Dr. Wu and her team are outstanding! They are exceptional in their ability to meet their client’s needs– and the results speak for themselves. You wouldn’t expect less from an MIT, Harvard and UCLA graduate. In our case, she successfully corrected spacing and alignment issues inherited by a previous orthodontist who insisted on braces, which was too aggressive. A retainer was all that was needed– and terrific results achieved. Dr. Wu is one of the smartest, most caring, and thoughtful professionals I ever worked with, and her office is clean, child friendly, and an overall happy place to be. We’ve been to other orthodontists– she is by the far the best in LA. Thank you, Dr. Wu!

When our son needed an orthodontist we considered a number of local professionals. The moment we met Dr. Wu and her staff, we knew that we had found the one for us. Dr. Wu is very caring, communicates the process and steps effectively, and she establishes a warm rapport with both the patient and parents. Her office is run efficiently (I don’t think we were seen late for any of our appointments), her staff is friendly and responsive both over the phone and in person, and the décor and surroundings are tastefully done. My son got his braces removed today. You can see the improvements and what a difference the last 21 months have made on his teeth. The entire office was so excited for my son’s braces removal, I think they were almost as happy as he was! While needing orthodontist work is never high on anyone’s list, I am so grateful for Dr. Wu for her dedication, top notch skills and professionalism. I would highly recommend, with no reservations, Wu Orthodontics.

Dr. Wu is great. She is passionate about her work and it shows. My 13 year old son Alexander needed braces and after searching around, we finally decided on Dr. Wu. She has a great team and a system down to explain everything in great detail so the patient feels comfortable when they leave the office. Her office is professional, clean and up to date on all the technology.

I stopped visiting them because they don’t really return any of my phone calls and emails so I decided to find someone else.

Just had my daughters come for their first orthodontic consultation and the Wu staff here was phenomenal! We were greeted warmly at the reception desk and were given the needed paperwork to fill out! I didn’t even feel the dreaded «waiting period» that normally happens after you fill out the paperwork. Perhaps it’s because they had a table side video game console to pass the time for us dads! Great idea! Who doesn’t love playing Pac-​Man while waiting for the dentist right? Anyway, the office is tastefully decorated with modern décor and very inviting! Dr Wu is a smart cookie as she holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT. They are hanging in the reception office discreetly but visible just to assure you you’re in good hands when you’re sitting on her chair! She was very personable when we met her and she was very patient answering all the questions my young daughters had. I certainly recommend her for all your orthodontic needs and look forward in her improving the smiles of my daughters. See you here!

We love Dr. Wu! My 10-​year old son has a moderate underbite and she suggested we get the underbite correction gear. She thoroughly explained its benefits, the negatives, and the commitment that goes with moving forward with it. Although the head gear she recommended does not look cool (at all) … we knew it was the best option for our son.
Dr. Wu is professional, informative, and has a kind/​caring demeanor about her which is helpful especially when working with kids. The office is clean, bright, and has a modern vibe. And, her staff (Sue, Eliza, and others) have always been helpful, informative, and simply amazing!
I highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! We had a few consults with other groups and none of them impressed me. At all. Meeting Dr. Wu and the staff here was great. The office is clean and has a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Dr. Wu was not pushy at all, which I love, and you could tell right away she and her staff were extremely knowledgeable. My daughter is at ease at all of her appts which is huge since she typically is really nervous with any dental work. I highly recommend coming here. You will not regret your decision.

I brought my daughter for a consultation and everyone here is so friendly! Sue, in the front office is very helpful and is always smiling! Dr. Wu is very smart and helpful as far as explaining everything you need to know. She doesn’t make you feel pressured to agree to anything you’re not comfortable with. She’s very conservative and super sweet and full of energy! The dental assistants are ALL very patient and friendly! Big plus because my daughter is afraid of all dental things! The office is very adorable and fun! What I love most is that it is all purple everything! My favorite color!!! :) my daughter loves the big huge bear in the front office. I am very happy with Dr. Wu being my daughter’s orthodontist! I wish I had such a friendly and fun place to look forward to when I was getting my braces! Thank you Dr. Wu and awesome staff! :)

I went to Dr. Wu after my teeth shifted due to not wearing my retainers the first time around. Compared to my first orthodontist, she’s a breath of fresh air! The orthodontist I went to for braces was so rude and ignorant — Dr. Wu is the EXACT OPPOSITE. After my consultation for getting my teeth straight again, I felt confident in her and her staff’s services and knew that I’d have a good experience for my time with her. She provided me with all of the details I needed for my treatment (I got active retainers /​aligners because my teeth weren’t too bad and I didn’t need to get braces all over again). She cautioned me on adjustments that might occur with my mouth and was extremely reassuring. She also made sure that my dental hygiene was up to par to even begin my treatment. I never left her office without a smile on my face.
The best part was that I ended my treatment 2 months early! It was a complete shock to me but that is just how good Dr. Wu is. Her staff even gave me tons of candy and goodies when I completed my treatment! :D Sue and Ilyzsa are always so friendly and accommodating — hands down the nicest and sweetest staff I’ve ever met. I’m so glad I went to Wu Orthondontics to fix my teeth again. They deserve nothing less than 5 stars.

We are still going to Dr. Wu’s office for our orthodontic needs and several years later, I still can’t help but rave about Dr. Wu and her staff. They are so kind and welcoming. It just blows me away what an amazing practice this is. I have noticed that Dr. Wu has become super busy these days, which does not surprise me because she is that fantastic. However, I admit I’m a little sad because I miss being able to chat with her like I did when she first started her practice. She has a wonderful personality and always makes you feel so comfortable and supported. She is that unique combination of being an excellent professional and a genuinely nice person. Her staff (Sue, Eliza, Kate) are just as awesome as she is.
So I write this update with mixed feelings because I want to keep Dr. Wu all to myself, but mostly I am thrilled that the word has gotten out about her practice. I am very picky about my recommendations and Dr. Wu is without hesitation the best of the bunch.
Oh, and if things couldn’t get any better… there is a video game table in the front office where the kiddos can play Pac-​Man or Galaga:). My son loves it:)

This was the best orthodontic experience I have ever had — a premium experience at a competitive price!
As an adult with crooked teeth, I thought it would be a bit awkward to go to the orthodontist because it’s usually full of kids getting braces. Sue, the coordinator, helped me to book for a time that fit my crazy work schedule and also at a time where there would be no children so that we didn’t feel awkward. Sue was also incredibly helpful in helping us to understand the pricing and insurance policies — very clear and transparent.
Dr. Wu is incredibly professional, approachable, and intelligent. She clearly knows what she is talking about and conveys her knowledge to her patients in a way that a non-​orthodontist can understand. She clearly lays out your options and doesn’t push you to go one way or the other. Dr. Wu is truly sincere and honest — someone you would want to have as your friend, not just your orthodontist!
I started my Invisalign treatment last October and am almost complete with the treatment. I admitted that I had not worn my Invisalign the full prescribed number of hours per day, but Dr. Wu was completely understanding and willing to modify my treatment plan to get the results I wanted.
Not to mention, the office is bright and beautiful. It’s impeccably clean and very modern. It doesn’t feel like your typical ortho office, but instead somewhere you actually would WANT to visit.

I came to Dr. Wu about a month ago for a consultation and I was very impressed with the professionalism of all the staff. Dr. Wu is very friendly and knowledgable. I have found Dr. Wu and her staff to be the most pleasant experience from any dentist or orthodontist I have been to.
I visited another orthodontist who didn’t give me much look and said it would take twice as long to do the same job. I chose to go with Dr. Wu and have had my braces on for a couple weeks. So far so good.
Also the office and equipment it very modern and up to date.
Dr. Wu and her staff are all very welcoming and kind. I had a concern early on with my teeth shifting and Dr. Wu took my call personally and assured me everything was normal and I could call if I had anymore questions before my next appointment.

Dr. Wu, Sue, and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my consultation and was especially impressed by Dr. Wu’s ability to tailor Invisalign to my particular concerns. If I weren’t moving away in a few months, I would almost certainly come to this office (though it IS much pricier than I had expected — I’d probably have to think about that).
The office itself is also beautiful. I couldn’t find the parking lot that others have referenced (I blew past the building, which is on the corner), but there’s plenty of street parking right alongside the building.

Absolutely the best dental office I have ever been to. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. I am so happy to have found this practice for my kids’ orthodontic treatment.

Initially, the thought of walking in to an orthodontics office made me think of a used car lot: Someone was going to insist I buy something for an overpriced amount that I really didn’t need.
Dr. Wu’s practice is NOTHING like that. She was 100% honest with both my mother and myself whether or not we clinically needed braces, and has far surpassed all standards I had when walking in.
Even when I had to move initially to Kansas, and then out of the country for school, Dr Wu was happy to work with me and answer all of my questions via email, Skype, and telephone! She welcomed all questions, and never made me feel like a fool for sending photos of my slowly morphing bite pattern.
I highly recommend Dr. Wu for any and all orthodontia work.

Every time I think about Dr. Wu, I found myself smile. She is my first dentist that I have spoke to in regarding orthodontics treatment. Ever since I met her, I expect all other orthodontics specialists to be the same, I am wrong.
She has raised up the bar for the whole orthodontics industry, offering the most innovative and readily accessible materials to shorten your treatment time.
Dr. Wu spent great deal of time ‘gently’ reveals my conditions, reassuring me there is nothing to worry since there are treatment options for me here at her office. (I was a bit shaken, but after another 10 minutes TLC from Dr. Wu, my shoulders were lighter. And mom, I wish I had listen to you getting braces early on.)
Dr. Wu, as a young adult herself, understands the potential social or physical challenge I may have while receiving orthodontics treatment. She encouraging me to take a leap of faith to include the most advanced medical grade screws from South Korea for my upper palate.
I definitely should turn in my insurance info to Sue to get a quote. ;)

Dr. Wu is such a sweet ortho and she’s amazing. Sue was also really helpful! So I found out about Dr. Wu through a friend that had her braces consultations done with Dr. Wu and she highly recommended me to go see her as well. Well, Dr. Wu is way too awesome. Although I was only there for a consultation but she was really really thorough and took her time explaining the differences between traditional braces and Invisalign to me.
Of course before seeing Dr. Wu, her dental assistant (forgot her name, but she was really really sweet as well) did x-​rays and took some photographs of my teeth to be examined later by Dr. Wu. Okay, the reason people seek ortho (s) is to fix their teeth to make it look great and that we can have more confident when we smile. I was really really uncomfortable when the dental assistant took pictures of my teeth but she was really sweet and told me that’s why they’re here to help us and really comfort me and told not to be too embarrassed.
I had a great consultation session with Dr. Wu and staff. Although it was only for 30 – 45 minutes, I know Dr. Wu did really took her time into telling me about the braces process and everything.
I am definitely considering choosing Dr. Wu and team to make my smile even better! But! I have to wait on the insurance to go through. HAHA.

My teenage daughter loves Dr. Wu. That should be enough to explain the 5 stars, but I will explain further.
My daughter looks forward to every appointment because Dr. Wu is so positive, warm and kind. When we enter the office, we are always welcomed by a friendly staff. Dr. Wu spends ample of time with us explaining every procedure and updates us on my daughter’s teeth progress. She makes my daughter feel comfortable and happy to be wearing metal in her mouth. My daughter also loves her light touch and pain free style of tightening braces. She also gets to change up the color of the bands on her braces every 6 weeks. How cool is that?
The price is very reasonable. She never tried to nickel and dime us. She was very upfront with the cost and as sweet as she is – she never sugar coated our financial responsibility. I liked that because it makes things very clear and leaves no room for surprises.
It is truly refreshing to meet someone so dedicated and passionate about her job. We can’t wait to see Jade’s new and improve smile.

Ok so I loved my old orthodontist who put on my braces. He was amazing but I lived in Denver at the time. So fast forward to last week (5 years later) when my bonded retainer starts coming off and bugging that SH$T out of me! I did what any reasonable person would do… I called my orthodontist in Denver to make an appt and started looking at flights. Luckily his receptionist understands how neurotic I am and told me that I should really look for an orthodontist in my area and told me exactly what to ask for to make sure they could help me. OK, I will try but it’s a Friday so I get out my needle nose pliers and pull off most of the retainer but leave a jagged piece that is now poking my tongue… aghhhh!
After calling several orthodontists and leaving messages or talking to receptionists that didn’t care how much irritation I was going through, they didn’t have an appt until August or whatever. I was thrilled when I got a call back from Sue saying that since I really wanted to get in quickly, Dr. Wu could see me in her husbands pediatric dentistry office while her new office is under construction. Needless to say… «Please, heck yes, and thank you»!
So as if they hadn’t already won me over by seeing me for a consult, Dr. Wu sees how much pain I am in and removes both my bonded retainers (the other one was in bad shape too) in that very appointment! Not only that, she was amazingly patient with my hyper sensitive teeth and took time to get all the glue off without hurting me. There is a reason I loved my old ortho, he was patient with me. Dr Wu was patient and comforting and had a warm smile on her face the whole time! She gave me several options for proceeding so that I can keep my stellar smile! I think I am probably gonna go with the removable retainers so that I can stay away from the insanity of bridge flossing forever!!!

I have a friend who came here to get Invisalign done, and every time I come with him, I like it more. His teeth are also starting to look really good, despite this only being his 4^th month.
Located on a nice trendy street in Pasadena, this place is understated, which I love. They’re not trying to sell you extra services with weird gimmicks. Dr. Wu is professionally trained at Harvard and is amazing technically. In addition, she has amazing bed… er…chairside manners, and will never try to sell you things you don’t need. You will love her. She is so sweet and charming, and makes any kid or neurotic teenager comfortable. My friend is an adult and he also loves it here.
The receptionist is really nice, and they are accommodating. I highly recommend coming here for braces or Invisalign, whether you’re a kid or not!
