I met Chad at a friend’s wedding years prior to my own. He was so amazing at that wedding I knew that when I got married I wanted Moonlight Mobile DJ at my own. As soon as we had picked a date, one of the first emails I sent off was to MMDJ. I wasn’t going to risk the possibility that our date would not be available. And from the very beginning, every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and Chad reassured us that all the I’s would be dotted and all T’s would be crossed. He personalized everything to our tastes and made it about us. DJ Chad is the BEST!!! He rocked our winter wedding at Northstar’s Zephyr Lodge, and we had the greatest time knowing that he was taking care of business, especially towards the end of the night when the group needed to get organized for the sparkler exit and people where being drunk and annoying and not listening. He was really patient, organized, easy going and FUN! He even joined us for the after party :) He’s an all around great guy, and we could not be happier with having him DJ our wedding. Go with him, and you will have a blast!!!

I loved and enjoyed having DJ Chad at my wedding in August of this year. He was outstanding! He kept the party going and he knew when to end it. Throughout my wedding, he would let my husband and I know what he thinks will be best to do next. :) He is open to your ideas and what you want. If you don’t know what you want (like we did), Chad was accommodating.

Chad nailed it with our wedding October 3^rd 2015. He was on time, professional and played all the right music. He helped us stay on task with all the various events we had to get done throughout the evening. His pre wedding questionaire was thorough and help guide us no problem. Chad and Jaimie were such a pleasure to work with. They were professional, kind, and super helpful when it came to the logistics and music choices for our big day. We got so many compliments on what a great job Chad did last night and how he kept everyone on the dance floor. Chad was very clear that it was our day and the he would keep his chatter over the microphone to only what was necessary. He was so helpful that day with cues for the toasts, music, and even helped us get our few minutes to eat before having to mingle with guests. Our venue was so impressed that they’re adding him to the preferred vendors list. I would highly recommend him to any bride in the Tahoe, Truckee, Reno area!

Travis Dj’d my wedding this weekend and he was incredible. He helped keep things moving and played great music. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. I highly recommend him.

Chad and Jaimie at Moonlight Mobile DJ were such a pleasure to work with. Right from the beginning, they made a huge effort to try and understand what we wanted, our tastes in music, and our vision for our big day. Jaimie was always quick to respond to our many questions. During our final meeting with Chad, he spent extra time with us to make us feel comfortable and provided great recommendations. When unexpectedly before the ceremony some loud music was heard in the distance coming from another event, Chad took ownership of the situation by going over and asking them to politely turn the music down for our ceremony. The best decision I made for my parents 40^th anniversary party was to hire Moonlight! I could not have been more impressed with the experience Chad provided for my parents party! He arrived early and kept the party going late! The guest list ranged from 20 yr olds to 70 yr olds and Chad had them all dancing! The next week my mom received many thank you cards for inviting them to such a fun party! Will only work with him again, once you have you will feel the same!

I have worked with Chad from Moonlight on a number of weddings this past year and he is TOTALLY AWESOME! He’s great with all of his clients, awesome personality and really is a fantastic DJ, that knows what it takes to get everyone to have a epic time. My husband and I used Chad Sawyer for our wedding in August at The Grove in Reno. We actually found Chad when we attended a friend’s wedding in Lake Tahoe back in 2009. When I met with Chad, he stated that he tends to get most of his work through referrals and I would refer him to anybody! I met with Chad about a year before the wedding and knew right away that I wanted him (I actually think I decided I wanted him the night of my friend’s wedding).
He was really great about keeping the wedding and reception moving and not letting the crowd get too bored and restless. He made sure our guests knew what was coming next so that our guests felt like a huge part of the wedding and not just an audience. He played such a variety of music that he got everyone up and dancing at some point throughout the night. He was great about keeping in touch with our photographer and day-​of-​coordinator at the venue to make sure that everything ran smoothly.
He was also really great with my husband (who had some very specific ideas about what he wanted for the music) and played all the music he asked for as well as other great tunes! He was able to find all of the music that we asked for and didn’t even have a problem with the different covers we requested.
The only thing was he mispronounced my name a few times throughout the night (enough so where it was recognized and commented on by a few of my guests). He had been saying it right up until the night of the wedding, so maybe it was just nerves or he was caught up in the night. It wasn’t enough to not use him again for anything else I may have the need for a DJ.

My husband and I used Chad Sawyer for our wedding this past month at the Ehrman Mansion in the Sugar Pine Point State Park on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Although he has fewer reviews than some of the other DJs on wedding websites, we liked him a lot in our interview and decided to go for it. He was absolutely fantastic — — he kept the dance floor moving all night long (I vividly remember glancing over at the tables and chairs and wondering where everyone was … until I looked at the dance floor where EVERYONE was dancing). He played everything that we asked for (top 40, dance music, hip hop) and nothing we didn’t (electro, country). All in all, a great wedding vendor.
