Located at Hardin Gardens, a small, working, family-​run farm, this charming one-​bedroom cottage has all the comforts of home yet beckons you to experience the simple pleasures of life. Your «home-​away-​from-​home» will place you within four miles of over 10 wineries and just minutes from the Napa Valley. You will also be just 3 miles from the historic Sonoma plaza and all of the exciting events the Valley of the Moon has to offer year-​round.

History

Established in 2009.

The Sweet Tangerine is located on a three-​generation family farm. Over 30 years ago, Dennis and Maria Hardin sought to move their daughters away from San Bruno, California to the simpler life of the country. Thank you Mom and Dad!

In 2005 their daughters purchased the front parcel of the property from their parents. At that time Amanda and Janina’s grandmother lived in «the cottage», but in 2008 she moved to Oregon to be with her daughter. Since moving back to the property Amanda had heard from customers of Hardin Gardens that they wished they could experience the «simple» life (it’s not always so simple) and spend some time on the farm. So the two families collectively decided to try their hand at running a vacation rental, in the hopes that «farm living» might appeal to the masses (at least for a couple of days). After extensive remodling and redecorating (that was so much fun) The Sweet Tangerine was born in August of 2009.
