salad was creamy and like everything else on their menu was scrumptious. Also had the peanut butter milkshake, and as the many other reviewers state, this is probably the best thing on the menu.

This place is LEGIT. 5 – 8 dollars per plate, depending on what you get. but you get a HUGE portion of food. i got the three eggs. it comes with hash browns(i think 2 or 3 or 4 maybe) four pieces of toast, an asston of bacon, i really forget since it was so good i just devoured it. super tasty. also try their shakes, out of control. so good. its really quick too. i think we waited about 5 – 10 minutes max and they are super friendly. make sure you ask for their menu because everything isnt listed on their menu that is posted right when you walk in. awesome. im going back next week. not this week since i dont wanna get fat.(shit who am i kidding im going back tomarrow morning) lol. its so good, its worth the 25 minute drive from eastlake just to get it. wish i took a picture of my food but i was so excited to eat it, it was all gone within minutes. out the door, with a three egg platter, a two egg platter, and two shakes, 20 bucks. unreal in san diego. i love their prices, portions, and quality. its real hard to find all that here. dont change a thing!

Thought I try this place due to all of the five star reviews. The people there are friendly and the sandwiches are good. They are huge relative to the prices. I tried the Turkey, BLT, Tuna and Pastrami sandwiches there. Half sandwiches are the size of a regular sandwich. My favorites are the BLT and Pastrami.

You honestly can’t make a bad decision when ordering here. I always get a half tuna sandwich with a bowl of the soup of the day. They make their soups each morning and you can truly taste love in everything they make. I come home from college to visit family and make it a point to come get a delicious sandwich from the place that I loved throughout high school so much

It’s only 95 degrees outside but you take 2 steps from the parking lot and your inside ready to order. Today was my first time here. Well actually 2nd since Unilocal says they are opened Sundays(they are CLOSED Sundays). I stopped by to pick up lunch to go. Did not order ahead of time just browsed the menu board looking for a classic turkey on sourdough and an Italian sub for hub. And a Greek salad for dinner. Holy moly these portions are enormous and so filling. The homemade dressing was perfect along with their breads. I didn’t haven’t to make dinner and hub was full. Next time I want to try their peanut butter milkshake, their homemade soup of the day, and a frap with a muffin but I’m sure my hub will start from the top of the menu and work his way down. Everything looks so amazing. The place is very small, super casual, and has paintings on the wall for sale by local artist. My new go to deli sandwich spot. The sweet lady at the front was so informative and helpful. We will totally be back here!

Don’t let the looks of this place fool you, it has very amazing fresh food! Their good varieties include sandwiches, salads, smoothies, shakes, muffins/pastries, and coffee. I ordered a few things to share with friends: one mango smoothie, strawberry banana smoothie, blended chai tea, and Greek salad. The salad came with almost a loaf of bread! It was so fresh! All the drinks were great and I definitely recommend the blended chai tea! So yummy! The prices were spot on and I definitely felt like I was getting my money’s worth. Also the service was very friendly. I believe it’s family owned because it seemed like a family was working and they all greeted me and asked how I was doing. Loved the hospitality. I work right down the road so I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going here for years. The team always has a smile on their face. They always answer quickly when I call in for carry out. The food portions are ginormous for the price. All around amazing family owned café. All of their food is fresh and made to order so if you walk in hungry be prepared to be patient for the artists in the kitchen to take their time to do it right. My favorites are their chicken salad w/house dressing. The bread that comes with is so scrumptious! Also their BBQ pork sandwich. Yum! And you can never go wrong with smoothie in the heat of summer. Can’t say enough about this special place.

I absolutely love this place. The food is great — generous portions and fresh ingredients. Their Greek Salad is just perfect. Its a great break from the fast food down in Rancho San Diego. The family who runs the shop is very nice. Can’t beat the customer service and product.

Amazing little café. I went to this place randomly for some breakfast and it was amazing. The portions are amazingly huge. I thought they were giving me special treatment, but sadly I found out their portions are just huge. But big portions doesn’t mean good food, but this place takes the cake and actually does have great tasting food. I’ve repeatedly been back and my favorite to date has to be the breakfast burrito. Drop by this place for great food and great portions at a great price.

I was a little skeptical of a place with five whole stars after 45 reviews, but we stopped in for breakfast and saw why. The food and service was outstanding. The breakfast burrito with bacon, ham, and sausage was perfect!

Breakfast croissant w eggs, cheese, & sausage. This is a very chill spot in Jamul. It is old school in here, no fancy digital menus. The menu is on a plastic board with the push in lettering. It’s vintage, I haven’t seen many places with that style board lately. Any-woo, their menu selection is decent. Different sandwiches, coffees, smoothies, & shakes. My breakfast croissant was very tasty. I took it to go and it was still piping hot when I got to my house about 5 minutes away. There is a nice size room with tables so you can enjoy your meal there. I’ll be by again to try a lunch sandwich.
