I’ve been coming to this Renaissance Faire for three years now. We always manage to find groupons beforehand which makes the price very reasonable for two adults. This year we visited on the first day of the faire and I don’t know that I would do that again. There are so many varieties of booths to peruse at your leisure. I love seeing all of the handcrafted clothing, hat, jewelry, etc. So many wonderful handmade and incredibly unique items to be found. There is constantly something happening to watch anything from musicians, pirates, nobility, knights, jousting, etc. The only problem with opening weekend is that much of this was running incredibly far behind schedule. That was rather disappointing. There are plenty of food vendors set up to partake of if you are hungry or thirsty while enjoying the merriment and festivities. Overall, this is well worth a trip up to Tahoe but skip opening day so they can iron out all of the kinks and turn this event into a well oiled machine.
