I learned that you are the owner of the company
I am not sure if you really know what is going on in your company,
I hope you take some charge of your company instead of delegating your business to others
I paid your company for charges that were never done
I was asked to place an entry lock on the Linen closet in the second floor and
to replace the lock on the basement for a key entry lock instead of regular
lock
so I went ahead and installed a new lock on the closet and replaced the lock for
the basement
I made a duplicate copy of the keys for the basement and intentionally left the key
for the basement lock inside the lock
I looked for the closet key and I could not find them
I informed your company representative about the locks
I was informed that the locks going to be replaced
I received a statement from your company for charges (Labor and material) for two
locks which were deducted from the rental income,
when I called your office I was informed that they replaced the locks,
your representative stated that he needed to do so because he did not get the key
for the Linen Closet
I went to my house and to my surprise I found the locks to be the same that i had replaced
before,
I went myself to your company asking for the closet keys and they were unable to produce any because they never had them in the first place, and they were never replaced and they
were the same locks that I replaced originally
that hold true for the thermostat which I was asked to replace and still got charged for that
few days ago I personally asked your office to give me a copy of the keys for the house
and they were left on the counter
I tried to find the keys for the closet and could not find it, I contacted your office and asked
for the closet key otherwise we shall break it,
he insisted that the key was among the rest, needless to say I was not surprised about that
answer which was witnessed by the other contractor, and we went ahead an broke the lock
and replaced it
few weeks ago it happened I was there when the cleaning lady was in the house, and she
was unhappy that you pay her 100 dollars for cleaning the house, while you collect three times
the amount from the renters
as far as allowing me to be off the contract, my answer to this is clear as a bell ‚
You (your staff) had violated the contract in the first place,
I advise you if you are the owner is to look after your business and check whom you are
hiring before it is too late, it doesn’t worth it
if you want more then I am ready for you, just ask
I have all the documentations and witnesses if you are interested

False advertising! Lake Tahoe Accommodations was promoting amazing prices on beautiful homes in South Lake Tahoe in December 2015/​January 2016 through VRBO — but those homes were not actually available. You had to call into their service to find out what was available, which was not a quick process. I’m sure their available homes are very, very nice — they are priced three to four times more than advertised and way more than we could afford, so calling them was a waste of time. Just so you know.

Condition of house in general:
Economy should not mean run down, mildew smelling, moldy, dirty and in terrible condition. This home needs a tremendous amount of work to bring it up to a living condition, economy or not, and we believe it should not even be rented to others until the living conditions of the home are improved, or the home is demolished and reconstructed due to the mold and mildew that we witnessed.
The first thing my husband said to me when he opened the front door was, do you smell that? I said, yes, it smells like mildew. He said that smell is due to mold. He immediately went into the rear patio and saw mold all along the outside of the foundation wall and on the exterior walls of the home. The smell also seems to be coming up through the floor vents where the heater ducts run under the floor. With our bad allergies we both were very uncomfortable about this and the foul odor was not going to go away.
In addition to the mold and mildew smell of the home there are two beds in the home that are terribly old and soft that when we sat or laid on them we sagged in the middle terribly. My husband has a bad back so that was not going to work for him. The beds appeared to be over twenty years old.
The toilet seat in the master bathroom had a piece of tape around a spot that was cracked and would pinch your butt if you sat on it.
Some of the closet doors are warped and off the tracks making them nearly impossible to open.
The sliding glass door to the rear patio did not have a lock and appeared that someone had tried to break in. The door has a board in the track to keep it from opening.
There’s were scratches and scuffs though-​out the house, damage to the walls, the door handle was coming off in the master bedroom.
There were wax spots on the carpet, a huge purple stain under the dining table.
The safety screen to the wood burning stove was leaned up against the wall behind the stove and the screen was broken with holes in the sides so we didn’t want to light a fire concerned for our safety.
There was an empty bag of Ice Melt thrown on the ground next to the door. There is also other trash laying around. We took several photos of the damage to the home and the mold and mold stains.

For Christmas we rented a condo for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was super clean and was well stocked. We will definitely rent from Lake Tahoe Accommodations again!

Just reviewed a local Sacramento business and was reading my old reviews. Figured this one needed an update since there were several «useful» marks on it.
It is five years later and I never have gone back to this horrible business. I use VRBO now for my annual Tahoe party and find much better deals with owners that care about their guests.
The LTA manager seriously said the contract «means» the place will be available LATER than 4pm and that how much later was up to them and their cleaning team! Yet they don’t call you to tell you when it is available. better arrive at a casino and be prepared to send a scout to find out when/​if the home is available. «Check-​in after 4pm» means THE GUEST may arrive and check in anytime after 4pm lady. NOT that the house will be available «SOMETIME» after 4pm.

Lake Tahoe Accommodations in Incline Village. Martin Hansen and Laura Gonzalez deserve 5 stars! This is my first write up with this site, and my experience with those two was so positive. I felt compelled to let others know. I would definitely recommend the Incline Village office — they will take care of you! After a disappointing experience with the Tahoe City location, we were given a 2-​day «complimentary» stay. The house we were assigned to was questionable (old, dark, etc) After explaining to Laura that it was just for the two of us and we were looking for something newer, maybe smaller, definitely brighter, she and Martin moved us to a condo on the fairway of Incline’s championship golf course. The condo was perfect (very clean) — Renting #15 will not disappoint and we will definitely be back. But the real reason I am taking the time to write, is the care of the staff… Martin and Laura/​Incline Village are a shining example of how to treat customers.

He not only gave us two complementary nights for our inconvenience, he also down graded the property to ensure that it was correctly represented. I am incredibly disappointed by the experience I’ve had with Lake Tahoe Accommodations, the unprofessionalism of key staff members, their lack of transparency, and their dishonesty.
I rented a house through their service 4 weeks ago. My group spent 2 hours cleaning the house on the morning of our departure (despite a $ 300+ cleaning fee being built into the contracted rental payment) to ensure we left the house as close as possible to how we found it.
A few days after we left I called their office to follow up and ensure that they found the house in good condition. Their people confirmed that they had. If this was the end of my story, they would be receiving a 5 star rating.
Unfortunately it isn’t.
A few days after this initial call, I was contacted by a member of their staff who very forcefully accused my group of blatantly mistreating the property and causing excessive damage. They then «went ahead and charged [me] $ 250» for these damages (maybe you should call the customer to notify them you’ll be doing this first?) in preparation of repairing them.
After a continually escalating exchange, during which I stood firm that my group had taken diligent care of the house, I requested proof of the damage. I then received a picture of an object with knife marks in it, which I was told came from the cleaning lady and was showing a section of the kitchen countertop. To me, the object with knife marks appeared to be resting on top of something, so I asked if the picture was not of the kitchen countertop, but rather of a cutting board sitting on top of the counter. I was told by this kind staff member something like «no, definitely not. Does that look like a cutting board to you?»
I continued to ask where this damage was, how it was found, generally trying to triangulate the problem. However, blame was continually pushed upon me. Our conversation resolved with this man telling me I’d continue to hear from LTA as the damage was assessed and that they might have to charge me more money depending on the severity of the damages.
After multiple days of complete silence on their end, I tried calling the LTA office again, hoping to speak with a different member of their staff and get more information on the status of the rental in question. I was able to speak with another woman at LTA who, much to my surprise, confirmed that the aforementioned scratch marks were actually on a cutting board as I initially suggested. I thought back to my prior interaction and was left with the sourest taste in my mouth. She apologized (thanks) and confirmed they would be refunding the money they charged my credit card in full (thanks).
Again, a customer service mishap that seems like it was corrected. Yet still, the story continues.
In the 2 weeks since that last exchange, I have not been refunded a penny of my unexpectedly and unlawfully charged $ 250 (Rental contract literally says: «No additional charges shall accrue to your credit card card provided there has been no breach of this agreement»). I’ve made repeated calls to the LTA office, who initially said that the refund was processing, but have since changed their story to «we needed to charge you for excessive trash.» Remember the morning where my group cleaned for 2 hours? I personally brought all the trash out to the bear box. And also let me revisit the earlier point that I’D ALREADY BEEN CHARGED $ 300+ UPFRONT FOR A CLEANING FEE…
This operation is not to be trusted. Please be advised + BUYER BEWARE.

This is a follow up review for our stay at Lake Village resort. Although I was initially satisfied with the service I received with Lake Tahoe Accommodations, I have since changed my opinion. We were disappointed with our accommodations at Lake Village Resort and would not recommend Unit #185. We shared many of our concerns when we checked out and were told that someone would contact us about our concerns. It has been almost 2 months since our stay and we have heard nothing from them.
We chose a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower level. Kitchen, dining, and living area on the upper level.
Positive Features:
1. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and dishes.
2. Combination washer/​dryer in unit
3. Convenient location
Negatives:
1. The DVD player did not work and we had to call maintenance. I will give them credit for sending someone over later in the afternoon
2. Lighting was minimal at best. The one light over the kitchen table was probably the brightest in the entire unit. (Other reviewers have also commented on this issue)
3. The handle on the kitchen faucet was broken. The water temperature would change from cold to scalding hot.
4. The handle on the master bathroom faucet made 360 degree turns. It was hard to remember which way was on or off.
5. The rack on the BQ grill had rust all over which made it impossible for us to grill.
6. Last but not least, and in my opinion the most offensive was the rat droppings we found on the coffee table.
I’m sure there are other units that may have been in better condition, but I am hesitant in recommending Tahoe Accommodations if this is an indicator of how they manage their properties.

They helped us last minute on labor day weekend. Even stayed late to help. They gave us a bottle of wine and made our 25^th wedding anniversary the best. Thank you!

We just stayed in a great place on Jeffrey street. We brought our elderly parents in their late 80s and when we got to the initial place we realized that all the bedrooms were upstairs and my dad would never be able to walk up and down those stairs safely. I contacted the office and they were so wonderful and placed us in a more convenient place that had all the amenities plus more. The gardens in the back were gorgeous. We could stay outside on the deck all day long. The kitchen was perfect and the beds were comfortable. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay :) look no further than Lake Tahoe accommodations to find your perfect place! The ladies in the office are awesome! We brought our dogs into the office initially and my Labrador made herself at home and just started walking around! They are total dog lovers. This tells me a lot about the people running this company. They are personable, professional, responsive, and caring. I can’t wait for my next visit! Thank you ladies :)

My friend booked a rental through them for our group trip. The house was nice enough but they neglected to tell us that we could only have three cars parked in the driveway and some of us had to leave our car at a casino parking lot which wasn’t cool. Also there was a mystery stain on one of the pillows and one of the showers was broken. Lastly, a 10am checkout is ridiculous considering what they charge. We probably wouldn’t use their services again.

I reserved a condo through LTA for mid July. My son would be on leave from the Air Force so we were excited about having a family trip in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Truly one of our favorite places. Well as luck would have it, my son was informed two days ago that he was being deployed within the next few weeks. I called LTA to explain our situation and ask for a refund. They said no, that their policy was to issue only a 50% refund for cancellations within one month of the reservation. No exception would be made. This is beyond disappointing. They treated us as though we had simply changed our minds. So, when you’re waving your American flag around on the 4^th of July and enjoying a nice barbecue with your families, think of my son who’s putting his life on the line in the Middle East to protect your liberty. You will never get my business again. And I’ll make sure everyone I know chooses a different rental company.

Very kind ladies in the office. They were willing to help with whatever I needed and even let me check in early! That was great as I had driven 3.5 hours and was ready to nap. The house was clean, much appreciated :) We got a free bottle of wine, snacks, coffee to brew and a tote bag for checking in! Pretty good stuff.
Only complaint, 10 AM checkout! Rough on a Sunday morning after we went out until 2 AM :/​I know they have to clean the house, but.sheesh.tough.
Oh wait, one more. our furniture (specifically the couch) was in pretty bad shape and felt kind of dirty.
We will use them again if we go to Tahoe simply because they were easy to deal with and relatively inexpensive.

Lake Tahoe Accommodations is a first class organization! I booked an amazing house in the Keys for my husbands 40^th. The house was huge, clean, with modern updates and included an indoor pool and hot tub with views of the mountains and water. What a fantastic spot to celebrate!
I have rented from several companies all over Lake Tahoe over the years but none compare to the costumer service Lake Tahoe Accommodations provided. We had some issues with the dates and needed to change things around last minute, they were accommodating with no hesitation to move the dates with no penalties. When I called maintenance looking for a hose they were there in an hour. And when one of the kids broke something they waived the fee. So understanding!
Thank you to Leah and her staff for making it an amazing vacation. Looking forward to our next vacation with you!

We arrived at 4:00 pm to get the keys for the cabin-​We were told that they were backed up with housekeeping and the house was not available. We planned our day with 6 children with the expectation of getting the cabin around 4:00 p.m.
Big mistake! At about 5:00 pm, my sister wanted an estimated time and they kept repeating, any time after 4:00 pm but before midnight. The receptionist was very polite but the manager lost her cool. She became irate when my sister insisted on getting an approximate time using her professional expertise and the resources available to her. The conversation ended with the manager rolling her eyes and walking away. I had never seen such unprofessionalism on behalf of a supervisor. Again, everyone else in that office was extremely polite and professional except for the manager.
We drove around town with our six kids until we received the call that the cabin was ready around 7:30 p.m. This time gap of 3 and a half hours might not seem like a long time, but we left Los Angeles at 5:00 a.m. and arrived into town around 2:00 p.m.
On a positive note, once we got the house, we were very pleased with the home. It just felt as though we wasted our first night, unpacking at night with 6 very anxious kids. When you pay $ 500 a night, you expect a different level of service.
Leah from the front desk was very positive and apologetic-​my point being that there is a good working staff there but horrible leadership!!!

I made reservations for one of the properties, I received confirmation email, I paid the bill, I signed rental agreement and day before our departure I get a call from this management company that they have made a mistake and that property that I wanted was already rented. They did not have any other properties available. What can I tell you! What would you do?

I’ve used LTA twice for group vacations in Lake Tahoe. Both times have been great experiences with clean rooms, great amenities, and easy check-​ins/​outs. Leave the trash in the garage for cleaning to take care of, they wash linens and towels, all you have to do is run the dishwasher before leaving.
The only area I believe LTA can improve upon is the early check-​in process. I booked our last stay (in July) back in March. Our group of 8 were having a bachelor party weekend and were taking Friday off to accommodate the drive and planned activities. LTA does not guarantee early check-​in but they say its possible if there’s no one staying in the rental the day before your arrival date — which the customer has visibility into on the website. However, LTA cannot guarantee the rental will be clean before your arrival so your only option is to call the day before your arrival to see if it had been cleaned (they get a list of cleaned cabins every morning at 9am). So more often then not, you’ll be on your way to Tahoe when you find out if you can/​can’t get early check-​in.
I don’t mean this to be a rant, but the process needs to be refined. I could see online that the cabin was vacant the entire week leading up to our stay, so safe to assume it will be clean well before arrival (in this case it was). But told I still need to call the day before. You’d think there would be a way to guarantee early check-​in with scenarios like this, but that may be asking too much.
Regardless, I would stay with them again, as well as recommend their services.

I booked a weekend with them. Room was as described. Check in smooth. Check out also smooth.
I do have a complaint. They list properties on many sites with different prices, lower than the actual price. I booked on vrbo because it was the lowest price. They chose to ignore my reservation and claimed they couldn’t find it when I called in. Vrbo is simply a classifies ad and the prices there are base prices, not valid for holidays. That’s untrue, vrbo allows you to offer different prices for different days. I was forced to book through them for a higher price. About 30 minutes after the booking, an email from vrbo hits my inbox stating the seller cancelled my reservation — a shocker — I know.
To sum it up, the cabin was as described. I received a free bottle of wine. The booking process, and the semi-​bait-​and-​switch were a downer on the whole process. The phone and check in agents were helpful.

I had a pretty smooth experience with them for a winter South Lake Tahoe trip. Received a gift bag upon arrival which included a tote and bottle of wine. The front desk (South African guy) was super nice and charming. We had issues with our hot tub not working but they sent someone to check it out, and when they couldn’t fix it, I got $ 150 knocked off my bill.
Customer service on the phone was always really helpful when I had any questions wading up to the stay. Payment process was quick and easy and I loved the cancellation policy within 7 days.
The property we stayed on was huge and gorgeous. It was right next to the lake (made for great photos). The fireplace was warm and cozy… and the house was large enough to accommodate 16 people. Great for shared meals, games and hanging out.
Would definitely use them again!
