DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES!!!
Nearly 1 year and still trying to get my money back, Eric sold me a motor which did not even last 2 months. They promised to guarantee a warranty repair for the blown motor and which I even shipped back to them in my expense. 1 months after they have received the engine they kept telling me they were waiting on a new piston rod and were awaiting the motor assembly.
Months passed and I hear nothing from them, they have started to ignore my phone calls and ignore my email’s so I decided to report them to the BBB which then they finally replied back to them saying they shipped out the motor but with no proof. the BBB case has been listed unresolved even till now and they have even been dodging the District attorney general of consumer report for the state of Washington. I’m currently still in the process of getting this resolved I paid $ 1200 for a bad engine and now they have kept the bad engine and kept my money.

I found Discount Auto on Craigslist and have not taken any of my cars to another mechanic since. Eric is always professional, timely and what I appreciate the most– honest. He never once has tried to sell me a service I didn’t need, and he usually saves me money from what the original estimate was. He has worked on my wife’s Jaguar, my Ford truck, my son’s Honda and my other son’s Jeep, and always gets them running at the lowest price. I would highly recommend Eric and his crew.

I discovered Discount Auto through a Groupon for an oil change. I later used them to replace my rear brake pads. As the brake pads were being replaced, Erik (owner?) discovered that my calipers were seized, and it would be impossible to replace the brake pads without replacing the calipers as well — bringing my total bill from $ 90 to $ 500 in a matter of seconds. Of course, I had no choice but to say go for it.
As a 20-​something single white female who knows almost nothing about cars, I’m a prime money-​maker for crooked mechanics. When Erik finished his work, I was informed that even though I had given my OK to have the new calipers installed, he made a serious effort to fix the calipers, and was able to un-​seize them, and said they probably wouldn’t seize again, and I wouldn’t have buy new ones. Hallelujah!
This is the kind of integrity that is not found in many auto shops. Discount Auto has earned a loyal customer in me. They have been honest, transparent, communicative, and shown that they care about my bottom line.
