Walmart Supercenter

Walmart sucks. It’s a massive store of cheapo stuff. Not to mention how they treat their employees. Rarely do I find someone that can help me. Doing any professional business with them is frustrating. All I hear is «it’s our policy».

I really really hate going to superstores like this but I have to say this isn’t the worst I have ever been to. However with that being said I do have some concerns, the staff here always seems really angry I almost don’t want to approach anyone if I don’t absolutely have to. And second it seems that there is ALWAYS stuff cluttered in the isles. I usually leave the store feeling claustrophobic because of this, its not the worst super store I have ever been in but its not the greatest either.

A checker at this walmart here just called me liar.

I really try to avoid Wal-​Mart as often as possible, but sometimes I make a trip there and end up leaving pretty irritated. There are a few employees there who are extremely rude and make me seem like I’m such an inconvenience. However, there is an older lady with glasses at the check stand who is always so nice.
Also, majority of the time they are out of certain products or food that I like.

My wife send me to this Walmart location to pick up pampers diapers from this store
When I show up they told me to come back with my wife and her photo ID to pick it up:(to do that I have to drive an hour and take my wife along with my 2 month old newborn baby. I have online order number my wife’s copy of ID we live under the same address… Manager Karina told me the same and sent me home. This is second time I have been treated that way in this Walmart location.
My advise for GM of this Walmart Location «start teaching your Managers good customer service and little respect for people because without US customers you will end up on the curb without money
And being unable to provide food for your family. Please keep this diapers to wipe off your brown nose and leave customer service for people who do care.

Had a question but something. And couldn’t find a worker in the toy section electronic and furniture. We searched for a few minutes til we gave up. Remembered why I don’t like going to Wal-​Mart. They have poor customer service. Found someone, but they ran the other direction when they saw we were about to approach them.

I typically only hit Wal*Mart once a month, but when I do I can take care of a variety of needs. Their prices on hygiene products are reasonable. The check-​out lines have gotten better and the service is above average.

I want to be quick so, I bought my son a tablet that was on sale for Christmas and after about a week in just quit working. I went to exchange it as my son really liked it and wanted to just get another one. I go to the Wal-​Mart where I purchased the tablet at and explain to them that I have my receipt and want an exchange, the customer service worker and supervisor/​manager tell me they do not have one in-​stock so they will just give me my money back, I told them I didn’t want my money back that my son like the tablet and could they order one for me at the sale price I bought it at, in short it was a rude condescending no we cant do that; they reimbursed me and on my way I unhappily went.
Once I returned home I thought you know what? This is BS, so I called Wal-Mart’s corporate customer service and explained to them the entire situation, told them I would like to purchase another at the sale price I bought the original tablet for, I also let them know that their supervisor at the Spanish Springs/​Sparks store needed some classes in customer service. Anyhow, to make a not so short review short, Wal-Mart’s corporate customer service sent me another tablet at get this… no cost! I was shocked and extremely surprised to say the least.
The Spanish Springs store deserves the 2 star rating I am giving here but the corporate CS person that helped me that day deserves 5 Stars and a huge A+++.

Meh, I know it’s a Walmart, but the customer service here sucks. First off, the layout of this store is crazy confusing. I’m always on the hunt looking for what I need, which in turn, takes up a huge chunk of my day.
Also, don’t expect most of the associates to actually know where anything is, or what the hell you’re talking about. Not sure if it’s a language barrier or if they sincerely don’t know where their merchandise is. Very difficult to converse with about 95% of the staff there.
Not my favorite walmart, would rather drive a bit further to the others in Reno than go here. They also never seem to have an efficient amount of lanes open, making it another torturous wait and making me want to stab my eyeballs out. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure we could entertain ourselves in a more positive fashion, than to get lost in this maze with no one to help you. If you’re able to use the self checkout, go for it… might save some precious minutes off your life!
Get it together Walmart, none of us want to waste our irreplaceable days and time trying to find the things we need through this craziness… and tell your employees to «cheer up buttercup» and at least act like they somewhat want to be there!!!

Worst customer service, employees are very rude from cashiers and associates to manager. If they’re not happy with their job then look somewhere else.

This is one of the better Walmarts in town, because they have self check out and also more than two registers open at a time also if you have a problem management is pretty responsive to the customers.

I shop at walmart a lot. I have noticed lately it takes me several shopping carts to find a good one that the wheels are not all screwed up or pulls one direction or another and what is really frustrating to see is several walmart employees walking around and doing things in the store but only having a couple of cash registers open. The lines at the registers need to be monitored for good customer service.

Do reviews expire? Because I could’ve sworn I already reviewed this place. This particular Walmart is for the most part pretty clean. The little clearance isle is always a nightmare. Avoid this place like the plague the first week of every month. There’s numerous isles but never enough checkers. I like that they brought in the self checkout. It’s convenient when you only have a few things. The downside is people bring a cartful of groceries sometimes.

This is a decent Wal-​Mart. Nothing special about it. As with any other Wal-​Mart, some of the employees are nice and some seem to be inconvenienced by your presence.
They do not have a Tire and lube shop, but they do carry an extensive line of oils, filters, and additives at very reasonable prices. Perfect for the do-​it-​yourselfers.
Their grocery prices are good compared to places like Savemart or Scolari’s. I still prefer to deal with the hoards at winco for my weekly grocery needs. I can say from previous experience that the produce selection and quality is not the greatest.
Overall this is a decent location to pick up any everyday items.

At a Walmart.
Now, I know what you are thinking, I’ve slipped off my meds and hit my head really really hard, but listen to me, this is a 5 star Walmart. Doesn’t mean that it’s the best store ever, or the best store that will ever be, but for a Walmart, this is the best one I’ve ever been too. I haven’t seen a Walmart with a better staff, and having what I want, where I want it. I go out of my way to shop at this Walmart, when I want to shop at a Walmart.

This walmart is clean and new. I love Sparks because everything in this area is new and built within the last 10 years or so it seems that way. The walmart in Seattle wont ever beat this location in Sparks, its busy even though theres a ton of Walmarts in this surrounding areas. But this location is always clean and always for the most part well stocked. Great prices and LOTS of parking too!

I’m a Walmart fan, but not so much at this store. It’s crowded and the shelves are often empty but on the positive side it is a very convenient location. Today it took me 20 minutes to get through the check out line at 1:00 in the afternoon. I come from SW Missouri, close to Galactic Headquarters, and this store is just not in the same class as the stores there. But the prices are good. Part of my complaint with the grocery might be just the fact that the the brands are different than what I am used to. But I think I will try different Walmarts. There has to be a better one around.

Out exploring the hills we stopped here for a few things and my god this place is busy. Every isle was clogged with carts and people with no sense as to how to use a cart.
Several things we were looking for was not to be found. But with the amount of people shopping I am surprised there is anything on the shelves.
If this were the store closest to me I would drive a few miles to find a less frantic place to shop, thank goodness I am on the other side of the valley or town or whatever one calls it.
There really is nothing more or less different than any other walmart.
The young lady checking me out was, well checking the items out not me was very nice and fast.

I would rather eat a roadkill sandwich than have to shop here a lot. I really hate Walmart. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because of their variety of crap that I can get and how convenient the one on Pyramid Highway is for me. The employees are very unhelpful and most of them do not know where anything is. The place is always either over or understaffed. I refuse to go on weekends unless my other choice is to hang from a pit of lava. When you park in the Walfart parking lot you should have to sign a waiver.

I’ve actually reviewed this location before, but there seems to be a duplicate entry in Unilocal so I’m just going to cut and past from that review and call it good. Savvy? (oh and word to the wise: this store is in SPARKS and not RENO as the incorrect address would have you believe).
Where I would have given the Damonte Ranch Walmart 3.5 stars, I would give this one 2.5. But I feel it errs more on the side of acceptable than not so I bumped it up to 3.
I love the location of this Walmart. It’s near a lot of shopping that we find ourselves partaking off on a regular basis. So when we need to pick up some groceries or want to shop around for the sort of things one can easily and cheaply find at a Walmart, this location does the job and does it well. It has a nice layout, is a clean and well organized store and I’ve never had any specific problems.
I don’t really like the parking lot here. It tends to be a tangled mess. The entrance has you driving clear to the front of the store and then funneling into the portion of the parking lot you want to park at from there. It causes a good deal of bottlenecks and frustrated shoppers.
There’s a McDonald’s inside, which is preferable to a Blimpies but is rather predictable. However, when you want to reward your child with a McFlurry for not having a conniption in the produce section while you shopped, it does the trick well enough.
It’s nothing to get excited about but it is also nothing to really complain about. It is what it is. I never choose to do my «big» once-​a-​month grocery shopping trip here, but for more casual shopping, I like it pretty well.
