I have been looking for a good massage therapist for a long time. I finally found one yesterday at Raina Beach, CMT. Raina is not just a great masseuse who loves her job and is passionate about her work, she really listens to the needs of her clients and genuinely cares for their wellbeing.
So here is my story: I been having chronic shoulder, arm and back pain for a while now (more on the right side than left) from carrying both of my kids and have been off balance for a while now. My job involves a lot of computer work so that doesn’t help either. I would feel so uncomfortable at times that I can’t sleep well.
I started to search for a good massage therapist. I had over 10 massages last year from 8 different places, some not so good and some were even above decent but after a day or two I still feel the same annoying dull and knotting pain. Most of those massages just glaze the surface of what my body needs but I can tell you Raina’s service is completely different.
I went to Raina yesterday and gave her the same speech: back, shoulder and arm pain. She started her therapy and I instantly can tell the difference. Raina really understands the anatomy of the body, she was able to pin point exactly what was causing me pain and worked on those areas for a long time. Throughout my massage, Raina’s pressure was perfect (it was the best deep tissue ever) and she worked out all the knots. Please do yourself a favor, if you have chronic pain like me or just want to relax and detox give Raina a call, you won’t regret it.

Raina is the absolute best! I was recommended to her by my fiancé and i am soo happy! I have gone to her 1:1 and recently had her come to my company and give my group the treat of massages around the holidays. Not only is she a great massage therapist but her in depth energy work is hard to come by.

Raina Beach is my «go-​to» massage therapist. The Unilocal reviews are true – she is truly amazing! I’ve been getting massages from her for a year now. I worked in a massage school for 3 years and I’ve received over 100 massages. Raina is among the very best. She asks questions to make sure she understands what you want, then provides exactly what you ask for and adjusts her pressure and style to make sure it’s just right.
I have had her Swedish and deep tissue massage and energy work. Her Swedish massage is extremely relaxing and really transports you to another place. (Can you say «Blissful lunchtime nap»?) Her deep tissue is very firm and really works out the knots in your muscles. And her energy work is subtle but very effective. Her massage studio is an oasis, with a view of the harbor at Oyster Point. After every massage, I leave feeling really relaxed and invigorated. To top it all off, her prices are extremely reasonable. It’s incredible to find a great massage therapist in a great location at a great price!

Thanks Raina for a much needed energy work and simply R & R time for me. I appreciate your vast knowledge on chakra, color, essentials oils and stones to open the clog areas that I need to work on. I’ll be coming soon for a massage session, most definitely will be recommending you to my other friends that needs your special touch.

Being in the medical field I believe in holistic care before pharmacological. I was in search for a CMT to help release muscle tension in my neck & back. At the same time I wanted someone who will actively listen to my body without me having to say much. What drawn me more to Raina was her services that she provided. She offers energy sessions where you can charge or balance your chakras and you have the option of healing stones used during the session.
I booked 2 services online one for the energy session and the other for massage therapy on a Saturday. Raina was very prompt in emailing me back to confirm. She is very pleasant and accommodating. In person she is very attentive, personable, and down to earth. I have never had energy work done on me and it was an amazing experience. After our session she talked about what came up for her and I was in shock on how on point she was. Raina felt my pain and loss without me even expressing myself in words or emotions. If you have never had energy work done I encourage and invite you to try it with Raina. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental, and therapeutic environment. I will not go into too much detail about my experience because that is private, but I really felt lifted.
Now onto the massage. I expressed how my upper back and neck needed work done. She worked out the kinks and also suggested we do some stretches. I walked out of there feeling like a teenager. So fresh and revitalized. Most massages I have had received in the past they have this memorized zombie like work to them. I feel they just zone out and wait for the time to past. Raina is nowhere like that. I feel her ability and specialty in energy provides intuitive work. Raina thank you for re-​grounding me and keeping me present. I will continue to work on forgiveness. Expect me back!

Raina is absolutely amazing. Her hot stone massages and healing touch are positively tranquilizing. I love how relaxed I feel the moment I walk into her studio. If there is anything in particular you need special attention paid to, all requests are met with pure expert touch. I too agree that my spirits feel lifted and overall sense of happiness recharges and restores. I have yet to schedule another appointment, and always wonder why it takes me so long to treat myself.

I visited Raina for both massage and crystal therapy sessions. I was pleasantly surprised with how she manipulates pressure between intense and gentle. She gave me an amazing massage and I have severe back issues. I rarely find someone who can understand. Plus I had to try out the crystal session. It was my first time. But wow, what an uplifting and powerful experience. Raina was so wonderful when my daughter started fusing she even incorporated her into the crystal session. I left feeling my spirits lifted and an overall sense of happiness. I will be back! Thank you Raina!
