Camelot Party Rentals

We used Camelot Party Rentals for our wedding. We rented chairs, linen and wine glasses. I feel the price was the fair. We did check with the other venders in town to confirm that. I opted to not due delivery I recall it not being practical and a lot of cash. We got married in Graeagle, Ca which is north of Truckee. I showed up and loaded everything with my truck an trailer. Seamless. Everything was as expected on work order.
I did have 3 broken glasses which the damage waiver covered; however somehow I lost a chair. The damage waiver doesn’t cover lost just damage. To me that’s one in the same but ok. They ended up charging me 54 $ for the chair. Not that they should be giving out items for free but when you have a customer spend just over a grand hook them up! But I guess I should have just not lost the damn chair. I would recommend Camelot for any rental needs in the greater Reno area. Cheers.

I have used Camelot for two major events in my life in the last year: my father’s memorial (35 people) and my Commitment Ceremony (125 people). They did an amazing job for both events. The first was a delivery and pick up at the site which was done on time and efficiently. Everything we ordered was there and nothing was broken. The second event we did the pick up and drop off and again had excellent service with help loading and unloading. If you are throwing a big party, this is the way to go for your table settings and service items for sure. The glasses are also a big help. Best of all, you don’t have to wash up, ’cause they do it for you! One of the specialty items that was even nicer than expected was the 3-​tiered silver cupcake stands – very nice, sturdy and they looked beautiful on our cake table!

I got married back in June and hired Camelots to bring everything to our venue at Ehrman Mansion. I have to say that Camelots was very stressful to work with the last two weeks up to our wedding! The first big disappointment was that I had been in contact with them via email and expressed that we may need a tent due to weather being unpredictable and up in the air. I had asked multiple times when we had to have our final decision made by and my contact I formed me two day before the wedding. Then two days before the wedding I called them asking if we could make the decision the next day, but if not I understand. I also made sure to ask if they had tents available and if they were still able to do it. They assured me that I could make the decision the day before our wedding and they had plenty of tents so we would be fine. So I called them the day before the wedding to book the tent and he said I had to have everything finalized by noon. When we called at 11a to confirm everything they told me they could not do the tent anymore due to them not having the man power. This was 24 hrs before the wedding and made me very upset! I then told them they had to go speak to the manager and inform them of our conversations they are putting up the tent for us and to call me back once its confirmed in 15. They called me back and then said they could do it… Soooo frustrating. And to top of off, I had confirmed with my contact that their staff was to move the chairs from the ceremony to our reception space multiple times, and the morning of the wedding he calls me asking to confirm this by leaving a voicemail. I then called him back, left him a voicemail to confirm and sent him an email. He responded via email with a confirmation this would happen… Guess what. It didn’t happen!!! My guests had to carry their chairs up the hill because they did not follow what we had confirmed and discussed. I can’t explain the frustration after confirming this the day of my wedding while I was getting ready!
They gave me a refund for the chairs but that will not make up for what my guests had to do because of their mistake.

Wonderful customer service this weekend while picking out our rentals for our August 2015 wedding. Mikey worked beside us to help pull samples, so that we could see what the set up would look like on the day of. He was patient, attentive and very easy to work with. We attended the Reno Bridal Faire the following day to see additional items and got to work with Deisi to place our order. She was incredibly patient with all of our questions and changes to our order. The team went above and beyond to help us make sure all of our bases were covered. I’m really looking forward to working with them and seeing everything come together in August.

We didn’t end up using Camelot for our wedding because it was too difficult to get a straight answer from their staff. I emailed specific questions to them which went unanswered. I asked again a number of times but still couldn’t get an answer. In particular, I wanted guidance on what lighting had worked at the venue in the past, because they had done many events there before. They just told us that we had to take the measurements and give them a diagram of what we wanted. Not helpful at all, even when I said again that we really would like some input from them as they have the experience, not us.
If you know EXACTLY what you want then they might be fine for you. If you want someone that will actually listen to you and provide some expertise and guidance then Camelot is not the company for you.

My husband and I used Camelot for our wedding this past June at Ehrman Mansion. When evaluating vendors we came down to choosing between Camelot and Event Masters. We ultimately chose Camelot based on feedback from other vendors that the quality of their rentals was much better that Event Masters.
I will say that we were impressed with the quality and finished product that Camelot provided. I was also happy to work with Deisi throughout the planning process, who was professional and accommodating. However, our wedding started late because of Camelot and that casts a shadow on the overall experience. I had a phone call with Deisi two weeks before the wedding at which time she assured me they could meet the agreed-​upon timeline. The wedding was supposed to start at 4:30 and didn’t start until 5:05 because we had to wait for Camelot to finish putting together farmhouse tables at the reception site. In the grand scheme, 35 minutes isn’t a huge deal but I put every ounce of energy into planning this wedding and am embarrassed that my guests had to sit just waiting and wondering what was going on.
I am sad to say I wouldn’t recommend Camelot for a wedding. It’s a once-​in-​a-​lifetime event that you don’t want to risk these issues with.

We have used Camelot for everything from formal company parties to hosting networking events to providing goods for non-​profit charity events. Camelot and their team from the owners to the employees treat everyone of their customers with care and diligence. They are timely with drop off and pickup. I recommend Camelot Party and Special Event Equipment Rental for any ones special day whether personal and professional as they will provide you the products you need to make the event come off spectacularly.

It’s hard to rate Camelot because I have such conflicted feelings about my experience with them for my August wedding in Lake Tahoe. Here’s the good and the bad.
Good:
— They set-​up and broke down the tables and chairs very efficiently. Our venue, the Ehrman Mansion, had a tight timeline and they respected that. It was pouring rain at the end of the night and they were superstars clearing out quickly.
— They have a wide selection of items to rent. We didn’t go with Event Masters because they ran out of tables! We did not have any concerns with this at Camelot.
— Staff was extremely nice on the phone (when you could get a hold of your contact there).
— Tables and chairs were high quality and in very good condition.
— One of the heat lamps did not function at the wedding, and they refunded the cost no questions asked.
Bad:
— Although we had several draft invoices, Camelot tacked on over $ 1000 to our final invoice. This was for various delivery fees (including a late night pick-​up fee) and items associated with our generator rental that Camelot never informed us about (even though our prior invoices already included a lower delivery fee cost and they knew the timeline beforehand). This was a WEEK before our wedding, making us scramble to secure a reasonably priced generator.
— We had issues getting ahold of them. Our employee contact quit and it took nearly a month for someone to take over her responsibilities. Email communication was good after that, but declined as our wedding approached.
— We would call and leave a message with our new contact, who would not call back until 15 minutes before they closed at 5pm. If we missed that call we could only get their voicemail (again).
Overall, our wedding went off (almost) without a hitch, but it was a bumpy road getting there. I might recommend Camelot, but be sure to ask them whether every single invoice includes all of the additional fees and charges, so you don’t get blind-​sided at the end like we did.

We used Camelot Party Rentals contracted through the Nevada Museum of Art so this review is solely based on the quality of products because we did not deal with Camelot directly.
The rentals we used included white folding Samsonite chairs, black chiavari chairs with black cushions, black lamour tablecloths and white lamour napkins. All of our rentals were in pristine condition. There was little or no visible wear on anything (that we noticed). Our main concern was that the white lamour napkins wouldn’t be the whitest white, but they were! We are very happy with their products and will continue to use Camelot in the future.

My husband and I switched to Camelot Party rentals for our wedding last weekend and we are SO happy we did! We had a wedding for 200 people at a house and we needed to rent EVERYTHING. Deisi and Douglas were incredibly helpful from the initial meeting, right up to our last minute decision to put a tent up over our band’s stage. They were able to problem solve with us to be sure we could fit the maximum number of tables and chairs in our space and every element of the service was great.

Planning a wedding is both a delightful and stressful time. Camelot Party Rentals made this part of the process a pleasure. From the first phone call, I appreciated the fact that they were willing to take the time with me to go over my list of items and created a proposal that I received via email within minutes. The website and pictures made it easy to conduct our transaction from home with my limited time schedule. Recommendations, changes and refining were dealt with cheerfuly and return calls and status updates have all been very timely. The friendly, responsive and professional care I have received so far give me the peace of mind that when the wedding date arrives, I am in good hands with Camelot!
