Body Best Collision Center

Unfortunately I had been hit TWICE in a years time! Both times I took my car straight to Dino at Body Best! The first time it was a relief to have found him and and have everything go so smooth and effortless!!! The second time: It was an equal relief to know I had him to call/​text immediately and know that it would be handled the same way as the first! I will not take it anywhere else! Everything gets handled, no stress, no fuss, no hassles; no bother! Dino is quick to respond and make sure things get done! I hope i do not get hit again, or in a fender bender: If I do, I certainly know who I will call!

Dino must have got too lazy and too greedy to keep the customer service up to par.
I was hit last week and went in this morning for an estimate on my car thru AAA. On my way over I remembered I should ask if they could look at my front end seeing as how I just put hundreds of dollars into fixing my front end. even though the bumper damage is minor I wanted it looked at and the alignment checked.
when I walked in it didn’t even look like they had me on the books. they called a guy out and I took him out to look at my car and he doesn’t even know why I’m there and I was having a hard time completely understanding what he was saying because his accent was fairly thick but I didn’t want to be rude and ask for someone else so I do my best to listen carefully and ask to repeat. I tell him I’m just there for an estimate, nothing else. he immediately seems annoyed. I ask him about my front end and alignment. he asks me if the guy hit my wheel and I tell him maybe he did, but by the time I had got out of the car I could only see the damage not where the other car had exactly hit. then he says my front end is fine. uh…“how do you know you haven’t even looked?” he answers, «well he didn’t hit your wheel so it’s fine.»
I start to get annoyed by this point and I tell him when I was hit my wheels were turned out, the guy could have hit my wheel but I’m not sure, I just want to know if you CAN check my front end and alignment and if not I need to know so I can call AAA and find out how I get that checked and estimated. he says they can check my alignment. I says awesome CAN your also check the whole front end. he continues to go back and forth with me about this a few times and I finally said, «I always thought you were JUST body repair so I NEED to know if you CAN check my front end and alignment if not I will call AAA for that.»
this guy gets visibly upset with this and says, «would you like to come look around my shop and tell me what I can and can’t do.»
FURIOUS ME storms off telling him I’m done and I’ll somewhere else. my mom came with me and I walked to her car to explain to my mom what happen and we leave.
I call AAA and my claims specialist and explain, she told me that was totally UNACCEPTABLE of Body Best employees.
I will never say another good thing about Body Best. I had a friend in high school who loved working for them and I used to recommend them to people, NEVER AGAIN.
Maybe my customer service expectations are too high but I was hit by another car and minor or major damage YOU as a body repair shop should be kind to your clients because some of us are upset enough that are cars are damaged and then you want to treat us like shit.
like I told my mom, my boyfriend and Facebook, I’ve gotten better customer service from a 2 star Dennys at 1am than I did from Body Best today.
if you take your car here I hope you have better luck than I did.

Well we had a tree branch fall and hit our family van while driving and mark it all the way down the side, and so it was time for another trip to see Alex at body best!
As always before, Alex took care of everything and made out van just like brand new again. They always do an excellent job.
On the day I was supposed to pick it up though, I noticed there was a scratch right on the area where they had just repaired! I was very surprised, but it just meant they needed one extra day to reprint and fix it again. No big deal, I just kept the rental an extra day.
I can’t recommend this shop highly enough, they keep the customer very happy and do the best job possible. If you want reliable and factory like work, Body Best is your place.

Fantastic service, quality all around. We were out of towners and had some trouble with our rental car. The kind owner of the shop fixed it for us free of cost and sent us on our way. Next time we’re in Sonoma, we will make it a point to go back and thank him again in person! This is how a small business is supposed to operate.

I took my car to Body Best Collision as recommended by CSAA to replace the grill and front bumper on my brand new Subaru from damage caused by someone backing into it. Right from the start the guys at BBC were the best… courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The repairs were completed within the time frame quoted and I couldn’t be more pleased. My car looks brand new again and was returned to me sparkling clean inside and out, as though it had been detailed. And they even handled the return of the rental car for me. Thank you Body Best. Keep up the good work!

I have known Dino from Body Best for 7 years now. He runs an excellent Shop! His crew is very professional and upbeat.
There is a board in the reception area covered in Thank You cards. How many Body Shops do you know that people send personal Thank You cards to? If you get into an accident, there is no place that will take better care of you and your car!

I agree with Antwan R. This place has poor customer service. I asked for a quote to have 4 Wheel flares of my truck to be painted. I had already removed them and in my trunk wanting to show them to the Manger Dino so he can give me a quote. He literally let me sit outside for 10 to 15 minutes and when he finally came out, he was anoyed, short, rude and arrogant. I showed him that these parts were in perfect shape needing no body work and all I needed him to do is, prep, paint and clear coat them. He kept making a big deal out of it and asked me what car they were from. I intently had not told him as it really should not matter. As soon as I did tell him they were of my Mercedes G55, his eyes lit up and he quoted me 3 to 4 times over what it should have cost and what I ended up paying at a reputable place 5 minutes away. Too bad buddy, just because I have a expensive truck, it does not mean I am stupid. It is clear that this place prefers to do straight forward insurance jobs they can charge tons of money for and do not care to work on a unusual yet simple job like mine. If some one like me requests custom work, they quote you an arm and a leg hoping you will go away, but if you are inexperienced and fall for it, they will over charge and take your money. Not very smart to have judged and quoted me based on my entire truck when I only brought you 4 little pieces. They not only lost this job, but several other classic cars I needed completely painted. Took my parts to family owned shop on Broadway, which were friendly and took very good care of me. They earned my trust and business and are now also painting several of my classics.

Body Best is terrific: professional, friendly, and really know bodywork including new high end cars. My BMW X1 had major dents and scrapes when I took it in and now looks as good as new — which is super important to me since it’s on lease.
The door needed to be replaced and they were able to source a new one quickly, so it didn’t take any more time.
Overall, Body Best did fantastic work and everyone there was a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent and prompt service at a fair price.
I would recommend them.

Body Best Collision Center on 8^th Street East, is hands down the best auto body shop in town… and probably for a 50 mile radius (at least). They’re very friendly, professional, efficient — and they do outstanding work, most importantly. I cannot tell you how important it is to know that if I drop off my car with an auto body need, how comforting it is to not have to worry about the repairs being handled professionally. My family is critically important, and I trust them to do their work perfect the first time — for my childrens’ safety… and I have the utmost confidence in this body shop. Take my review seriously, our lives are literally resting in their competent hands.

After backing into a parked car I was devastated to say the least. After contacting my insurance they informed me that they have a contract with Body Best but I could certainly take my car anywhere. After dwelling on it, since I have never had any experience with Body Best I went ahead and decided to try them out to make it all that easier for insurance issues. Dropped my car off to them on a Monday afternoon and I was surprised to be contacted the next day to inform me where they were at with fixing my car and that they anticipated having my car completed by Friday (I was amazed). On Thursday I was contacted again to inform me my car was done. WOW, having it done 1 day before promised what a treat! The communication and work that was done was AMAZING. I WILL be a returning customer and recommend this body shop to all. Thank you to the GREAT service!!!

They did a very nice job with two separate vehicles belonging to us. Friendly, prompt, and reasonable.

Body Best just finished a small paint job using a 2 part LP paint on some boat spars that I took in. As always, an outstanding job at an excellent price!

I hate to have a need to go here, but when I need to go here, they take care of me right.
I mean it. These Boys are professional, honest and great at their craft. When I had my ’65 mustang, I trusted it with no one else. Touch ups on an old car are true tests for a body shop, and the paint was so spot on, I couldn’t even tell you where they fixed it, and I knew where the problem area was to start with!
My mustang days are gone, but since being in an accident, my current car is there now and I know that Body Best will do everything to get it back to me in at least as good of condition as it was pre-​accident, but likely even better.

The customer service at Body Best is incredible. I haven’t gotten my car back from them yet, but I’ve seen examples of their work restoring classic cars and they do a fabulous job.
Living in the city, I’ve gotten used to poor service and extended wait times… After getting rear-​ended at a stoplight, I was not happy at the prospect of dealing with another body shop.
Imagine my surprise when I brought my car in and had a prelim estimate in 15 minutes. Gary explained what was wrong and approximately how long it would take to get parts and do the work, and they had me in a rental and out the door. That same day, they called to give me the finalized number on the estimate. Ok, you’re saying, but what’s so special about their service?
Because I live in the city, I had to replace my parking permit since the old one was firmly affixed to the smashed bumper. When I was at the permit office, the clerk decided that she needed a fax from the body shop to verify my repairs. I called the shop and Shamush faxed it over right away– and the clerk THEN decided she needed the entire freaking estimate! It was 4:59 and I was not optimistic about my chances of getting it, but Shamush was a lifesaver and helped me out at the end of his very busy day. He was also extremely accommodating– now try getting that kind of service from another shop! I have problems even getting a live person on the phone half the time.
Hopefully I won’t be needing any more body work done on my car, but if I do, you can be sure Body Best will be getting my business.
UPDATE 7÷7÷07: My car is gorgeous! she was all detailed and looks like new. I wasn’t able to pick up during business hours, so Shamush met me at 8:30 Sat morning (yes, excellent service) so I could get my car before going out of town.
AND they give you a little bottle of touchup paint so you can fix dings yourself! I love it, it’s like Sephora for cars.
