Sometimes a girl just wants a Subway sandwich, but when I visit this location I’m also given a side of unwanted, excessive flirtation. I’ve had the misfortune to be served by the same staff member every time, who calls me hun, sweetie, baby, etc., while referring to other customers as sir or ma’am. He excessively compliments me on everything, from my outfit to eyebrows, all the while looking at me like I’m a sandwich. Unfortunately this location is the one closest to my work and home, so I’ll have to endure him anytime I want a Chicken & Bacon Ranch.

I am always a fan of Subway! Location is in a plaza type, plenty of open parking. Inside, clean and spacious, often unusual for a Subway. No wait, staff took my order right away. Sandwich was made to perfection, plenty of veggies. The price met what was expected, around $ 8 for a meal deal. I was on my way… Clean place, friendly staff/cashier, reasonable price… Happy! Joy!

Let’s face it, at one point or another we’ve all had ourselves a subway sandwich. I can’t say I eat here often, but when I do, the service is usually slow, especially at peak lunch hours. Not so for this Subway located on Western Ave. This place was pumping out sandwiches like a well oiled machine. There must have been 6 of them behind the counter, cooking up sandwiches like it was their job(and it was). The thing that got me was that the sandwich artist who created my cold cut combo seemed generally happy about life. Cheers to you woman with the sweet Subway Visor!
