Amazing! Mike was the DJ for our wedding in July of 2007. We knew from meeting him that he was the man for the job.
He has a huge catalog of music and was easily able to meet our selections for each part of the reception, even editing one of our favorite songs (lengthening the intro and then splicing in the chorus) so it would work for our introduction.
He has a web form brides (and grooms, if they care) can access to enter in all the information for the day, including names and pronunciations of the wedding party. He makes everything a breeze and he’s incredibly friendly to boot. And his prices are reasonable.
He played every song we asked him to. He refused to play the songs we told him not to play. (And you’d be amazed how often stuff from the DNP list ends up getting played at weddings I’ve been to.) He played enough slow songs to keep the day romantic but not so many to keep everyone from dancing the afternoon away.
Our reception started at 1pm but many of our guests later told us that our wedding felt like a «night wedding.» The dance floor was always full and everyone had fun. Mike was probably the biggest reason for that. I’d say it was 50% Mike, 40% the open bar and 10% the masks.
