Passable buy expensive. Figures for location. However on a dead weekday afternoon you would think the employees might be happy to get a tip. Instead I got half @$$ service. Sorry for making you have to work while at work.

This may look like some fast food bar. The international variety on the menu is a nice surprise. Lattes were good. Husband loved his pumpkin pie(high praise from a pie junkie). I absolutely loved the layered caramel cake. Their baked goods are bakery quality! Service was good-humored, outgoing, and fast. Indoor and outdoor seating, and great people-watching and view-loving right there on the marina.

I really love this place, the address of this place is no longer on Pioneer Trail, but it is at Ski Run Marina with a great lake view. Outdoor seating in the summer is perfect. They try really hard to please and have a great menu of food from 11 difference countries/cultures. They have a good variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Kabob’s and gyros are great. The coffee is Mr. Espresso brand, which is why I came here in the first place. What a great surprise to have good food and atmosphere too.

Better than the yuban that was in our Marriott hotel room but a far far cry from a rich cup of Joe. Walk the extra 100 ft to Sbux or Peets in Raleys for the real deal!

Two stars one for the nice folks that work there, one for the incredible location, and one for their beer… wait, that’s three nice things. I’ve had their gyros, hummus, clam chowder, and tabbouleh, amongst other things. Biggest issue is that the quality of the food just isn’t consistent. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not. Absolutely great location right on Ski Run Blvd. with beautiful views of the lake. Drink enough beer, start enjoying the view and it really won’t matter what you’re eating.

The staff even helped my husband with the snow chains! While my husband was outside struggling to put on the snow chains, me & the kids waited inside this cute little café overlooking the lake. The server made some delicious peppermint hot cocoa for the kids and I ordered a peppermint mocha – delicious. I noticed they had top of the line espresso machine. Great espresso and very knowledgable. In any case, the man working there went out to assist my husband several times. Talk about service! He even gave me a sample of their pumpkin curry soup. OMG so good. One of the best soup’s I’ve ever tried. Can’t wait to come back here when we come back to Tahoe. It’s great they finally have a place with excellent coffee.

Great coffee and great food! Their new location at the Ski Run Marina has outdoor seating and a gorgeous view of the lake. Their international menu has everything from fro-yo and baklava to chicken teriyaki and lumpia. The gyros plate and freshly grilled Persian kebabs made for a very tasty and satisfying meal.

Great food. Had the gyro and falafel platters. Highly recommended if that is what you crave. The grape leaves are the veggie kind and are well flavored. The hummus was smooth, flavorful and had a high garlic content. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We live up here and have passed it by due to the rough look of the exterior. I am glad we finally stopped. We will be back again as the food is very good, and where else can you find gyros?

This is a gem of a place in S Tahoe. The staff are kind and accommodating, everyone in our group really enjoyed their coffee and tea drinks. I wasn’t in love with the falafel, which was rather dry and bland, but certainly not the worst I’ve ever had. Nice place to stop for a little R&R on a break from skiing.

The Wildman Café is a hidden treasure! I am a local and I get my coffee from this café every day, it is aways fresh and the owner is super nice and his customer service is top notch. The Gyros are great. Very comfy and cozy environment, Wifi, internet access, fireplace, big screen T.V. Food and coffee is not over priced at all. Great place, I highly recommend this café! Check it out.
