The Tahoe Chalet Inn is located in Beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California. We are within walking distance of the Ski Run Beach, Restaurants and Shops, the Stateline, NV Casinos, and the Heavenly Resort and Village. We have recently opened our new, Little Chapel in the Big Trees, Which also serves as an Event Room. We are currently able to host medium to small Weddings and Events. With many choices on the property for either an indoor or outdoor wedding there will be no problem finding the perfect spot for your special day. The Tahoe Chalet Inn offers Tastefully Themed Suites as well as Standard Rooms and Deluxe Rooms. We are currently offering special rates on our Theme Suites to the Newlyweds that marry on the property. We have an Event Planner on staff that organizes all of our Weddings and Events to ensure your day is especially memorable.

History

Established in 1950.

The Tahoe Chalet Inn was established in the early 1950s, and has undergone many changes since its opening. The Chalet started out small and simple, with only one, single story building. As we progressed over the years, an additional story was added, and more recently a second property was built directly behind the original property. In keeping with the times we have remodeled our property and rooms to better accommodate our guests, without leave behind the natural Tahoe charm that embraces our Chalet. But by far the most beautiful part of the Chalet’s property, is our newly opened «Little Chapel in the Big Trees». The Chapel is nestled in a beautiful private garden peacefully surrounded by tall pine trees, colorful flowers, and the bubbling sound, of several water features. After your stay at our Beautiful Tahoe Chalet Inn, we hope you are left with a relaxing and memorable Tahoe experience.
