I have to downgrade from 5 to 3 stars. The reason is I just want chocolate yogurt. For a long time, maybe a year, I don’t know, they have not had chocolate yogurt at any location. Any time I asked, the employees said there’s custard. The custard is the bomb, but it’s so rich I can’t do a whole cup of it. I’ve avoided what was my favorite yogurt shop once it became clear this was not a temporary situation. Today I tried again after a long absence. There are 14 taps, one out of order and the only chocolate to be had is a new flavor, Thin Mint Cookie. Because chocolate is my only flavor I get a small serving. The flavor lacks the good chocolate flavor that I’ve had here and the mint part is not that great. Not the best flavor they could have made, it’s like it’s too sweet or something, a bit ice-​y and lacking that yogurt flavor I expect. Halfway through my cup, they bring back the off duty tap with the chocolate custard, that would have been much preferred. Bring back some plain old chocolate yogurt and you’ll be my favorite again and get your 5 stars back.

Yogurt Beach has been our best shop in the neighborhood. Love the fruit toppings. Employees are always welcoming. Love the community fundraisers they host for various local agencies.

Yogurt Beach is the spot! When I eat here I don’t feel bogged down like I do at times after eating ice cream. They have a variety of frozen yogurt flavors to choose from and tons of toppings too. Their staff is friendly as well.

Yogurt beach is definitely my favorite place for a sweet treat during the day. The shop is colorful and their decoration is really cute. Their yogurts are really good! They have traditional flavors like vanilla, tartar and chocolate but they also have seasonal flavors. Something really cool about this place is that they have at least a SUGAR FREE flavor. I think that’s awesome for people like me that is always trying to diet! I really like the service in this place; the staff is friendly and very helpful. They offer you samples of the yogurts. They always ask if you have your stamp card. After you buy 9 frozen yogurts your 10^th is free. But what I really love from this place is their toppings! They have everything! Fruits, cereal, any syrup you can think of, candy and my favorite cheesecake bites. So a cool place to hang out, friendly people, a delicious frozen yogurt with the best toppings in town! Can’t get any better!

I’m addicted to this place. The flavors are great but what makes this place really shine are the endless toppings.

Just alright for me. Visiting this area I wanted to try a new place while on vacay. The flavors we’re so-so…tried multiple samples as served by staff. I didn’t care for that at all. Would prefer to get my own sample from the machine and take my time deciding on a flavor rather than someone staring at me while I decide. I ended up swirling chocolate and vanilla. Both flavors very sweet and heavy. Felt like a stuffed pig afterwards. Think I swirled a little too much. I have many yogurt places to compare YB to and for me this didn’t stack up to others I’ve been to. Also felt some of the toppings should have been better kept chilled than set out at room temp. Prices a little steep per ounce. So all in all not terrible just ok.

Love this place. Taste is great. Clean every time we are there. Fruit is fresh looking and tastes great.

Hands down my favorite frozen yogurt in town. Always have a varity of great flavors and too many toppings to chose from.

Since the last time I reviewed Yogurt Beach, I had to go Gluten Free (on 10/​10/​2012). I actually have a rather severe intolerance and get sick if I eat gluten, BUT all is well when I go to Yogurt Beach! ;) Several (most, I believe) of their flavors are Gluten Free! They have them clearly labeled at this particular Yogurt Beach, too. I’m not sure if any of the toppings are labeled gluten free, but they do have some yummy fresh fruit. You just need to consider if there may have been some cross-​contamination, if that is an issue for you. We still go here often and love it every time!

Yogurt Beach offers a great selection of yogurt and their staff is very friendly. Currently (January 2015) the prices are $ 0.42/ounce so it is pretty reasonable. I like that their toppings are always fresh and the place is always clean.
My favorite yogurt combination is blackberry and cake batter with fruit toppings. If you are a first time visitor to Yogurt Beach, or if you just don’t know quite what you want, be sure to ask to sample different flavors. I have never had a bad experience at Yogurt Beach.

Yummy! Lots of flavors and toppings to choose from. We love going there and sitting outside in the summer. The staff is always super friendly and patient, even when we’ve gone in with groups of wild and indecisive children.

YUM ! This is my favorite treat place ! ! They have lots of flavored to choose from and periodically switch them up. Their toppings are fresh and there’s sooo much to choose ! They are a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

ALOHA! Always welcomed by the staff, this place is a really «cool» treat any time of the year. With about 14 flavors to choose from (which some rotate through to different flavors on occasion) you are bound to find something that tickles your taste buds. And that’s only the beginning as you can top your frozen yogurt with about 50 different toppings… some healthier than others but what the heck, you’re there to have a little (or a lot) of fun. Some of the flavors are non-​fat, low-​fat and gluten free. I personally am a glutton for gluten-​free Madagascar Vanilla. Not because I need to be gluten-​free, but because it’s delicious and mixes well with my toppings, which are not gluten-​free! The beach music, surfboard tables and lawn chairs outsides make Yogurt Beach a great place to sit and enjoy with the family. Great location too although ironically there are two dentistry offices within a stone’s throw… just in case you get a little too greedy with the toppings. But hey, it’s delicious so why not indulge a little?! Rumor has it that you can take your cup and toppings and they will mix it into a shake for you… hmmmm…Pricing is fair too (around 42 cents/​ounce) and if you get your punch card you get one free after 12 I think… which seems easy to go through! Pick up your plastic spoon, throw down some yogurt and leave with a smile!

I’m a HUGE fan of this place. The best yogurt & fresh toppings ever. I love the combo of Root Beer Float & Watermelon sherbet. Excellent. I find myself riding my bike that way a few times a week.

Amazing yogurt and custards. Toppings are top quality and their are unlimited choices. Clean and cute. The employees are really nice too. Kind of pricey though compared to yogurt in LA.

MMMMMMM… all I can say. Frozen yogurt is awesome and Yogurt Beach always has a huge verity in the flavor and are constantly changing it up. I am a big fan of the oatmeal flavored, but they are not having that again until July! This visit I got the new peanut butter flavor with kiwi, mangos, and dark chocolate chips for my husband and I to share. It was delicious!
Some friends, my husband and I decided to come here for a late night desert and appreciate the late summer hours! Open till 11! The staff are always so friendly asking right away if there is anything we want to try! We played Cards Against Humanity in the shop while enjoying our delicious frozen yogurt and the staff just smiled as they worked. It is such a nice atmosphere, as I have said many times, I will keep coming back in!

Yogurt beach is one of the better frozen yogurt places that I’ve tried in the Reno/​Sparks area. The place is clean. They have new flavors all the time. The topping selection is great and they have a lot of fruit toppings. The price per oz. seems to be right on par with most other places. The seating is fairly limited so I usually get mine to go. The location is close to my house so its not melted when I get home. The staff is usually pretty nice but most times they are very busy.

The kids and I love going to yogurt beach! They always have delicious yogurt and a bunch if toppings to choose from. The people are always friendly and they never seem annoyed when you ask for samples. They are always wiping down the topping area so it stays clean. The place is always busy and sometimes they don’t get to wiping down the tables fast enough. All in all we love this place and will continue to come here often!
