I’ve been going to this big lots for a few years on and could use more organization but the way they change store mgrs(it seems like everytime I go in someone new in charge) it just never gets a consistent look .one day you find what you’re looking for in one area next day somewhere else. could b cleaner and more organized. employees are obviously burnt out and you can tell, Nancy was wonderful friendliest face in the place. However that mgr Sandy… well, having been in mgmt. I realize sometimes you have to make decisions that employees dont enjoy BUT… YOUDONOTDISCIPLINEORBELITTLEEMPLOYEESINFRONTOFGUESTS. That is what offices are for discussion and positive feedback. Does no one any good to do in front of entire store makes mgr look like a shrew and big lots company like that is condoned behaviour. old saying«you catch more bees with honey then you do with vinegar».enough said.

Just hope if you ever have a mishap and you’re a minority that Nancy isn’t the manager on shift. She not only is rudest person I have come across in her position, but also discriminates. Although my husband loves what he can find here we don’t condone bigotry.

This Big Lots is located in a semi-busy shopping center that’s going a tad downhill off of Prater across from the Sizzler and Save-Mart shopping center. The store only has one entrance and used to be larger. It’s as clean as I would expect a discount store to be and has a really great art/garden area. I have a fun time walking around trying to find treasures and good deals here. I have yet to purchase food from this location — it makes me nervous. As much as I like walking around this store, and how much I appreciate the art/garden selections I don’t typically buy anything here. I did buy some couch pillows last week but usually I walk away empty handed. I guess at the end of the day I figure I can find the same stuff at Target for the same price but better quality. I’ll still go back. I can’t really think of anything they can do to improve the store. It’s clean enough and the employees are friendly enough as well.

A big shout out to all of the employees at this store, but especially to MaryAnn! She is friendly, outgoing and helpful. If not for her very friendly greeting to us as we drove through the parking lot, we wouldn’t even have gone into the store this past weekend, but we did, and scored some killer deals! Give that girl a raise!

Clean enough for a discount store. Good prices, especially on household goods like toilet paper, paper plates, etc… It seems like they are understaffed. Not really any associates around besides the cashier. I enjoy shopping here and seeing all the new deals.

It’s ok still like the other Big lots in Reno. This one seems croweded and messy

Decent prices some times, but selection can be iffy. When it was Oddlots they had more name brand merchandise.
