This was definitely the most convenient and cheapest bike rental in South Lake Tahoe! Best of all, this company’s business hours were most flexible. Everywhere else closed at 5 or 6 pm which narrowed us down to this place considering it was a last minute decision for out group to rent bikes to stroll around while on vacation.
Todd was informative and courteous and delivered the 4 requested bikes within half hour. Bikes were in great condition and bike rental included helmets (although we didn’t use it.) What was also great was the kid bike we requested, he took it back without any problems when the kid in our group backed out last minute. Prices are very reasonable and delivery and pick up of the bikes was most convenient!

This is the shop to go to if you want great bikes with fantastic prices.

Price is fantastic, we had beach cruisers for $ 36 for 2 full days (over night), with free delivery and pick up. Other shops (Anderson, Tahoe Bike Company, Tahoe Sports etc.) are much more expensive. Tahoe Bike company asks $ 30 for half day (only 4 hours, same bike models)!!!
After looking at several bike shops in South Lake Tahoe, we vote this shop #1 for quality and price.

We were in South Lake Tahoe last weekend and needed to rent bikes for our two nieces that are 4 and 6 years old. We called quite a few places and Tahoe Beach Cruiser Rentals was the most affordable and Todd was so friendly and helpful. He brought us 2 kids bikes and 1 tag-​along to our house and sized up the kids properly and we ended up renting 1 kid bike and 1 tag-​along. The bikes were in great shape and we rode them for 3 days without any problems. Then Todd came back to our house to pick them up as scheduled! I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone wanting to rent bikes in Lake Tahoe!

Todd picks up the phone promptly and talk to us about available bike options. It’s great that he offers drop-​off/​pick-​up. Locks & Helmet included in the rental. Easy to work with. If I visit Tahoe and wanted to go biking, would definitely call Tahoe Beach Cruiser again.

The bike are delivered and the guy even gives you a better deal If you get it for additional days. We rented a cabin down the street so the bikes were delivered quickly. The only real issue we had was one of the bikes kept breaking down but he took of 20 dollars for the inconvenience.

Great place to rent bikes! Even in the off season we were able to rent some bikes. The owner delivers the bikes himself to your location! No hassle. We paid $ 6 per hour but I’m sure it depends on the season. Nothing else was available in the fall season but this place! We had so much riding around. He even provided us a map and showed us places we should check out. I would recommend to friends for sure.

We were vacationing in Tahoe and decided to rent bikes. Tahoe Beach Cruiser Bicycle Rental Delivery was fantastic!!! We needed two bikes and a child’s pull-​behind trailer. The equipment was in tip-​top shape, the service was quick and efficient, and the charges were the lowest (we called 3 companies to compare). Everything that could have been needed was available on the spot and when we called to have the bikes picked up, he was there in 5 minutes.

What an awesome service! Sweet rides, great price, and excellent customer service. You cant beat delivery to your location… you can ride wherever you want too. Would recommend and use Todd again! He arrived at our pick-​up location (which we changed on him twice) within 6min. Keep up the great work!

My boyfriend and I were in Tahoe a few weeks ago, leafing through a coupon book and we saw an add for Tahoe Beach Cruiser rentals. We called the number and from the moment he picked up, Todd was so helpful! We had specific requests for the bikes we wanted and he was more than accommodating. Locks and helmets (which we did not need) were included in the price of the rental. Very convenient! He also provided us with a cool map of Tahoe showing all the bike trails — which came in very handy — and gave us great suggestions as to where we could drive out to see the stars at night!
He delivered our bikes to the hotel where we were staying. We kept our bikes overnight and he picked them up the next morning right before checkout. Easy!
We will be back in Tahoe in less than 2 weeks and will definitely be giving him a call again!

Best bike ride! My husband and I booked our ride at the web site, very easily done. Todd met us at the arranged time at the beginning of the forest trail. Very convenient. He provided us with maps and everything we requested. We called him 10 minutes before we finished our ride and he was waiting for us at arranged spot. Our bikes were top notch. Will rent from Todd again.

Todd was great, very friendly and accommodating!!! Called looking to rent beach cruisers for the week. Not only did we get bikes delivered to us, but the pricing was awesome! As we didn’t want to waste a lot of riding time, which you end up doing when you go into a rental store, we found Todd’s great delivery service. Where he will bring all the bikes and gear to anywhere you want within the Sth Lake Tahoe urban area.
He was easy to get hold off via phone and he was knowledgeable and really helpful in selecting the type of bike that would right for where we wanted to ride to.
As the wife couldn’t decide out of the Ratrod or the Amsterdam he offered to bring both to the drop off point so she could see them. I went with the cool Highline Café Cruiser by Spot– which doesn’t have normal metal chain but has a carbon belt drive, so no grease on your legs.
When we meet up at the hotel, he gave us a thorough briefing, had all the extra gear (good range of helmet sizes, I have a small head so sometimes normal adult ones don’t fit well) and the cool bikes. He made some great suggestions about places to ride to. Then he went the extra mile and made sure the bike seats were adjusted to the right height. Great service, as I’ve had bike shops treat their rental customers with indifference. (You know the whole, you not spending hundreds of dollars on buying a bike so why are you expecting service stuff)
We reconfirmed the pickup point (we rented for 24hrs for $ 25 each bike) and off we went. The bikes handled all the trails without problems. Todd arrived promptly the next day as agreed and was polite and friendly the whole time, you can tell he is not just in this for the money, but has a passion for the area and cruiser bikes!

The guy was easy to work with. I called after looking at his Web site and had some questions. He was initially just looking to scheduled the time, but I needed more assistance as I was new to biking at Tahoe. He then explained his offering and it was acceptable and reasonable. He delivered the bikes on time, closer to the trail than the big rental place up the hill a ways. We were outfitted and on our way and had a lovely day on these bikes. We got back early and he gave us a break and we gave him a nice tip. I would use this service again for about half the cost of the others. I liked choosing where I wanted to pickup and return the bikes.

My wife and I are in the middle of a one week vacation at the 5 star Tahoe Ridge Resort. We drove round trip from San Diego. We decided today to rent beach cruisers for the day. I saw an advertisement for
I called and spoke to Todd the owner at (530−721−7095). He was very professional and helpful with all my questions. We decided on a place to meet, near Camp Richardson at South Lake Tahoe. He was there waiting for us with two beautiful beach cruisers, with baskets and a bike lock. He adjusted our seat heights for our comfort. Gave us a great bike map of the area, and went over some great routes for us to consider. His price was $ 20 per person for up to a 24 hour rental is by far the lowest price of all the bike rental companies in the Lake Tahoe area. If you only want a rental for either 1, 2 or 3 hours the price is $ 6.00 per hour, per bike. We called him 15 minutes before we reached our car at the end of our ride. He said he was on his way, and he was there waiting for us at the end of our ride. We highly recommend Todd and his company to everyone. I love the cool beach cruisers that Tahoe Beach Cruisers have. They have a stretch beach cruiser, tandem cruiser, sweet black cruisers and pink and white cruisers with a baskets and bells. I also saw some cute kids cruisers. Great idea and so close to the bike trails.
