Pearle Vision

My new insurance listed Pearle Vision as an in-​network provider so I made an appointment to try them.
I got an appointment right away. My first impression of the person who takes your info was positive. She seems very professional, polite and friendly. The doctor was nice and was able to fit me for contacts no problem.
Wait time wasn’t bad first visit. My last visit was a little bit of a wait but nothing extreme.
It took a long time to get my trial contact lenses. A week longer than the doctor told me to be exact.
Now on to the bad and the reason I will never go back there. When you enter the office you need to pass through where you pick out your frames and lenses.
The first time I was there I heard the male worker from the front get annoyed at a customer because he wasn’t interested in the upsell of lenses he was offered.
The next time I heard one of the workers say they gave the customer in there a discount because he was a pain. Seriously? You talk that way about a customer with other customers in the store? For the record he asked if there were affordable frames, THIS, is what made him undesirable apparently. Fast forward after my appointment I was leaving and this customer was back and frustrated and arguing with the very rude male worker asking for pricing and they took away the discount the other worker offered him I’m guessing to get rid of him.
I called later in the day to get the price of the contact lenses I needed to order and 2 days later I was never called back. Guess they don’t want full pop from a paying customer with insurance either.
Thanks for not calling me back. I ordered my contacts online, got them super affordable and they are already in transit to me. And best part is I will never need to go back to that establishment.
Also the hold music they have is awful. And they have a recording that comes on every few minutes but it cuts off and doesn’t finish the message. Not a big deal, just be forewarned if you get put on hold to turn the volume down.
