I previously rated this place very highly mostly because of their product. One of the things I loved about this place is that they had new flavors all the time. Well I went in the other day and asked for a couple sample cups as I always do(for the new flavors) and the two girls behind the registers this time hesitated a little, note they didn’t say they didn’t have them they just hesitated, then a big, tall woman came from behind them and loudly said very sternly we don’t have any sample cups. Now I didn’t believe her because the 2 girls didn’t say that, they just hesitated, almost scared. After a little back and forth, the same big, tall lady said rudely that all frozen yogurts are $ 4 today. Implying that that is their excuse for not giving out samples too. So this led me to only one conclusion to solve my problem, it helped me but wasted a lot of their product, a lot more than a couple sample bites worth… I took the largest cup I saw and filled it heaping high with different flavors of frozen yogurt, ones I knew I liked and ones I questioned. It was so high that I wasn’t sure I could make it to the counter without spilling it but I did. I paid my $ 4 and then sat at the nearest table. I had a great treat, didn’t eat it all of course but was able to try the new flavors as well as enjoy the ones I already knew I liked. A waste of frozen yogurt but hey, it’s the way they’re running this business. The rude woman left before me so I asked the two girls if she was a manager and they said no, she was just another employee.

Went for first time. Froyo was good, and the shop was clean, but will prob not return to this location due to less than avg customer service.

My family and I were pleased to hear that our town was going to have a local«Fro-Yo» place. The layout is as simple as it comes all that was left to make this an easy«5 stars» would have been execution of perfect customer service. Sadly an employee demonstrated extremely poor customer service and making sure it got delivered with an attitude. She struggled in making a frozen drink. This individual also seem to have lacked mathematical skills when it came to providing change to a customer ahead of me. Although no place is expected to be perfect, I must say that The Yogurt Bar is a place to get yourself a little treat in South Weymouth. I’d love to see them provide some free sauce like the competitors do.

Love this spot. Easy layout, great toppings, friendly staff. Would give 5 if they could keep containers from remaining sticky and covered in syrups. Other then that I like it.

I have been to the yogurt bar many times and I have always enjoyed my trip there I take the 3 girls I babysit there regularly, but usually in the late afternoon. Yesterday I went to the yogurt bar around 12:30 with one of the girls I babysit. Before we walked in we could see the woman at counter sleeping. When we walked in a bell chimed and she woke up. We made put yogurts and went to check out, at check out she told us that it was a little over $ 19. We both looked at her like $ 19??? For two yogurts? When we come in with four of us it’s usually $ 19, not for just two of us. She proceed to say yes $ 19. So I paid the woman, she handed us no receipt and we sat down. After about 5 minutes she was like I double charged you guys, and gave us back $ 10. I think if she hadn’t been sleeping she may of actually charged us right. And if I hadn’t questioned her she would’ve never reviewed what she had done. Once I sat back down with the girl I babysit, the woman at the counter put her head back down on the counter and didn’t sit back up till we opened the door to leave. Oh and I found a hair in the cookie dough topping!

Looking for a tasty treat this is the place. There is an impressive selection of yogurt flavors and a topping buffet that is never ending. The fruit toppings(berries, pineapple, kiwi) are always fresh. The shop always seems to be open and the staff is friendly enough. I’ve never been in at a time that it’s not busy, but let me tell you even if there is a line it’s well worth the wait.
