History
Established in 1992.
Known as «The Singing Teacher,» Jeannie Ross founded Bright and Busy Gifted School in 1992 where bright children as young as 2 ½ years of age learned to read using her unique musical methods. In her extensive 20 years of classroom teaching experience, Jeannie has been distinguished for having the «best K-3 Special Day classroom of its kind,» and administrators routinely sent regular teachers to her class to observe her highly effective style of teaching. «Students with disabilities quickly progressed to work on grade level.» In 2009, Best San Diego Reading Tutor for Young Children offers parents the ability to have their child work with Jeannie in a one-to-one tutoring setting, where children progress at an extremely fast pace and every child will learn to read.

Many children who are hands-on or whole-body learners are unable to access educational information as it is presented in a traditional school setting. As an Education Specialist, Jeannie is familiar with assessing learning styles and developing a program that is uniquely suited to each individual student who struggles with learning to read. Jeannie teaches very explicitly so her students completely understand everything they are taught.
