Brian Anthony, DC

I have been seeing Dr Brian Anthony for 9 years. He and Rima are professionals who truly know what builds health on all levels in the human body. They do not work on just one thing. They take an overall picture, and then recommend what will work best. When ever I go in, I always come out feeling balanced and best of all, pain free!
He did wonders for my knee a couple of years ago, and that pain has not ever returned. I have very little low back pain anymore. My back used to go into imbalance (read: pain), about 2 – 3 times per year… no more! And I am very physical with my body. I teach fitness and martial arts classes, so my body takes a good working.
When ever I go in for some major snafu I did on my body, Dr Anthony will recommend a ‘plan’ for getting me back to optimal health. Yes, several appointments close together are best. This is also true of acupuncture, massage, etc. Our body’s problems do not go away with one session per month! (That is for maintenance.) And eventually once every 2 months. (Until I mess myself up again… hahaha!) And I love that he recommends the exact nutritional supplements my body needs at that time (usually one or maybe two). This changes often, depending on the condition of my body at the time I go in.
So glad I found him while I was driving over the hill 9 years ago (he was speaking on a radio talk show). I have sent numerous friends and acquaintances to Dr Anthony (at least 15), and they tell me they are so happy with the results they are getting too (only one person did not return).
Dr Anthony’s prices are also very reasonable. For the quality of care, he is so worth it!

I’ve been seeing Dr Anthony since I was about 16 – 17 years old. My body had had a battle with the EB virus and my immune system wasn’t doing well at all. Also I had just been diagnosed with FM and had old injuries to my neck, back and head. Every day was a battle just to get out of bed. I was exhausted and in constant pain and wanted to manage without having to take tons of painkillers.
With Dr Anthony working with me I was able to get back on my feet again. On my first visit he talked with me and my mother about my health issues and accidents I had been injured in and spent lots of time helping me via neck and back adjustments, percussion massage, pressure point, laser therapy, diet and nutrient changes. Even insoles for my shoes that are just heavenly, even after years of use!
It’s been 16 years now. I come in every once in a while for follow ups and especially if I feel any pain. Before I started coming to Cypress Chiropractic, I didn’t have much hope of living a normal life with minimal pain. Every day was extreme pain and exhaustion but thanks to Dr Anthony it hasn’t been that way for years. And I’m very grateful to him and his wife for everything they’ve done to help me.

This is for the guy below me with the ONE STAR review, how dare you judge after one visit… About 10 years ago i hurt my back while working at safeway (i was 16) and have suffered for the last 10 years with chronic, horrible back pain because of it. i too tried doctors, got x-​rays, chiropractors, physical therapy, acupuncture, even considered getting hypnotized to see if that would work… and none of it had any lasting impact on me. i was in my car one day and listing to AM 1080 and i they had been talking to a chiropractor in Soquel named Dr. Brian Anthony who specialized in chronic conditions and did sports medicine and pressure point therapy, and then they mentioned lower back pain was also one of his strong points. They were giving away a free pressure point appointments and consult to the first couple of callers, so i quickly picked up my phone and called and made an appointment! I figured it couldn’t hurt since i had already exhausted all my other options. I went to my appointment, told them about myself, they told me they could help, and i gave them a chance. Their office is very small and personal, and at my 2^nd appointment Dr. Anthony spent well over an hour with me asking me in depth questions about my problem and about my whole life basically, stuff i didn’t even think pertained to my back problem. Fast forward about 6 months and i can tell you happily that i have been pain free and feeling absolutely wonderful, for the first time in 10 years! Saying that Dr. Anthony is just a chiropractor does him a huge injustice, he is a holistic medical genius that truly cares about each of his patients, is never in a rush to get to the next person, and found the root cause of my problem that no one else had ever looked for, they were just trying to cover up the pain. I am Sooooooo glad that I trusted him and gave him a chance and didn’t judge him on his title of «chiropractor». I can’t urge you strongly enough to give him a chance also and stick with him, he is a miracle worker but that still doesn’t mean he needs your time commitment.

This man and his entire office conduct themselves with a complete lack of integrity. The first thing I noticed was the receptionist trying to scare a poor immigrant into thinking he needed to commit to a series of expensive visits. Then the doctor himself completely failed to do what the KSCO radio host said he would do. He recognized that he wasn’t going to make any money with me and then he swiped his hand over my back as if to do the pressure points and sent me out, fortunately without the scare tactics. Don’t believe the radio promotions for one minute and good luck in this wonderful county finding a real healing chiropractor!

I had heard that Brian was a good chiroprator, but after a few visits with him and his staff I thought he was GREAT! I felt like I was cared about and listened to. Thanks a lot Dr. Brian and his knowledgeble staff.
