The one good thing about this guy was that he came the same day, when no one else could come for several days… but now I know that was because of his awful reviews and customer service. The other places were busy because they are MUCH better. I had asked for him to install a lock that I had bought and had no luck installing (was trying to save money by trying it myself). The first thing he said was pretty rude, stating that there were 2 locks (one top dead bolt, a separate door knob). I just assumed since they were the same area it would be one, and obviously I’m not a professional as I couldn’t install it myself and was calling for professional help, so I do not appreciate being talked to rudely. If I knew about locks I would have been able to do it myself. He ended up trying to be friendlier and make small talk, as I believe he realized he was being a jerk… but it still rubbed me the wrong way. If it’s an emergency and no one else will come, he’s definitely timely… but if not I suggest using someone else.

Nice enough guy; friendly, not too professional. Came over same day to rekey our doors. Showed up when he said he would, did a fine job.

Not very helpful, friendly, or professional. I did not think he was capable of doing anything more than a very simple job.

I called on behalf of my friend who is currently locked out of her apartment; she doesn’t have battery left on her phone so she needed someone else to call for a locksmith. She texted me right before her phone died to ask me to contact a locksmith. Unfortunately, this guy is the only one who seems to be available on Sundays. He answered and when I told him I was calling for a friend, he said, «oh is she the one with the ### area code?» I said yes, and he said, «I am not interested in helping her — I gave her two chances.» When I asked what happened, the reason was that the calls were dropped. She has NO BATTERY, which I had explained to him at the beginning! He refused to care or to listen, and simply said, «She will need to find one of my competitors to help her.»
Awful, stupid way to run a business, don’t you think? What great «customer service.» I will never recommend him to anyone — I have never seen someone refuse service before!
