Dominic’s at Oyster Point

We went here during the banquet and everything was nice and setup. However, we got the corner table which was a drag as the table was very close to us and hardly moved. Other than that the food kept on coming and coming which we liked. The bar was open until a certain time, but they still charged some people some premium drinks for $ 10 dollars which was a lot of money. I do not know how much it cost to host, but the food was awesome though. All Italian food, chicken was moist, the crab and fish was definitely worth getting, but the hiccups the next day however, but it was expected. There was not a dish I did not like.

What a nice venue/​event space. Great views too. I never knew about this place until last night when it was rented out to view SSF election results, The catered food included fruit/​cheese platters, crab cakes, mini sandwiches and quite a few desserts. I think that the chef is the same one that prepares food for the SSF Conference Center as well.
This would serve as a nice option for those looking for a wedding banquet etc.
Oyster Point is so close to SF – it’s worth taking a look if you’re interested in finding a nice room for an upcoming event.

5 star to this place! The moment we walked in in this place we we’re very impressed how they accomodate their client. Place was so relaxing, nice view. Roger the manager very helpful. If u email him he will response to you same day. Very clear explanation for all the services they offer.

Came here for my Cousin’s Wedding Banquet Dinner back in August The 28^th 2015… I have been to a whole lot of wedding banquet locations all over the bay area in the past!!! But this is my first time ever that… I have been to Dominic’s At Oyster Point for my Cousin’s Wedding Banquet!!! All I can say is that Dominic’s At Oyster Point of South San Francisco is one of the most coolest place to host a wedding banquet!!!
Reason why is because Dominic’s At Oyster Point for me it has one of the most nicest view to see the ocean the yachts and not only that you can see and hear the 747’s fly by!!! My suggestion to all of you love birds if you plan on getting married and looking for a wedding banquet location Dominic’s At Oyster Point is the most nicest place to host a wedding banquet and just one more thing if you like to drink Dominic’s has one of the most nicest spot where the bar is and its a patio style!!!

My husband & I just had our fabulous wedding at Dominic’s on 3÷6÷15. Everything came out beautiful. We had such a great experience from the initial booking till the wedding. Roger was great to work with. I had asked him opinions & suggestions about a few things we were not certain of & he was great providing us with his suggestions & additional tips. He was always prompt on his return emails & calls.
I loved the fact that the flowers, cake & all linens were included in the package really saved me time. The vendors they use are great & provided excellent service.
We had our ceremony at Dominic’s which came out beautifully. It was so easy to add that on our package & that was a smooth process.
Our reception was beautiful. I dropped off a few things to set up for the reception & Roger was great setting everything up. I was so happy when I saw how beautifully everything was put together. All the guests loved the food. Our captain Charlie was great he made sure we had everything we needed. We are 100% satisfied with everything. Our wedding was beautiful thank you so much Roger!

I love this place. I just had my wedding here last Sunday and they made my vision come to life and everything looked gorgeous! Outstanding rating for an outstanding place and Roger is such a delight to work with professional and very accommodating.

Beautiful view. I can’t believe how I never knew about this place. The food was good and I was hungry, so it worked out.

Beautiful venue, gorgeous views. Ample parking, easy to get to. Here for a one year old birthday party. Food pretty good for buffet style. Will come again

We had our Dad’s celebration of life at Dominic’s, and we were very impressed with the service we received from Roger, he was attentive and cooperative with all our needs. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent! Charlie the banquet captain did an amazing job helping us with all our requests. Our family and friends are still talking about how much they enjoyed themselves. We would definitely recommend Dominic’s for your event. Thank you again for making our day so special!

So I am going to start off by providing a little background about my living/​financial situation.
I had been with my boyfriend for a little over 10 years before marrying. We have a 6 year old and 1 year old, who we would like to support through college when that time comes. With that being said, a wedding by my childhood dream/​mainstream standards was nowhere near possible. And we were more than ok with that.
In searching for a venue, we wanted a place close to home and fit a decent amount of people. We wanted something intimate with an old school feel to it. We looked at places online and a couple places in person. I’ve been to a couple parties at Dominic’s and absolutely loved the place. It’s a hidden gem in South San Francisco. The surroundings is beautiful with the greenery around and docks in the back and I always remembered the food to be delicious. We visited Dominic’s together and decided it was the perfect venue.
We booked Dominic’s for a Friday buffet wedding and it was beyond anything I ever dreamed of.
The place was beautiful. We were married in January and was still able to use their Christmas decorations to make it match our winter theme. We rented heating lamps to enjoy the deck and its view. There was plenty of space for our 140 guests, a photo booth, reception table, sweetheart table and cake table.
The service. The service is absolutely unmatched. Roger was very professional and responsive right from our initial contact. He answered all my questions and I ALWAYS have a lot of questions. Roger was always very patient, friendly, informative and helpful. Charlie, who also helped us during the day of the wedding, was so nice and even made sure my husband and I had food to eat during the reception. Even after hosting (a very frequented by our guests) bar, Charlie made the evening proceed without a hitch. They were amazing.
The food. We got a lot of compliments from our guests regarding the menu. They raved about the sole, salad options, rice and, mostly important, the amount of food. I, personally, loved the crab cakes.
The cost. Super affordable. Two words… Friday and buffet. We tailored everything to fit our budget and were able to pull off an amazing, memorable wedding.
Dreams change and the result can be so much better.

If you want an all inclusive (and no hidden charge) venue then this is the place to be. We chose the basic package for our wedding which included chair covers, linens, hurricane candle centerpieces, a GORGEOUS 3 tier cake, a huge buffet, champagne (for the toast), punch and appetizers that were served. All we had to do was bring in our guest book and card box and whatever extra details we wanted. Everything else was beautifully arranged for us. We had our ceremony here as well which was a huge plus. Not only was this venue convenient for us but our guest had plenty of parking, the outdoor patio to enjoy if they didn’t want to be inside and when the ceremony was over they literally walked upstairs and were served appetizers. The only thing that wasn’t included was the alcohol. My husband and I went back and forth as to what we were going to do as far as alcohol but in the end we had a no host bar and it worked out just fine. No regrets at Dominic’s. Roger and Charlie were great! Thanks guys.
For a basic review: Convenient, Clean, Beautiful, Classy, Affordable… PERFECT

A big big thank you to Roger, Charlie the captain and to the wonderful staff! We just had our wedding reception on October 19^th and it was spectacular! From the beginning Roger was always very pleasant to work with! Always available to answer my questions right away.
The day of the wedding finally came! I walked into Dominic’s and I was blown away by how BEAUTIFUL the place looked! Everything and I mean everything was perfect! The tables were perfect! The patio was perfect! The bar was perfect!
As the guest started to arrive all I heard was how beautiful everything was. The appetizers were delicious! Dinner time came and we were served a delicious sit down dinner! We pretty much had a 5 course meal served! To this day I’m still receiving text messages from friends and family about having the best wedding food ever! The chocolate fountain was a hit! I’m so pleased with our entire package!
Dominic’s did an amazing job! I can honest say our wedding was everything we had dreamed about and more! I cannot stop thanking Dominic’s and the entire staff for everything!
It truly is a hidden gem!

Let me first start off by saying thank you to Roger, Charlie, and the Staff for making our wedding a wonderful and successful evening.
We just finished our wedding a week ago and the whole process from first finding Dominic’s to planning everything and working on food options, guest list, set up, etc have been smooth. They were able to make many accommodations for us so that our wedding was the way we want it, color scheme, projector, decorating the back patio, and we had some strict vegetarians which they allowed us to pick a different entrée for them.
We felt completely at ease every time we met with Roger to go over the details. We must have met him about 4 times from day 1, first meet to see the place, second time to make a deposit, with the last time being to make final payment.
The location is in a nice quiet area that won’t have you being bothered by other pedestrians trying to crash your wedding, it’s next to an inn for any guest who don’t feel right to drive home afterwards. Plenty of FREE parking and located really close to 101, 380, and SFO. It’s different than the other hotel banquet halls, see the pictures to see if that’s something you’re interested in. Or better yet, make an appointment with Roger to come in on one of the weekends while they’re setting up so you can get a good idea what your event will look like.
They hold 2 events most days, so you can either get the morning one that ends around mid day, or the evening one which starts at 6.
The food, what event would be right without good food, I ordered the Prime Rib and my Wife ordered the mixed grill and we were both impressed. Word from our guest, family, said they all enjoyed the food. I didn’t get to eat much of my food until the end when it was cold but it was definitely delicious when I was able to eat it while it was piping hot. We also had some Hors d’œuvre and appetizers I remember the stuffed mushroom and seared tuna which were also yummy. Another plus was the chocolate fountain, all the kids loved it.
So here’s there deal, they have different level packages based on the packages you get to alter your event a certain way. I believe most if not all their packages come packaged in with complimentary wedding cake, and floral centerpieces. They set us up with a florist and a baker which we contacted to work out the details and in the end Dominic’s took care of their bill for us. For the cake, we were able to order little mini cakes to do a taste test, but that’s a review for another business. It definitely made things easier not having to find our own cake and flowers and after reading their reviews we knew we had good reliable vendors who were working with us.
I think the only thing that freaked us out during the whole process was that because they aren’t a restaurant there wasn’t an opportunity to do a taste test. I know for most people that’s probably the deal breaker, but all the reviews on here raving of their food and take my word too that the food is great. I don’t think we were able to truly be relaxed not knowing what the food was going to taste like until it got served either, so I doubt my word will hold full weight but yes the food was good.
I think everything turned out great, and we left very happy with Dominic’s. This place worked for us, and while I gave them 5 stars, it of course won’t suit everyone’s needs or fit their theme but I want you to hear our experience and maybe you’ll give them a peek so you don’t miss out on a really beautiful and friendly place, and again Roger and Charlie were always open ears to our wishes and concerns which eased our concerns.
Oh I almost forgot, but the price was very accommodating for the budget minded. There was an option for most price levels, with them requiring a 100 guest minimum. Package dictates price, but remember they’re going to cover your cake and centerpieces, so you only have to take care of a few other things such as music, photog, so what more could you ask for?

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a bridal shower. Guest count about 75 guests. Plenty of parking and easy access from the main road. Thankfully it was a nice sunny day so obviously that made the venue location and views from the open French doors leading to the deck of the bay and waterfront really nice.
The hall had plenty of space, classic but not too tacky/​outdated décor and beautiful draping in the center of the room up near the ceiling and gave nice lighting.
The guests were served a buffet. Spread was a good variety and really good. I could have easily gone for a second plate. Only thing that was kind of a hassle was the bathroom situation, only two stales in the ladies room. Thankfully it was only women at this shower, so the men’s stales were available if people needed them. But I could see that being a potential annoyance should there have been both men and women there.
Nice location for any celebration with nice weather, good venue, staff and food. :)

We just had our wedding here at Dominic’s, it was excellent, Roger was great and helped us with all our questions and worked with us at any given time.
We had our Ceremony outside on the grass and it turned out to be perfect and the Reception was great too.
Rave reviews from our guests that I talked to. Food and Flowers and Cake that comes with the Events Package was all good.
My only thing that I feel is worth mentioning is the balcony, it is nice but we were hoping they would have repainted or spruced it up a little more, the railing needs some TLC but other than that is turned out excellent.

What a great little secret this venue is perfect for the couple that wants to provide a wedding with hassle free parking, privacy, gorgeous views, close to airport (visiting guests), awesome staff, great apps and dinner and overall atmosphere! If you are looking for a nice South San Francisco Wedding Venue this may be the place. They have great San Francisco Wedding Photographers, DJ’s, and Planners they can recommend too.

From booking the date — picking up the leftover favors the next day Dominic at Oyster Point is an excellent choice for a wedding reception. They offer multiple price point packages for you to choose from. If you want to include your flowers and cake they have it covered. The service was amazing, the space is beautiful and the view spectacular of anytime of day event. We had about 120 guests and not one has said they had a bad experience. Quite the opposite they have been looking into booking an event for themselves at the same location. The food is great tons of flavor and a great variety. This wasn’t my first time at Dominic’s and it won’t be my last. Enjoy and always accept an invitation with this as the venue.

Not the most beautiful venue but if you want a decent place to hold your private event and NOT wracking your budget, It ‘s probably a good idea for you to check out this place.
They event have a nice view in the back and plenty of parking. And it’s not too far from the city.

This is a nice plate, i mean plate. wait both.
Friend had a party for their mother and it was quite nice. The view, and venue was great with more potential too. Could use a little modern touches. The catering staff was friendly, and quick. OVerall everyone had a great time.

Food made up for other things. Went here last night for mom’s work X-​mas party and whole fam came. All 3 car drivers got lost going there coz direction online (both Dominic’s website and Google) did not mention to make a RIGHT turn on Marina Blvd to get to restaurant. It’s very difficult to see restaurant at night and there are no visible signs. I just have to get this out of the way coz it will be helpful for those of you who plan on going there in the evening.
For FOOD, loved their salmon, chicken and especially their chocolate fountain!!! yummy! Make sure to try cream puff pastry and rice crispies with chocolate syrup!
