The Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse is a luxury bed and breakfast on a small island near Southport and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The inn has just two rooms, which can be booked separately, or one can reserve the entire island for a private getaway. Breakfast and high tea are included in the room rates, and lobster bakes or fine dinners are served from a select menu for an additional charge. The inn is accessible only by boat; we provide launch service transportation to and from the island.

History

Established in 2014.

A Midcoast Maine nonprofit community group restored the Cuckolds Lighthouse and rebuilt the lighthouse keepers quarters as an elegant offshore inn. The exterior is historically accurate, and the interior is re-​purposed for 21^st Century use. The original lighthouse was built in 1892. All revenue from mission-​related use — overnight stays, tours, events, educational programs, meetings, merchandise, dinners, tips, pledges and donations all help sustain, maintain, and operate this exceptional offshore Light Station, open to the public for the first time in history.
