Trap’s Tire & Auto Center

After taking my truck to three different alignment shops and being told they «couldn’t align it», I came here and they got it on the first try. Everyone here knows exactly what they are talking about and I could actually have a mechanical conversation without getting blank stares. I’ll be bringing everything here for alignments from now on.

I’ve been bringing my car to Trap’s for the last 2 – 3 years. Well, first I brought in my old car, which was limping along and I was trying to get the most out of it before putting it out to pasture and buying another. There was a long list of items that really needed doing, but as the transmission was going to go out eventually, and I didn’t want to spend the money on a new one, I really didn’t want to do anything else that wasn’t essential to the safety or reliability of the vehicle before that happened. Trap’s was great in that respect and kept me going without my putting a lot of money into a dying car. And when the fuel pump went on my new used car, they took care of that too… super fast, friendly, reliable service and at a fair price.
As a bonus, I called one evening (after hours) because my battery was dead. I work in the neighborhood and hoped that maybe they’d be there and could help me out. To my surprise, they picked up and actually walked over to my car with a portable charger and got me on the road again… and at no charge! That was above and beyond the call of duty.
Trap’s get’s my vote… and my business. I highly recommend them!

This family business is run with great consideration for the customer. They offer optimal, honest options or alternatives for your vehicle repair. No one is going to gouge you for money. Things are done equitably here.
Both my bf and I got services done here. We shopped them for tires. They still had a better deal. He also had his rims repaired here. I brought my car to be serviced but ended up needing a new radiator in the process. Surprisingly, that extra cost wasn’t as bad as I anticipated. Since, I felt good with Vincent’s honest dealings, I decided to add tires to my tab too. At the end of the day, it was all an outstanding deal for parts, service and labor. It was money well spent, and my car is running like a champ again!
Trap’s is an exemplary auto repair establishment! I wish they could be near wherever I move. lol

Trap’s is a great family owned business. I’ve been bring my cars to them for years. Joe is a good guy who is always willing to help. His boys are great too. I highly recommend this shop.

I drove to the place today at 11AM. The schedule says that the place should be open at 8AM. Where was everybody? I have no clue. I can only give a 1 star to a business that does not respect its own schedule.

We’ve taken our two cars to Traps many times and its a great family owned company. Very honest guys and they’ll help you find tires that fit within your budget.

I had a low tire and was in a hurry. Someone recommended Trap’s. I was hesitant since it appeared very busy that day. I drove in anyway. In 30 minutes I was back on the road. All staff was friendly, accommodating and efficient.

Saved me tons! And, Im a broad!
I needed air in my tires so I stopped at Firestone to get air. I had a nail in the center of my tire. They wanted to fix it for $ 38. So I went for it. They call me back to tell me that there is a nail in the shoulder too and cant be fixed and I needed a new tire for $ 250 and would be here tomorrow. Now, they wouldnt fix the tire as-​is, and I couldnt get a new one til the next day…
My instincts told me something was wrong. So I said hold on. I called Traps and the tire was $ 20 more but could get it same day, but they said come in, you might not need a new one. Had Firestone put the spare on and took the tire with me.
Sure enough, I took it to Traps, and they looked and looked right in front of me… no nails in the shoulder. They kept it overnight just to make sure they didnt miss anything and voila, no air leaking once the middle nail hold was fixed.
They were cheaper to fix too, $ 30! So they saved me $ 220, Yay!
And you can go suck it, Firestone.

This is the go to place for CNG repairs — in fact one of the few places other than a dealership to get CNG engines reapaired, tanks tested, etc.
Friendly and reasonable.

Just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I don’t know you’re bullshitting me!!! They fixed my leaky tire for a good price but then tried to tell me that I needed to have something else replaced that was, in reality, perfectly fine. Oh but wait, I don’t have a Y-​chromosome so I’m not supposed to know that.
I played along («OMG! Like totally! I’ll, like, totally call you to set up an appointment for that!») but I definitely won’t go back.
