Business Owner

Ray Goodenough is a long time recovered alcoholic and operates «The Center for Higher Learning» counseling office out of South Lake Tahoe, CA.

In 1973, he was the director of three Alcoholism Service centers known as «Sierra Council on Alcoholism» with three locations in South Lake Tahoe, Woodfords, CA and Bridgeport, CA. What was once known as The South Lake Tahoe Council is now known as Sierra Recovery Center. Ray was also the co-​founder of Tahoe Turning point, a group home for adjudicated youth, and has been working with both adolescents and adults for nearly 30 years.

Ray is a Certified Clinical Hynotherapist, a licensed Neuro Linguistic Programmer, a Certified Trainer of the Enneagram, a ten year student of Transactional Analysis, and trained with several renoun teachers at Esalen Institute.
