I went to jinnys last minute for a gel manicure right before a cruise. My nails came out great for the first 3 days. After that, however, they started to chip at an unprecedented rate. I was very disappointed with the service and I will not be returning back.

For these low prices, I don’t expect a lot. The place is clean although rather aged, and if all you want is a quick normal manicure I recommend this place. If you want fancy spa services pay more and go somewhere else.

I went here for an acrylic nail fill. The receptionist doubles as a nail person. The place was almost empty, so I don’t know why she was in such a rush. She used a grinder to remove the old polish. She moved so quickly she burned my nail beds several times. I like to relax during a manicure… not be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next burn. Looking back I should have walked out right there.

DON“T GO HERE for waxing service. I specifically said my skin is sensitive to the wax if it is too hot (who’s skin isn’t) and she ripped the skin right off my face! I have gotten my eyebrows waxed plenty of times before without this happening, she was in a rush because there is not enough staff to service people. Also, she did not shape them and they basically go straight across :(
I don’t normally write bad reviews, but I would have wanted to know this in advance before going here. Hopefully this review helps the salon to consider taking the extra minute to listen to their customers!
