Trimline has tinted 10 cars for me over the past decade. Great people, great work, great product, and customer service is a 10 out of 10!

Awesome customer service! When I arrived they had told me my car might sit out that due to dropping it off the day prior to my appointment, which I was fine with. Though by the time I left they had been able room in the back and were able to secure it in the garage overnight. This is comforting to know my vehicle would be secure overnight. b This will be my second vehicle getting the windows tinted. I highly recommend Trimline of Reno. My husband will be bringing his vehicle in to get his windows done as well. Again thank you Trimline of Reno!

I shopped around and their price was actually the best quote I received, combined with decades of experience and their very friendly and knowledgeable team I knew my vehicle was in good hands. They did an excellent job all the way around and it looks great. This will be my shop of choice if/​when I have to have anything else done and I would recommend highly.

I’ve never been treated so poorly as a customer. Not going back here again. There are many other options for truck shells in the Reno/​Sparks area

Recently I had Trimline trouble shoot and install an acoustic back up sensor system. The work was more difficult than anticipated as Trimline was fixing a system that was not working properly and was originally installed by someone that was not experienced in that type of work. Trimline took on the job and was very thorough in trouble shooting the system, finding multiple issues with the initial installation. The end result was Trimline had to install a newer system which is now working as advertised. The quality of their work was excellent and their customer service (Alan) was «A» plus.

Trimline is a top notch professional tinting company that treats your vehicles with care and does a precise tint job. The owner, Dale, is very easy to work with and runs a tight operation. We are car enthusiasts and have taken all our vehicles to Trimline for the job we know we can count on! Highly worth checking out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Actually, it was us being stupid for ever setting foot AGAIN into Trimline where we bought the ‘A.R.E. cap for our Nissan Frontier. We went there with the sales rep from Nissan Reno from whom we first bought our new Frontier. We went there with the understanding that we wanted an A.R.E. cap to fit that VERY truck, which had a King cab and short bed. The Nissan of Reno salesman appeared to know the Trimline shop and offered to go over there with us to order for the A.R.E. model we wanted. We all went, the Nissan sales rep told Trimline what was wanted or our new truck. A few weeks later the cap had arrived, and we went back, again with the Nissan sales rep, to have it put on. Well, it was the REGULAR bed size that Trimline had ordered. Trimline blamed the Nissan guy for giving them the wrong bed size, but today I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT TRIMLINE SCREWED UP THE BED SIZE on the order. The Nissan sales rep, who had just sold us the truck, certainly knew what size truck bed it had. TRIMLINE HAD THE A.R.E INFORMATION, MFG. CODES AND ALL, ON THEIR COMPUTER. SO WHO PUT IN THE WRONG SIZE TRUCK CAP, BUT SLICKLY BLAMED THE NISSAN SALES REP FOR THE SCREW UP? We should have cancelled the order and RUN OUT OF THE SHOP THEN, NEVER TO RETURN.
Five years later we returned to Trimline to have a minor repair done to the rear window of the same cap. Trimline jerked us around until we finally found out that UNLESS WE SIGNED A WAIVER, they wouldn’t do the repair. The window was completely undamaged, but should TRIMLINE break it, the cost of a replacement window, $ 900.00, would be on us. I have never heard of any repair shop that tries to extort, via stalling tactics and inexplicable delays in ordering the repair parts, a SIGNED WAIVER WHEREBY THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO A PERFECTLY WHOLE PART OF THE CAP.

Excellent job tinting the windows of our SUV and customized
pinstripes. Have had numerous vehicles tinted here before
and have always been impressed with the quality work and materials used.
I chose the upgraded film to get the lifetime warranty.

Not happy with them. Had a friend drive there twice to pick up my car. When I finally got it there was chemical water marks on my door panels from window tint water that was hard to remove.

Have had several vehicle windows tinted here. Staff is very knowledgeable about their product line.

I had to have the invisible bra on my Porsche replaced after the front fender fell victim to an old lady who should have given up driving a decade before… The job performed was exceptional! It was completed on time and the quality surpassed the original bra which was put on by the dealership!
Javier and the rest of the gentlemen were professional and pleasant. I couldn’t have had a better ending to what was initially an upsetting event.

I discovered Trimline in 1991 when searching for window tint for a new vehicle. Over the years I have also had other services performed by Trimline & recently a camper shell ordered & mounted on my pickup. I have been very impressed with all of their work & service. Nice to work with the employees there because they are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, no-​fuss & straight-​forward. This business is run as more should be.

Update to first review. Bought another car, same excellent service. It is more than the 99.00 tint job but Trimline has been in business over 30 years, so you know if there is a problem they will be here to fix it. One car had a small issue 6 months later and I brought it in and they fixed it right up.

Trimline was recommended by Lithia Subaru to put an invisible bra on my new car. I called to ask a few questions and set up an appointment. The man who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude (made me feel like I was interrupting him!) and refused to answer my questions (How long will I have to leave the car; Whose material do you use and do you offer varying grades — 3M has several grades). He only kept repeating that they start at $ 595, they are booked 45 days out, and that I should come to the store to get further questions answered. As a result, I am now scouring the web to find anyone else who can do it.
I should add that I explained to him that I live in San Jose, but I planned to have it done in Reno so I could leave the car with them and stay with my brother during the application process. So making a information gathering visit was not that easy and would certainly delay the process.
I don’t post often, but, being in sales, myself, I found this to be astonishing. I even called my brother, also in sales, to relate this «Can you believe…» story.

I had them windows tinted on my car before and they were great to work with! Quality work and my car was done as promised. Very happy with the quality, product and timeliness!

I have worked in the Public sector for the better part of 30 years as has my wife for nearly 40 years, we understand that at times Customers can be demanding and overbearing. However my wife and I come from the time when the term «the Customer is always right» is the number one rule particularly in the Retail industry, my wife and I purchased a 4X4 truck and we wanted some add on’s so we went to TRIMLINE. First a Bed liner then approximately 3 weeks ago a Camper Shell. We chose to return to TRIMLINE for the Camper shell because of the ease and speedy process of the Bed liner so to us it was a no– brainer, Unfortunately the process was not as easy with the Camper shell and it was just a simple issue with 2 individuals that work at TRIMLINE and it was completely unnecessary. That being said it was Dale that turned this whole thing around and made a possible bad situation a VERY VERY GOOD situation and Dale made my wife and I VERY satisfied Customers and would highly recommend TRIMLINE to anyone with Auto needs! Because of Dale and his excellent Customer service skills we will be back!
