Career College Of Northern Nevada

April 13, 2015 i decided i needed to make some changes in my life. I was tired of the unfortunate event my life was throwing at me. i didnt have a car so i woke up @ 5:15 every morning to either ride my bike to school or take the bus. i held a job most of the time i was going to school so i was always busy with studying and working when i wasnt spending time with my two sons. the first day i didnt think i was cut out for this but the instructor help me all the way through it. im glad i took the chance and enrolled into school because now i have a good job and LOVE what im doing. i LOVE my hours and my family is proud of me for the changes i made with my life.

LIke anything else, whatever you put into something is what you will get out of it. This school has very qualified staff and they care about each student as individuals, not as a group. These are some of the hardest working people who will even stay after and tutor you if you need it. Also, the Placement Office (the job placement office) even assisted me with my resume before graduation to help me get a job in the meantime while I was attending school. This helped with living expenses. I am now in a new career with my degree that I worked hard for and I am told out in the community that my field is one of the most respected with the CCNN graduates. The building is a nice place and in a good location and the parking is great. The student activities are a great way to get acquainted with your fellow student body. I have never been to a school where they go all out for the students and families at holiday time either. This place really cares. There will always be naysayers no matter how good things are, but speaking personally, I have nothing but good to say and I had perfect attendance and it paid off. I have been employed for over a year in my field and without the foundation that CCNN laid out for me, I would never have gone this far. Thanks, CCNN! My mom and dad (and me) are forever grateful!

I had the unfortunate pleasure of actually attending this school and felt like I was the only one there taking it seriously. Most of the students didn’t take classes seriously and spent the whole time chatting which sometimes made it difficult to concentrate. They would get mad at the teachers for low grades claiming that it was impossible to actually receive a good grade on certain assignments when the few serious student were able to achieve those grades. The teachers played favorites and gossiped about other teachers and students during class time. Then at the end of your training the teachers in charge of placement have the good externship places to the favored (and or was very obvious with some that they weren’t qualified to be placed in the better sites based off their effort and seriousness). This school is a joke and despite how hard I worked for my degree I feel like its worthless because of where it came from. I was an «A» student and worked harder than 85% of the students there and its been over a year and I haven’t even been able to get a job almost in my field. To anyone thinking of going to this school please do yourself a favor and don’t. They will just end up ripping you off.

How about teaching your students some common courtesy and how to act in a polite society. Every time I come into contact with one of your students they are rude and degrading to other people.
