Ayres Muffler Brake & Alignment Center

Very disappointed with Chris (manager). I see all the great reviews and it makes me wonder why my family had such a bad experience. Took my son’s Chevy truck to get an alignment and after spending 400 dollars still couldn’t drive it without peeling the tires off the front. I brought it in my shop and found the mount for the idler arm on the frame bent so bad that the arm would hit the motor when turned all the way. I ended up cutting the bracket off, fabricated a new one and welded it to the frame. Took it back to Chris and he had every excuse in the book why they didn’t find that except that he was wrong. The truck drives great now but after spending 400 dollars for bushings it didn’t need because they couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t align and still won’t admit it, my family and friends will not go back. Be honest Chris and admit if you miss something, don’t try and blame it on other people or say something like the frames bent and it can’t be fixed just because you don’t truly know what the real problem is! Hope this is a pos. Learning experience for you.

Had an emergency with our ’05 Lincoln Aviator in the middle of a weekday and needed the car back ASAP. Not only was the work done same day, the price quoted for the amt of work done was very reasonable, and they even threw in a much-​needed emergency brake adjustment at no charge. Chris was really easy to work with and we will definitely use them again.

Rob and everyone over at Ayres is great! They got me a smokin deal on tires for my old Saturn. They understood why I didn’t want to put $ 800 tires on a car that Blue Books at $ 1,000. They even fixed the tire light on my Toyota in just a few minutes. Took the oil change guys 25. A MUST for all your tire, muffler and alignment needs!

Another happy customer! Came here originally when I needed rear end alignment. Shop I was planning to go to (highly rated on Unilocal btw) wanted $ 200 for each adjustable ball joint, but their supplier didn’t have the part in stock. Discovered that the part was available online (e.g. through Tire Rack) for about $ 75. Wasn’t able to talk the first shop into letting me provide the parts. Searched and found Ayres. They are a Tire Rack partner, and were willing to let me buy the parts. They did the work while I waited (about 2 hours) and we’ve been very happy with the result. They’re good about explaining things too, and easy to work with. Good work, fair price!

This business has been around for a long time and it shows why. Rob helped with my brakes and alignment. I was having issues, needed rear brakes, and he was honest and fast! These guys work hard!
