Established in 2000.

Teaching the Hamptons to dance since 2000. The Dance Center re-​opened under New Management in June of 2010 and a new face lift as a franchise member.

2014 opens a new chapter at the Center as an independent brand. «The Hamptons DANCE Authority» is the hottest innovation in the Hamptons for everything Dance! Business Owner

As a 27 ½ yr. veteran with the Arthur Murray Dance Studios, Mr. West began as a Novice Instructor in May of 1986 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Mr. West served there for 11 years as Instructor, Supervisor and Assistant Manager before returning to the United States.

During his stay in Europe, Mr. West also trained with many Top Competitors from around the world and came away 2^nd Place winner of the King’s Palace Disco Fox/​Hustle Competition (1991).

Continuing his career advancement in the US, Mr. West has taught and supervised in the Boston, Burlington and Stoughton, Massachusetts Studios.

In 2002, Mr. West relocated to manage the Plainview, NYC & Merrick studios. In June 2010 Mr. West & Dennis Milone took over as Owners in Southampton, NY. Mr West continues to serve the NY/​LI area as Master Examiner and Adjudicator.

Now teaching the USISTD Syllabus, Mr .West & Mr. Milone have created their own brand as the Hamptons DANCE Authority! «We Lead, where others Follow!»
