We are a craft brewery located in Spicewood, TX — Just West of Weird! We brew great tasting beer for your enjoyment.

Our mission is simple and is summed up in this description of our relationship with beer: Beer is an old friend, a new love, a daring adventure, a celebration of special events, a bonding moment, a refresher on a hot day or a hearty feast on a cold one. We brew our beers to fit like your favorite pair of jeans.

Like mom’s home cooking, Solid Rock Brewing’s recipes are simple, tasty and nostalgically remembered for their comfort and quality. Each of our ales are brewed minimally with quality ingredients appropriate to each style. Great, comfortable beers.

Come out to see us! The tap room is open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Try our beers and take a tour of the brewery. We typically feature live music and food.

History

Established in 2011.

We all liked beer & we had all been brewers, but to take the next step to create a brewery meant locking horns with the beast of commerce; business plans, spreadsheets, fund raising & laborious hours creating & shaping. From that point we started two parallel tracks brew, brew, brew & build a business.

It is an interesting thing to parent a company. To watch it grow & develop its personality & to become its own entity apart from the founders. We’ve had a number of serendipitous moments, even if it took awhile to recognize them after the fact. We learned a lot about ourselves. Most importantly, what we value in a beer. With careful attention we have infused that into our beer designs & into the fabric of Solid Rock Brewing. We brew beers we can share with our friends. Sessionable, comfortable beers with flavor we can enjoy together on the back porch. Nothing makes us happier than to see our friends enjoying our beers.
