Vinny’s Nails

This place isn’t as awful as people make it seem. Is it 5 star? No, but it’s not terrible. Went here because another salon in the area destroyed my nails. There was nobody in here which was a little off-​putting to me but I needed a manicure. The lady was sweet, and was very gentle with my nails. She fixed what the other place had messed up which was good. The gel selection is slim so don’t be too picky. The décor is definitely older, and it doesn’t look 100% clean. I am not sure I would get a pedicure here, but the gel manicure came out fine. I haven’t had a problem with my nails since I got them done, with the other salon I went to they were cracking after 2 days. I would go back again, but may try to find a salon that looks a little bit cleaner where I would get both services done as opposed to going to one for a manicure and another for a pedicure.

I put up with Kathys attitude because she does eyebrows so well. Been going to her for years (since like 2005). Back in the day, this place used to be packed! I know my family and friends have had some bad encounters over the years, so I assume something there went left. They don’t do that many designs to my knowledge so if you want something cute off of Pinterest, try again, girl.

I went there due to need of a pedicure last min, needless to say I will NEVER be going back there again!
I got a toe infection that took me almost a month to get rid of. This place is so unclean, and by far the worst pedicure I’ve EVER gotten. She literally washed my feet, and used the cheapest products. I was given a 30 sec rub down on my feet, NOT a massage.
I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down yet.

My mani-​pedi look great. More importantly, BF’s pedicure was superb and his monster feet are baby soft. I took a star off because their selection of polishes is awful, a handful of blah Essie colors. They have tons of hideous cheapie polishes. Bring you own color!

Walking by one day, I decided to give this place a try. There was one other person inside getting a pedicure. She had a smile on her face — how bad could it be right?
I sit down, they fill the tub. Take off my shoes put my feet in… girl working on my feet decides to talk on her phone at the same time. She whips out her cell phone and starts chit chatting LOUD in Spanish. I look at her and say «do you mind». She closes her phone & puts it away.
Then I glance over at the smiling woman and I now see why she’s smiling… under her feet is a PILE OF SKIN. The were cutting all her thick callouses off with razor blades!!!
Um, we don’t do that in the US. It’s illegal.
I couldn’t get out of there quick enough…
